This Gap is fine. I’d give this specific location 4 stars, I guess. But the overall establishment I give 3. I just don’t get Gap. There have been times when I really liked their clothing, but in recent years everything is so drab and the materials are so industrial(not to mention expensive). This Gap is located in Houston, Texas — we don’t needs extremely thick, wool sweaters and dresses made out of scratchy burlap. We’ll all die of heat stroke. The sales guy was nice though!

I had a great experience here, I came in looking for a specific style, colour, sized pair of Men’s jeans. Immediately, an associate saw me looking and asked if I needed help. He was smiley and outgoing, and looked through almost every pair of Jeans with delight. He was actually pumped about helping me haha Yes, it is his job but I have to commend him on ability to be excited about looking for Jeans! I then had to exchange them for the new size and the lady at the checkout was also very nice and helpful. Long story short, the staff are in fact quite nice and have great customer service skills.

What happened to the simple, yet sometimes striped or plaid shirts? Prices has gone way up and«construction» doesn’t seem to consist to what the asking price is. Even jeans used to be of great quality, creative construction, and fairly priced. Maybe I’m just getting older and cheaper… I’ll continue to shop here for the random bargain and browsing…

I am a Gap card-holder, so I get pretty good rewards at all of the Gap brand stores. I usually go to the Gap store to see what I can find to spend them on, but after going to this store three times, I don’t think I will be back. On my first visit I was looking for a pair of shorts(in June) and I literally could not find a pair that fit me in the store. I’m not sure if the sizing was off or what, but all of the shorts were super baggy on me. This may not be the actual store’s fault, but I feel like they didn’t have a lot in stock. On my second visit I needed to return an online purchase. Apparently it had been over 30 days since I first placed the order, and the sales associate told me that it was too late to return the items in store. I attempted to show her the return policy printed on my invoice(which does not state anything about a 30-day time limit) and she rudely said«I’m sorry you didn’t know about our return policy.» I have since confirmed with Gap customer service that this is not a Gap policy, so basically she turned me away for no reason. On my third visit I just wanted to look around to spend some rewards. There was literally nothing there that I wanted to «buy»(even considering it would technically not cost me anything because I was using rewards). If there is nothing in a store that I would want for free, it is a bad sign. The only good thing I can say is that they had a huge sale on men’s boxers so I stocked up on those for my fiancé. I generally feel like Gap is a hit-or-miss place for me, but this specific store has always been a miss. I will try Old Navy instead or order from Gap online next time I have rewards to spend.
