Been going to Hong Kong Kitchen since the late ‘60s when they were located across Mississippi. No frills dining; good chow mein, fried rice and egg foo yung, at reasonable prices. Tastes the same as it did when I was a kid and is a must stop every time I visit my hometown.

Have you ever driven over 40 miles round-trip for Chinese? I’ve made the trip several times to Hong Kong Kitchen because their food is excellent. My wife introduced me to it over 10 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. They have great food and is family-run.

this little asian restaraunt, is a bit hard to find, since it is located in a strip mall, off of missisippi ave, in fridley, mn. the décor of the place, is not much, really. the food is servicable, nothing great, prices are reasonable. the bad thing a bout hong kong kitchen, is that there is nothing that sets this place apart, from all the other chinese restaraunts, that are out there. they do accept visa&mastecard.service is good, food comes to your table fast. i hate to say it, but hong kong kitchen, to me, is the chinese version, of a «greasy spoon», type of eatery. i can’t reccomend making a special trip, just to check it out. If you’re at this strip mall, and hungry, then i would say give it a try. But there are a lot of chinese restaraunts, that have this place out-classed.
