For all the hype that I heard about this place it doesn’t live up to it at all. The food is nothing to brag about and for the price you would have thought it would have been a lot better. Save your money and go some where else to eat.

So my first impression of this place was decent. Its décor looked good. However its far from a good place to eat. I was one of the only non asain people eating at this restaurant and i waited over 20 minutes to get served a drink. It was frustrating me and my wife asked 3 passing waitresses for some ice water and they looked at me like they heard us and then just kept walking to help the other asain patrons. We didnt get a drink until my wife got so frustrated she went and confronted a waitress by the drink dispenser. The waitress expression was as if we just inconvenienced her entire day. Finally we got our drinks… the food looks good but is not. Once you take a bite its almost tasteless. The teriyaki chicken is breaded and the meat they use is bottom of the barrel with so much fat and tendon you have to spit half of it out. Rather disappointed. Dont eat here if your not of asain descent you will not have a good experience

Great Saturday lunch! Positive 4-Star from our Party of 10… Good food, helpful manager and the service was on-point for drink refills and availability. Oh, and Lin’s Fusion even handled a food allergy issue! Flavorful seafood dishes… Mussels, octopus salad, and a dish served on scallop shells were among favs. Mushroom chicken, spicy chicken… vegetable tempura… dim sum… all very good. Clean stacks of plates, clean and organized buffet… even sparkly clean chandeliers(yes, we do notice details!). Buffets are not my fav… and, yes, Lin’s Fusion is a buffet; and, unfortunately, there are people who can ruin that experience. One server wasn’t as good, she did send someone over that was helpful when needed… So, what could Lin’s Fusion do to deserve 5-Star? Just continue the consistency I’ve experienced the past times I have eaten here.

I’ve dined here plenty of times and I must say it’s probably the only best buffet in Fresno. The reason why I’m giving it a 3 star because the food does taste good compared to most buffets. I don’t want to come off rude but The only problem is the lack of English communication skills. The owner needs to hire workers that understands English so it doesn’t have to be so difficult. This place’s seafood dishes are awful and dirty compared the stir fried dishes. The mussels seriously needs some attention. They did not get rid of the weed plant. How can you guys serve this to the customers? I feel awful watching ppl eating this during my dine. I did not experience a good memorable time but it’s like a whatever type of experience.

Yesterday, we went to this all you can eat restaurant for dinner, with it being Mother’s Day, it was pretty busy. I thought we were going to wait for a long time, but, only waited about 10 minutes. I love how their service was quick! My thing was the fruit and salad bar. So much to choose from. I did have their steamed King crab, grilled sea bass, and a little bit of spicy shrimp(although I love it, spicy food don’t really settle with me). So good! The vibe I got from the staff was awesome. No hesitation of any sort to serve our drinks and refills. Not sure if it was because of the occasion yesterday but the price was a little on the high side. So worth it though. Didn’t want to over eat. So I made sure my tummy was empty, because everything they had looked really good! Wouldn’t mind coming here again with the fam.

It’s definitely the best Chinese buffet there is a lot of variety. I like the California rolls and the Dim Sum dumplings. I’ve been there many times because they are friendly there and they don’t rush you to leave like they do at Tang Dynasty. Only 3 stars because you can get better Chinese food but it’s the best buffet.

This is our favorite spot for eating out as a family. It has always seemed clean to me, and the servers are always friendly. The food is genuinely good and there is a lot of variety. They even have pizza for my picky as heck youngest son. I love the vegetables, sushi, and the dim sum. My husband fills up on crab legs, shrimp, and crawfish. It’s reasonably priced and I always feel I’ve gotten what I’ve paid for. My only wish is that we could refill our own sodas, even though the servers are always on top of that. We’ve only ever been for dinner, and we’ve never left unhappy.

The food and the variety of dishes were good. The dining room was packed, this was between 2:30 to 3:30. But the noise level was not uncomfortable, we could still have conversation without yelling. Overall a very nice lunch stop.

Definitely disappointed, the food isn’t the greatest at all. It just taste old, the place is dirty and for the price $ 37 for 2 people is just ridiculous especially when you’re food is nasty and the place is dirty. I tried to like the food but from my first plate(2 tempura broccoli and 2BBQ wings, that’s all that looked good) I was grossed out. To say the least I’m just disappointed, especially when I spent $ 37 dollars. Also, but typical for any asian business the customer service isn’t the best. I will NEVER return here & I would highly recommend A-STAR BUFFET if you’re looking for good food and a clean place.

