Good place to stop and get a quick cup of coffee, definitely loads better than Starbucks. Staff is friendly, not much more you could ask for! They serve pretty standard coffee drinks, and a few breakfast items.

Based on their latte alone, and nothing to do with the word ‘java’ being part of the name, I won’t be returning. It wasn’t the worst, but when you are a picky ass like me you need a good latte and this doesn’t cut the cheese, I mean the mustard.

Good coffee and friendly staff in a comfortable environment. Definitely worth checking out and preferable over corporate coffee!

Great little coffee shop. I have been a few times and have been impressed each time by the personal service and friendliness of the staff. Seems like a family run business, and it may be. When I’ve been there in the morning there are what seem to be «regulars» sitting at tables and having a good time and even some who run in and out for a quick cup of joe are greeted many times by their first names by the staff. The coffee itself is pretty good. I won’t give it the highest marks because I’ve yet to find coffee here in California as I came across one time in downtown Minneapolis where they had the coffee roaster literally in the front window of the store. That place is called Dunbrothers. Sorry, but I can’t help but compare coffees. Planet Java has several locations around Fresno, so if you are in town and are searching for something a bit more inviting and personal you can’t go wrong. Oh, they also have pastries and make a few hot breakfast foods. They also make sandwiches. One small complaint is that they do not have WiFi.
