Me-n-Ed’s Coney Island Grill

Just had my sons birthday party here. Hindsight is ²⁰⁄₂₀ and if given the chance, I would absolutely have had his party elsewhere. We spent almost 300 dollars on 15 pizzas and sodas. Every time we needed anything we had to hunt down our server because she never came to check on us. Nicole, the manager was rude in the booking of our reservation to begin with. From the beginning I knew I should’ve picked another spot so it is what it is. Wish I could say different.

We absolutely love this place food is always good so is the service we never had bad experience here kids love the pizza and the clam chowder bread bowl. Plus this is the only place I can eat my food in peace thank god to the arcade games

We went here for a bday party and I have no complaints about the food or service, and I do like that they have small private rooms if you’d like to have a party there. However most of their games are geared towards the older kids they really have nothing for little ones (even though prizes are geared towards little ones) plus there are no diaper changing tables in the restroom!!! I had to change my daughters diaper on the gross disgusting floor, my cousin had to do the same with her son!!! I can’t believe this is suppose to be a family place and they have no changing tables.

Atomic burger is great, Cobb salad is better than most, and the pizza of course is Fresno’s best! Friendly service, great atmosphere and great location.

Ok, lets start off with the question that’s on everyone’s mind… do they take coupons, the answer is no.
Any «Me n Ed’s» deal ($ 11.00 for a 2 topping pizza, or whatever promo price) will not be applicable to this location for dine in. That sucks.
The servers are extra nice here though. I’ve came here for several different events… only events, never just to seat down and eat as a family, and every time the servers were upbeat, accommodating and kind!
Bring your dollar bills!!! This isn’t chuck e cheese, their games are more than 1 token each game… and their prizes suck ass, but, the candy store selection is pretty cute.
The food, if you’re not craving pizza (this occurrence has never happened to me, but hey, maybe you don’t crave pizza every day) than they have «gourmet» hot dogs, salad, burgers and sandwiches.
They also sell beer, of course, their PITCHER of beer cost the same as a normal pitcher, but it is the size of a big gulp.
I know it sounds like I complained a lot, but, I still really enjoy their food, and atmosphere, layout and location. 4 stars Coney Island!

Came in for an snack/​dinner, nothing too fancy just a quick bite. Typical me n eds type food, its basically cheap fast semi good food. Fish and chips very greasy and the batter was thick and not crispy, I couldnt finish the second piece of fish, very heavy feeling after :/​Stick with the pizza if you are a fan of theres, i wanted to try something different off their menu. Chicken wings were not bad though from what my friend said when trying them.

For some reason, I think this is my favorite place to get pizza. Crust isn’t too thin and there’s a nice amount of cheese. I always find myself coming back here to get more. It’s a nice place to go with friends. I always order the olive, fresh mushroom and spinach pizza. I love that they offer ranch and jalapeños with the pizza, I think that’s partially why this is my favorite place to get pizza haha.

Always love the food at me and eds. Consistently delicious. Today, however, we find yet another restaurant that is NOT diabetic friendly, offering NO nutrition information whatsoever. Let them know how you all feel about this my diabetic friends.
BTW… This IS still an active California law.

is good to see a manager that cares about his place of business and try to take care of his customers. Since my review, I have seen the card and was pleased to visit the place again. Thanks again for making this right.

Not happy… Ordered clam chowder in bread bowl, hot wings, bbq ribs, with potatoes and vegetables
Dissatisfied
The chowder that I usually lust for… was… LACKING ((*bursts into tears) potatoes were mush, clams seem non existent, overall blah and worse it missing bread bowl and side of butter !! (I kno I should have checked order before leaving). Called to complain about missing items and left on hold… we live over 10 miles away, not like I was gonna drive back.
Wings were a C– at best, blue cheese side dressing gross, glad I had some in fridge. I polished off a brand total of 2 out of 7?
Ribs were tender with the main eater rating them at 6/​10, yea ok; Gravy for potatoes was missing, but they did come with a weird fishy dip… perhaps gravy stayed butter.
Won’t be going out of my way to visit, although not ready to give up on the clam chowder yet, I’m definitely not happy about this batch. Wings eh. Fail — — Guess that’s why there is a Friday’s and Wing Stop.

Oh my gosh. I’m sitting here as I type this update… waiting for my food! ONE pizza, it’s been over an hour. Ridiculous. Don’t come here!

