I agree with Michelle L about botox being worthless pocket change to him… I got the impressions that he didn’t even want to be there. This was my first time getting botox and Dr. Truong was extremely rude. He didn’t even bother explaining anything. He also gave me such a nasty look when i asked him a simple question about botox. He needs to work on his bedside manner. He also needs to learn to smile. Most doctors i meet are friendly and talkative but he came off cold with no personality. He made me feel very uncomfortable, like a pest that he couldn’t wait to have out of his sight.

Terrible experience! I went there for botox. Had to pay $ 100 just to see the doctor which would then go towards any service received. The doctor said about two words to me acting as if my botox was worthless pocket change to him. It was my first time there so I would have expected a «hello» or «welcome», but nothing. The women up front were nice, but he was terribly rude. Also, it’s been about two weeks and my botox is wearing off. I called and I was told I would have to pay more to come see the doctor again. Wtf!!! Don’t waste your money folks!

I was referred to Dr. Truong by my mother. She mentioned that he was pretty good, so I gave it a shot. I was nervous because, I have these moles on my face that I had removed once before from a different place but that didn’t work out because they came back. Doctor did a good job, looks like they’re not coming back for good this time.

Id like to begin by adding how wonderful the staff at FACES are. I find it extremely important when looking for a professional practice to have any kind of work done on yourself you’d want to be treated well.(as a certified MA) How the staff treats you says alot about the practice, that is what makes the visit comforting, trustworthy and enjoyable. The staff is who you see and communicate with right from the beginning. The staff at FACES were very caring, friendly, an professional I love how welcoming they made my mother an I feel made the process a lot more smooth and comfortable truly felt like home away from home.
My mom and I have had some work done by the wonderfully skilled Dr. Troung, such as fillers. I love how his work is so naturally beautiful and not over done or unreal. Who better to go to have dermal filler/​Botox injections done other than a specialized facial plastic surgeon!
Dr. Troung is a highly trained, certified, professional, an informative physician his awards & certificates in the office says it all! (You know your in good hands) His work really speaks for itself. I can go on an on but wouldnt want to spill all the goodness, You must see for yourself and enjoy the experience just as much as we did.
My mother an I are very pleased with our results an would highly recommend Dr. Peter Troung to anyone wanting to have on their best looking face.

Dr. Truong & the staff at FACES are professional & friendly. I was nervous about eliminating some ugly facial spider veins which I had for over 10 years. It was time I stopped hiding them. Dr. Truong made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. In less than 10 minutes, the veins were gone. There was little pain and some heat when the laser was applied. When I opened my eyes, only light pink spots remained; as if I was briskly rubbing with a facial scrub. I highly recommend FACES to everyone.

Overall:
I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Truong. Not only is he one of the most professional doctors that I have ever met, but he excels at his craft (I’m ecstatic about the results). There’s nothing more you can ask for than a plastic surgeon that specializes in facial cosmetics, that doesn’t rely on a nurse to perform injections, is a perfectionist and believes in continuing education (look at all the awards and certificates in the office).
Backstory:
Over the past few years, I noticed that I had developed some really large eye-​bags (2 in fact) under each of my eyes. Being that I am 25 years old, I hadn’t really considered fillers or surgery but I did start to look into products that would help minimize the appearance. Sadly, nothing really worked (I tried La mer, La Prairie, Chanel, Obagi, etc.).
After a while, I started to become irritated with the fact that my eye-​bags made me appear tired (even after a restful sleep) and older despite all my effort to improve my appearance. The tip of the iceberg was when I started really noticing them in pictures. I was worried that my eye-​bags would be distracting in my engagement and wedding photographs.
I started to research about products that can be injected under the eyes to reduce the appearance of dark circles/​eye-​bags (fillers). I also did some pretty extensive research on plastic surgeons in the Fresno area that specialized in facial cosmetics. I found Dr. Truong to be the most qualified because of his speciality, patient testimonies and his extensive/​impressive CV.
At my appointment, I sat down with Dr. Truong to talk about my problem and he suggested we use the filler Belotero. His assistance cleaned and applied a numbing cream to my under-​eye area and 20 minutes later he began injecting the filler: he would inject, step back to look at me, inject again, etc. When he was finished, he handed me a mirror and I could see that the improvements were immediately noticeable.
Following my initial appointment, Dr. Truong saw me again for 2 follow-​ups where he opted to inject a small amount of filler if he detected even the slightest hint of an eye-​bag; definitely not something any doctor would do for his patient.
Long story short, I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you Dr. Truong!

I’m not an overly vain person, I don’t even wear makeup or color my hair, I guess you could say I’m pretty granola; before this year I never would have imagined I would have cosmetic surgery, but I did and I’m thrilled with it! I had a severely underdeveloped chin, and while I wasn’t entirely fond of it, it didn’t make me hideous or really even bother me. Until… it turns out its not just other people that age and start to lose «elasticity». It started to look like I had a double chin and I’m not overweight. It was so unattractive to me, I just hated it, and I hated that I was spending so much time worrying about it. One day it occurred to me that I could do something about it, I started researching that day, and had an appointment made by the end of the week.
What to expect: 1^st visit-​consultation. Basically you sit down with Dr Truong and discuss what you’d like to change and he tells you what he thinks and you decide how to proceed. This is when you find out what the procedure will entail and the cost. You’ll also have photos taken and be able to get your medications now. 2^nd visit-​procedure day, you get to go home afterwards. Have someone to drive you, trust me. Plan for a few hours. 3^rd visit-​about a week afterwards, get sutures removed and check wound, doesn’t take long. 4^th visit-​about a month later, final photos, short visit.
At Faces, everyone greeted me by name and were sincerely friendly. They even remembered details of previous conversations, it felt very comfortable and warm. Basically the opposite of how you usually feel at a drs appt! The actual surgery, I chose to be awake for and took some anxiety and pain medicine beforehand. It wasn’t too bad at all honestly. I expected it to suck, but surprisingly it was totally doable. There is some pain and swelling for several days, but they tell you that beforehand and prescribe pain medication, which worked great for me.
I had my chin augmentation (implant) about 2.5 months ago now, and its perfect! The scar is a very thin line which isn’t visible unless my head is way back and has faded a lot already. I don’t have any numbness at all, which is awesome! I’ve always had some numbness after surgeries in the past and assumed it would be the same. Anyway, I am completely satisfied with the results and the process isn’t as scary as you think it is. :) I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Truong, he’s really amazing at what he does. I found it to be very reasonable in cost and it has been worth it ten times over to feel like my old self and be back to not thinking about how I look, and actually I look better now than I did when I was young!
