Hello all, P & J installed the shutters in my home many years ago. I needed a part to fix where my kids broke the operation of one of the shutters open and close function. I took the part I needed to repair the shutter to the warehouse and they provided me the new part at no charge. This place is Great.

Don’t use this company! I had an estimate and did not place the order at that time because I was surprised by the pricing. I thought about it and I called the office the salesperson did not leave a phone number. I told them I had a question regarding the quote. I was told by the office another salesperson would have to come out. So I made an appointment and another salesperson came out and said the pricing quoted was wrong(I had a written estimate) and added $ 119.00 to the price and crossed out the original estimate I had been given. The first salesperson at no time told me that the pricing was not valid if I didn’t order that day. The first salesperson did say the 10% rebate might not be valid but much more than 10% was added to my estimate. I will not recommend this company.

I was very pleased with the service. I needed blinds repaired. They sent someone out the next day. He was fast and helpful. And the blinds were repaired and returned timely. Great customer service! I would highly recommend this company.

Do NOT use this company. Repeat –do NOT call them. We had shutters installed recently. Immediately called to report that they did not open/fold back the way we had discussed. They required two hands and a foot to lift them to open/close.. Their representative, Donna, had come by where she had basically threatened to take us to court –absolutely NO solution to our problem. On the 5th time one was opened, it fell all to pieces and crashed to the floor. We called the offices. No response. No phone call in return. Sent a letter detailing the dates/chain of events, etc. Received a call today that our account had been turned over to collections. We have a pile of broken shutters, less than one month old. Read reviews from other locations. We live in Walnut Creek. There are MANY reviews just as bad as ours. DONOT deal with this company. They have a lousy product and no customer support.

Had an estimate but because I didn’t order that day the salesman didn’t call back. I called the company but the receptionist couldn’t help me or give me another salesman. After posting on Unilocal the sales manager called. I ended up ordering and we do like the shutters. It did take 8 weeks tp get them.

Right now we are not happy customers! The sales person gave us the day for installation of 7÷9÷14; business called today and said they will be arriving the evening of 7÷9÷14. Delivery date to install now needs to be changed. Took time off to have them installed. We wrote a check as a deposit for shutters and the sales person lost our check. We stopped payment on the check and wrote them another check and today I find out from Donna/General Mgr. they haven’t rec’d check. Check mailed out 6÷19÷14. I don’t feel too good about P&J Custom Windows Covering at the present time!

P&J installed our plantation shutters. The price was a bit cheaper than a competitor’s, but the salesman did not tell us, the entire shutter must be removed to clean the windows. My shutters close right only when I run my hand down the entire set. There is a «guarantee,» but I lost my receipt, so they will not honor it. Most companies record their installations, so that is just an excuse. There is also a charge, I think $ 50, for a technician to come out.

You take a great deal of pride in your home, so don’t settle for a company like Zblinds. I called them out when I bought a new home because I had heard of them and they completely screwed up. A few months later I saw an ad for P & J. I gave them a call and now my home looks great. They came in and uninstalled the garbage I got from Zblinds and installed the products I ordered from P & J for a great price. I couldn’t be happier. If I ever need window coverings in the future, my first and only call will be to P & J.

I have delt with them on 2 separate occasions and felt they were very reasonable and reliable. They installed plantation shutters and they look gorgeous! It was a small job– 7 windows– and I felt they treated me the same as someone who spent thousands of dollars.

In July 2011, I had window blinds installed. I noticed that the bottom three slats were creased due to the cord being wrapped around the blind coming from the manufacturer this way. Replacement slats have been ordered tthree different times(two times the right slats were not sent and I’m still wating for the third delivery!) and 7 months later I still do not have the blinds I paid for! They do not return phone calls. Yes, I’m dealing with Donna also: see the other review! Avoid this company as if they have the plague! And yes, I’ve notified the BBB! Next step: small claims court!
