Dive! I left without even ordering. While I was there, one guy answered the phone & he apologized for their pizza arriving cold. And the woman working the front was really surly! She ignored the people waiting to order while she answered(several) phone calls(not even a «I’ll be right with you.») She never smiled, she complained to the other employees.

The three stars are for the easy accessibility and the girl on the phone who was super nice and helpful. Over priced pizza for low quality. I tried giving Red’s Savoy one more shot but the pizza was yet again disappointing. I don’t think that a small pizza with non fresh ingredients like canned mushrooms is worth $ 16. We got there to pick up the pizza just as they were done with it yet it was still cold by the time it got to our house 3 minutes later. I guess the hunt for flame pizza in the Twin Cities continues…

I was expecting something similar to the original Red’s Savoy pizza in St. Paul, boy was I disappointed. The only similarity is in the name. I didn’t even eat the left overs.

Foundation: Crisp Mortar: Thick, spicy Bricks: Plentiful Roof: Abundant, gooey, nicely golden-browned Okay, first of all I love Red Savoy’s pizza. I’ll eat it any chance I get. I wish we had one up in Central Minnesota. I was raised on it on St. Paul’s Eastside. The pizza at this location is what you come to expect from Savoy’s — a thin crust, spicy sauce, lots of toppings, and CHEESE! What I didn’t care for about this location, and as other reviewers have noted, they could use some customer service training. I called in an order for pickup. While the person taking the order did tell me about their happy hour special, he failed to tell me that the price changed depending upon the type of pizza ordered. So, when I showed up, it was more than I expected. Not a deal-breaker, but it was kind of disappointing. When I asked about it, he explained it to me, but as I said, the workers could use some training in treating customers friendly. The pizza was great. If you’re a fan of Savoy’s, you can’t go wrong.

Over priced pizza. $ 18 for a large pie that’s pretty small and thin. Will not waste my money here again. If your looking for pizza in fridley go to Chanticlear !!!

The gal answering the phone could have been a little friendlier, but the food is usually pretty good.

They failed at the Fridley location, and we won’t be patronizing it again. My family ordered carryout pizza from the Fridley location, as my brother lives in the nearby neighborhood. It was his first time ordering from this place since it became a Red’s, it has been other pizza businesses in the past. It’s not really a restaurant, it’s a small place designed primarily for carry out and delivery. We ordered on a Friday evening. We were on hold for several minutes with nobody seemingly interested in taking our order. Yes, a Friday night is a busy time in the pizza biz, and perhaps an emergency left Red’s short staffed, but if you want to sell pie, and keep people coming back, you find a way to overcome your staffing. After many minutes our order was placed. We went to pick it up. Again, the staff didn’t seem to be that interested in hurrying to move product or win over customers with their service. Bad way to do business. As for the pizza: it’s better than national delivery chain pizza, and it’s certainly priced that way. Decent, good ingredients, but I’m not a fan of the sauce. This chain takes pride in its sauce, and people must love it, but I don’t. I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t for me, and didn’t leave me wanting to order a Red’s pie again, even if the service had been exceptional. Next time I’m at my brother’s house and we’re ordering pizza, we’re going north a couple of miles on University Avenue for pizza from another local chain that has always served us well. It’s too bad the pizza shop a stone’s throw from the house didn’t win our business. Hopefully they’ll serve you better.

Well i discovered this place via usps coupons, i was stoked because i’ve been going to the original Red’s in St. Paul for years, and its not too far off my lunch time beaten trail. i went on a Friday at lunch, and they offer a $ 2 slice special, Fridays only. Sweet i think to myself, i order a slice of peperoni and a slice of sausage. the staff throws it in to a togo box, and i sit in there small and dingy dining area. i open the box to look at the pizza goodness, it looks like a Red’s pizza to me, heavy cheese lots of toppings hot and fresh. i take a bite and my attiude starts to change, what the fuck is with the crust? this is not what i’m used to, the pizza has a much thicker crust than the original Red’s pizza crust, shit its like a national chain type crust, thats sucks!!! It only gets 3 stars, sorry guys, i really wanted to give 5. the pizza has all the aspects of Red’s, the sauce, sausage, heavy topping, ect. BEWARE the crust is thicker, l love thin crust. I don’t think i’ll go out of my way to eat there unless i was hungry, and in the neighborhood. if you want the real deal go to Red’s on 7th street.

