Dairy Queen

Had son drive thru. Order Nachos deluxe with no beef. They just put a pile of watered down cheese on them.
Put mustard on his burger. Lady was rude!

Usually I have no problems at this location. However, The staff was not friendly at all tonight when I went through the drive through. It seemed as if it was bothering them to have to take my order. They never thanked me for order, smiled, or were even somewhat nice. They bordered on straight up rude. My banana split was all melty and made a huge mess when I took the lid off. It’s as if they don’t give 2 cents about their job. The only reason why they got 3 stars was because of my former encounters here. Which happened to be with different staff members then tonight.

Good ice cream. Bad food. Bad service. They are unorganized and on multiple occasions have wanted me to pay more than once because they do not communicate and let each other know that I have already paid. They can get impatient so know what your ordering or else get judging stares from the crew. Skip on the food, just get one of their treats.

The place has been renovated and looks nicer inside, but the people remain the same. No smile. Blizzards served upside down — No! No friendliness at all. Online I was suppose to get chicken strips, fries and a small sundae meal. Not here. Kids meal — no ice cream. The price is high and you get less food than the online menu. Their ice cream is their only saving grace. That is ALL I will ever come back for.

I have never visited a Dairy Queen that was awesome, so I’m not sure what the unhappy reviewers were expecting. The décor is updated and the food/​service is comparable to every other fast food place. Great for individual desserts and ice cream cakes

Can I just tell y’all to stay away from the drive thru? This location is pretty old, but I’m glad I have a location so close to me. I don’t venture here often as it is not a friend of my waistline. However, the few times I have stopped in, I left a bit frustrated. The drive thru is quite slow and they will not make your shake as requested. You will not receive any napkins and they will look at you like you have lost your mind if you call them on something they did not do. My suggestion is to go inside and look these kiddos in their eyes to ensure they are listening to you. You should also have them repeat the order to you before they dash off to pull something together. On a good note… I really like the dairy queen ice cream… always have.

Came here for some lunch with the olé’ cousin. We drove to the drive-​thru and some odd man was speaking broken English. He didn’t understand our proper English nor anything that we wanted on the menu. We only asked for the $ 5 deal and $ 4.99 special for steak fingers basket. They didn’t have the special for the steak fingers even though the advertisement says that they would.
When we got to the window it was that same odd man and then a lady came up. She was clueless too (hint here they both work there). They both they us the hardest time of our lives. We asked them not to put any whipped cream on our sundaes, but instead they did what they wanted added it.
I ordered the burger, it was nasty. It didn’t have any taste to it, just lettuce and tomatoes. The patty was thin as dirt, and the fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease. They weren’t salty though nor greasy.
My aunt ordered a strawberry sundae, my cousin and grandma ordered chocolate fudge, and I got the caramel sundae all were very good.
My aunt and grandma enjoyed their chicken strip basket instead. My cousin said that Dairy Queen was only good back in the day, but now its below average. Food taste worst than McDonalds.

Grew up in the area but never been to Dairy Queen. Decided to stop in for the ice cream blizzard and a burger after seeing their deals on tv. The ice cream is pretty good (tasted the blizzard and a sundae). The fries and burgers were meh. I mean… lower than average fast food. Everything was very bland tasting and looked the same.
Don’t come here for food. Stop in to pick up a blizzard or ice cream if you want though. There is a drive through. Service is fine. The food is just really lacking in taste and quality though.