This place is fine if you go in to eat, but the curbside service is horrible. I actually prefer the slices at the curb over the whole pizzas inside, but I won’t be going back for either. The workers at the curbside window are rude and slow. They seem more interested in socializing with each other than in serving customers.
I see that a number of other reviewers have similar complaints. Management should pay closer attention go what is going on out there.

Tried this restaurant today and it was okay. Service was on slow side lots of employees and no one in the restaurant. Food took a while to come although it was pretty slow I’ve heard good things about this place but for me it wash meh! Server was pleasant restaurant was clean. They had a few options of lunch specials. Pizza was okay, not Giordanos style Chicago pizzas for sure. Overall it was just okay.

I always get the single slices of pizza from the curbside stand. They’re my favorite! The cheese is very flavorful, the sauce isn’t too overbearing, & the crust is awesome!
I always refused to try the pizza from inside the Me n Eds restaurant because I was convinced that it’s gross. But I tried it recently, & it’s actually good. The crust is crispy, which I actually enjoyed, the pepperoni is slightly spicy which added good flavor. The sauce however, was way too acidic for me & they put way too much.

I am so happy to say coney island finally got new hostess staff! Yay guys! The wait staff has always been great and friendly. But the hostesses were bad for a long time. Glad to see smiling faces when I walk in to spend MY money at your establishment. :) thank you. Great food great service.

I had placed an order for delivery at the Me N Eds at Willow and Nees online. Their driver wrote down the wrong address and not only was it 2 hours late but when I verified the correct address, he then told me it was out of his range to deliver.
They then placed the correct order at Coney Island. I spoke with the manager there to express my disappointment. Nicole was so awesome. Not only was she patient with hearing my frustration and concerns but she helped me with speeding up delivery and offering a discount. Because of her I will only order from Coney Island from now on. Thank you, Nicole!!!

Food is always great to eat and never let me down. Recommend to anyone that has never tried it before to pass by.

It’s mostly a review of the curbside service.
They take way too long.
Every person that works at the window is always rude, and not smiling.
Literally, I have yet to encounter a smiling face, or pleasant attitude.
And for some reason when you order from the window, the food tastes weird. old maybe. Even though I have seen them put fresh pizza straight from the oven.
I ordered a corn dog, and after about 15 min of waiting, they gave me a corn dog. Except half of it was missing the corn– so it was mostly a hot dog. I asked how long it would take for a different one– the girl said 5 min, about 10 minutes later, I received my new corn dog. Looked better, but, I was so late getting back to work I just wanted to cry.
My co-​workers and I have given it chance after chance, and this last visit was enough for us to decide that we are better off elsewhere for a fast food lunch.
The workers just seem so angry, and that’s a bummer when you are trying to eat junk food for lunch.

Oh my word if I could give negative stars I would right now… I came here on my lunch and used the walk up express window to order my food… so I ordered the «natural» which is just a plain hot dog and an order of onion rings… I paid and all of that was fine… it wasn’t until the next customers stepped up and ordered two single scoop vanilla ice cream sundays and chocolate sauce. The lady at the counter charged them extra for the chocolate sauce… now I took a picture of the sign… no where on there does it say that there is an extra charge for chocolate syrup… and when asked about it she said… I dunno why there just is…
What the heck!!! Then after a very long wait my food finally came… the hotdog is dried up and hard… and the onion rings are soggy… I am just… disappointed.

Boyfriend enjoyed his slice of pizza. I’m a little more hard to please & to be frank, I like what I like & won’t eat anything just cause I’m Hangry. The windy city hot dog, for one, did NOT come on a poppy seed bun, & two, had no pickle spear. The main selling point of this whole hot dog actually. It was smothered in too much mustard & relish and the hot dog itself was skinny and tiny. Al I could taste was a mouth full of bun, mustard and tangy relish. YUCK.
It’s a good thing I ordered a side of fries with that. Fries were my saving grace and might I add, why do workers in this «line of work» always tend to give you that same look when you try and ask for more ketchup packets? Like fool, I ordered a whole side of fries & you wanna try and give me like 4 packets of ketchup?! End rant. I loves my ketchup with my fries.
Moral of this story is, don’t go to a pizza joint and order a hot dog. The End.

This is horrible. Been waiting for 20 minutes for my change.
Food took Forever to get here.
Our waitress was the bartender and she had to take care of the whole room. There are so many other people here, why couldn’t the tables be split up?
They gave us our clam chowder but no spoon.
Asked for a spoon tasted dish soap on one and the other one was fuzzy and dirty still.
Never coming back.