I don’t get the hype about this place. They have good pizza, it’s not something I’m going out of my way for again. If you’re in the area, come in for there daily lunch specials. I did, price is just fine, employees friendly, but the pizza wasn’t even warm when given to me(could have tossed it in the oven for 30 sec before giving it to the costumer. All in all, Meeeh. Broadway pizza is just 10 min away you can get more favor.

I have had take out pizza twice from Savoy. Both pizza’s were excellant. I shared them with friends and both times got great comments. Especially about the sauce…

This is the first time I have ever left a review so that should tell you how frustrated I am! Today my husband and I placed an order at 5:00PM for delivery. We ordered a small cheese pizza, a large pizza with beef, chicken and black olives. We are Muslim so obviously we don’t eat pork. Anyway, at 6:00PM our«order» was delivered. My husband tipped him and he went on his way. My husband opened the first box and said«ummm wth is this?» It was a real small cheese pizza. He thought, they made a mistake and gave us an extra pizza cause we already had 2 other boxes plus the wings. So then he opens the other boxes and finds that there is pepperoni on both pizzas!!! Ok so we thought they gave us the wrong order, no problem. So I called them and was forwarded to a man(not sure of his name) and told him that we received the wrong order. He asked what did we order. I told him and he responded with«I remember making that order. Not sure what happened but I’m going to remake it and call the delivery guy.» Ok that was fine… or at least I thought! Now it’s 8PM, 3 hours from our first order and 2 hours from our«second» order. We didn’t get our pizza and we never got a call. So I called again! I was transferred to a guy named Bill(which I believe I spoke to the last call but he said it wasn’t him… but whatever) and he just said«not sure what happened. Your the only customer that has called about getting the wrong order.» Meaning, if we got someone else’s order the other person didn’t call complaining about not getting their order right. Well, personally I don’t care! So he said he will place another order for us and I said«if it’s going to take another 2 hours then maybe we should get our money back» his response was…“yeah, I will just give you your money back” wow! What horrible customer service. They didn’t even care that we have been waiting for hours to eat dinner and that they messed up our order twice! Usually businesses would be apologetic and want to make things right but they didn’t care. Now we have 2 pizzas that have pepperoni in which we can’t eat cause it’s pork! So we had to throw them away since Bill said he will not send a delivery man to pick them up! Well you didn’t send a delivery man to deliver my «second’ order. So we ordered pizza from papa johns… it was convenient. Didn’t order wings cause I said hell… might as well eat the wings that were delivered to us! We’ll guess what?!! When I open the container, the damn chicken was raw! Wth is wrong with these people?!! Uggggh! Very frustrated and very disappointed:(

The service was friendly, price was very affordable. The lobby could use a face-lift. This place could be cleaner. There is thick dust on the floor under the tables, the condiment station has dirt and debris in the bottom. As far as the pizza goes, it was okay but it had a weird aftertaste and I think it was the crust. It may be my imagination but one piece was worse than the second piece. They did tell me that they have the paperwork to franchise to a Reds Savoy Pizza which would close this place for a well-needed face lift. Hand written signs on paper plates isn’t impressive signage. I would try again after they changed to a Reds Savoy Pizza.

Solid local pizza joint. Was slightly let down to open my «XL» pizza box and see the pizza inside was considerably smaller than the box. It’s like when you open your bag of chips and see the bag is half filled. I mean, the chips are still really good but… come on. So yeah. It was good. Good balance of sauce/cheese/toppings. Not too salty, not bland. Price was fair. Will try again. Hopefully the pizza to box ratio improves.

Had two large Chicago style pizzas for our family of 7. Amazingly we could have gotten by with one… barely. Awesome crust, great sauce and tons of cheese. We ate in. Ivan was super helpful. Will definitely try again when in the area. Better than all the chains.

Heard about this place opening last year and it’s taken me a year to get out there and try it. It replaced the former Mojo’s Pizza, and boy or boy are we glad that place is gone! The Zza Factory is a MUST try! Small place located in the Holly Center in Fridley, but man do they know pizza. The sauce is completely homemade from scratch and is slow cooked to perfection before even touching your pizzas crust. I happened to order a Deep Dish Pepperoni pizza, and I was blown away. I cannot get over the sauce, and the crust was perfect, literally just perfect. The right amount of cheese and the pepperoni was just right, not greasy like most pepperoni from your commercial run of the mill pizza chain. There are only 3 booths inside for dining and two outside, however I see myself getting takeout from there the next time. Overall, go try it. It’s great!