Just your average Chinese food buffet. It’s one of the better ones in my opinion, but it’s by no means great. They do have a full bar if you’re into that. Compared to some of the other Chinese buffets in town they have a better selection of food and more dim sum items. They have stations for making you own udon/ramen and stir fry. They have crab legs during dinner, but you have to ask one of the attendant behind the buffet for them. I kind of like that feature because whenever you go to a buffet with seafood/crab legs, there’s always that ONE person who piles their plate endlessly high and takes it all. IT’S A BUFFET! You can go back! Don’t be THAT person. Nobody likes that person. They also have sushi that’s so-so. For the price, I think it’s a decent buffet. They do have a lot of seating. One time I came with a large group and we were seated in what I think was their conference room, but it was basically a narrow, really long hallway of a room with only one in/out and only room for one person to walk. Definitely don’t recommend that room. Like any buffet, there’s always that person or PEOPLE who will ruin it. It’s when being observant is a double-edged sword. You want to act oblivious because you don’t want to lose your appetite, but you also want to be well informed of possible contaminants. On my last visit I was seated in a booth near the desserts. One of the seemingly big draws of this place is their chocolate fountain, but I don’t touch that thing. If you’re at all just a little bit OCD, I’d suggest you steer clear as well. It’s so easily contaminated because it just continually recycles the chocolate. You CAN’T CLEANIT without turning it off and emptying it. While I was there one woman dipped her ice cream cone in it, but HELLO, turning your ice cream cone 90° isn’t very smart. Then again a lot of people lack common sense. Needless to say her ice cream fell into the chocolate fountain. I saw an employee just using a ladle to scoop out the ice cream. That didn’t make me feel any better even though I wasn’t partaking in the chocolate fountain. Sometime shortly after a family sitting next to the chocolate fountain saw a kid stick a utensil or something they had licked into the chocolate fountain and contaminating it. They tried to alert an employee, but they didn’t understand. I don’t think a lot of the employees here know English that well. Like when I went to get crab legs earlier, I asked a man behind the counter and he said something to which I have no clue of, but figured out what I wanted. Or when I was at the sushi part and a little girl was demanding to know where the croutons were and he looked confused so I told her. Anyways… someone else came to take the family’s complaint about the chocolate fountain. They finally turned it off(and probably for the rest of the night) much to the chagrin of other customers who came to visit the chocolate fountain. Some people even tried to dip their food into the pool of chocolate at the bottom even though the fountain was completely turned off. If the fountain is off, it’s probably for a reason, but people always do what they want. The buffet has signs around saying children need to be supervised and not go to the buffet alone, but you know that’s not gonna happen. Some parents don’t want to be bothered when trying to stuff their faces. That’s the other part of why people ruin this buffet and buffets in general. Children can’t always reach the counters and they don’t know proper etiquette. My brother was getting something at the buffet and told me he saw a kid use his hands to get some Jello and his mom was there but didn’t scold him or anything. She just made some comment to her son about still being hungry. Really?! People’s parenting nowadays really makes me shake my head. I guess it’s the tablets and smart phones fault for not teaching better parenting.

NEVER Coming back!!! We were here on 11÷1÷15 with my whole family. They sat us in a small, smelly, enclosed room. Food was ok but the following day all of us got extremely Sick, my two daughters were hospitalized for couple days due to food poisoning /dehydration. This place is overpriced for a nasty, Dirty Chinese buffet, It will be nice to have the health department inspect this place soon! Also, bathrooms are dirty and stinky!!! Not to mention the cashier been so rude and unprofessional! I noticed previous reviews mentioning they got sick as well, so I caution anyone going to this place to be careful especially if you are bringing kids!

I been to this place when they first opened and recently returned just because we were in the area and it was convenient. I have to say the branding and the interior looks really nice. Service wise, it is typical bad service at all asian places. The host greeted us which was nice but after that, it was the usual server that does not understand english. Dr Pepper and RootBeer was not comprehensible by our server; nor was the response of what drinks are available, after she asked what we would like to drink. Now our party is asian, and we can figure out most broken, accented english but come on! We all just settled with generic answers of coke and sprite to end the agony. For the rest of the meal she just hovered, watching us like a hawk but couldn’t even refill our drink. She did not even stop little kids from messing with the dim sum station. We stepped up and did so, not only because we hate annoying kids but out of courtesy since service was non existent whatsoever. We even got up to pay our check up front before leaving, but still gave her a tip out of pitty. Now as far as food goes, some items were edible while others were pretty run of the mill typical bad buffet food. I quickly got bored and stuck to the few fried items. The other people in my party were more adventerous and tried/filled-up on many of the offerings. The following day, many of us got extremely sick. We were out a couple days just to recover from food poisoning. I notice previous reviews mentioning they got sick as well, so I caution anyone going to this place to be careful. Well we did not stay long as this place was typical fresno chinese buffet. Considering most of my party fell extremely ill from food poisoning, I can assume it’s also the typical, dirty chinese establishment where their ideas of food safety is askew or non-existent. We never know what goes on behind the scenes. Too bad Fresno does not post grades on the windows. I will never return nor recommend this place.

Damn. i told myself i wouldn’t give chinese buffets another chance. I was hoping lin’s would be different, but nope. Don’t get excited about the crab legs. even with salt, pepper, and butter I still didn’t want to eat them. They tasted like water. if that makes any sense lol… dont expect much from the dim sum either… The shrimp dumplings are puny. they got tiny baby shrimps in them. The ice cream there tastes like sugar. theres more bad things I could say, but i dont want to sound more like an asshole. Anyways, go elsewhere. This chinese buffet is not worth it.

Just checked to see if their Unilocal check-in offer was still out there from 2013 and it was. I then checked to see how hard it would be to remove it and it was basically a click of a button. These people are keeping this offer out there and not honoring it. Ca’mon…it’s been 2 years since your coupon expired folks. Think about it… you think it’s better to lure folks in with a coupon you will not honor then blame it on Unilocal for not removing it vs. just running a restaurant with some integrity? Hey, up to you folks. Not looking good in my eyes. Someday Unilocal will remove the deceptive coupon but this review… it’s FOREVER.
