Wendy’s

You’re an avid Unilocaler or possibly fast food is your typical eating out experience to find the time to write a reviews on a fast food like Wendy’s. Because seriously who ever reads this anyways?
Like whats the possibility of someone saying «hey honey lets check the Unilocal review on that Wendy’s to see if they are good», the possibility is zero, but anyways Wendy’s happens to be my favorite fast food in California, quite contrary to others in California who usually is heads over heals for In and Out.
I don’t hate In and Out, but when it comes to succulent juicy beef with quality in the fast food world, Wendy’s my girl, its my chica humbergesa ! I usually get the Dave’s Hot and Juicy ¾lb combo for $ 9, which is a stack of 3 patties and cheese with some other junk in it, and a little presentation of salad and tomato to make it seem a little healthier. Beware to know this is a meal of calorie in biblical proportions, but its also going to fill me up because its big, its juicy and its fattening-​ly mean burger is huge and would satisfy even men with the largest appetite. It is 73 grams in protein, so i guess it ain’t all that bad.
The meal also comes with real fries made with potatoes and the world famous Wendy’s frosty. Now frosty is probably going to put a diabetic in coma, but that creamy devilish heaven is worth it, its so soft and creamy, just yum.
For those lost health freaks ending up at Wendy’s, you will be glad to know there are some healthy options like salads, and grilled chicken wraps, so you won’t go hungry.
Open as early at 9.30 am makes wendy’s the perfect to go place for a sinful brunch or even late night grabs since it opens till 2am. Gotta love my chica humbergesa ! This branch usually has friendly employees who might get your order wrong, but they are friendly enough to give you extra, so maybe 1 star less for service, but establishment wise, this Chica humbergesa is awesome.

Found this place when I arrived near my hotel in Fresno that was still open, was going to use their drive-​thru and take it to my room but instead parked and walked in.
No line to order while I was their and the staff were accommodating and friendly. They apologized for not being at the cashier, but I didn’t see nothing wrong with that.
Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich meal, came with a nice chicken sandwich, fresh cut fries and a drink. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, their fries are average at best.
What made me think that this place should get 3 stars was their salad and service.
Ordered the apple walnut chicken salad and it was big and delicious. I think their salads might have been better then the chicken sandwich I had.
Plenty of parking and plenty of inside seating. No soda fountain, I think refills might be a few cents and the place was clean on a late Thursday night.

Right across the street from Fresno State. The staff was friendly and smiled during the transaction. Just needed a quick lunch. The spicy chicken sandwich was hot and fresh. Fries and frosty hit the spot as well. It’s got Fresno State athletic gear all around. Cool !!

My husband and I, we like Wendy’s. I went to this location this past Saturday around 6 PM, it was pretty busy, the line at the drive thru was about 6 – 7 cars. I ordered my husbands meal and got myself a shake (chocolate). I get home and he takes a bite out of his burger and it is very pink. So their I go again and go inside. I also forgot to order it a double so I asked if I could pay to have it made a double. The young cashier stated they would do it for free for my troubles. I heard tell the cook and then tell the manager a little while later. Now, I hate taking food back because of what they might do to it and my husband knows because he was a server. I wasn’t asking for anything for free either, even though I don’t live down the street and had to come back. The cook walks out to give me the burger and makes sure to state it was a single burger. I inspected to make sure he didn’t spit in it or something, he just broke up the piece of meat and did not give me the double. I just walked out of their because I was soooo disgusted with the cook he thinks very highly of himself. I’ll still frequent Wendy’s but not this one, be very cautious when frequenting this particular location.

Honestly Wendy’s has good deals and tastes pretty good. The thing about this place is that the staff thinks they own the place. I had two bad experiences far apart but in my opinion BAD ENOUGH for one star. Below is a description if you need proof but this place has bad service and maintenance. I guess if you live on campus though, you could go…
Experience:
1) Went in ordered a salad and spicy chicken nuggets. Repeated SPICY 2 – 3 times. Got my salad, it was brown and wilted. I went to the cashier and asked for a new one only to have the MANAGER ensure me that their lettuce was cut fresh every morning. Really? Serious? If you’re going to make up a lie make it a better than that. It was BROWN and WILTED. I got my money back — and went back to eat my nuggets when GASPS! they were NOT the spicy kind. I went back and asked the cashier. She said they were not selling it any more and took it upon herself to give me the regular one without telling me. WT… and then I took back my money and left for almost a good year.
2) Came back to give them a second try. They were selling Spicy Chicken Nuggets again and everything was good until one day I tried the drive thru. There was no line and i needed something fast. I ordered, paid, drove up and was basically tossed my food before they turned away, not caring, and mumbling «Have a nice day!» BEfore the girl could turn away I asked for a water (because I forgot). SHe gave me one and said something like. Next time ask when you order. It would help us be faster. I said okay. (I totally get it but still… its a little rude the way she said it and because when i looked behind me there was no one in the drive thru behind me) I then drove away and ate my sandwich had a piece of crinkly whiting red hair in it. Wt… FAIL
