Went for lunch with my dear sweet mother. Terrible service. Seated. Completely ignored. No water, nothing. Had to wave to the server to come over. She apparently didn’t like that. Asked for water; wasn’t ready to order food yet. She went to the kitchen, stood by the door, and said loud enough for the restaurant (and my mother) to hear, «I hate assholes.» Wasn’t being rude, but that wouldn’t have been an excuse for her to do that anyway. Asked her to get the manager. Snarky, rude resonse: «Um, he’s busy.» Informed her I was a customer and asked again. She went to the back and told the manager who knows what. He came out. Explained above to manager. No apology. Said he would have to check the cameras to see what happened. Apparently he thought I just made everything up. Walked out of the restaurant. Spent my money at Asuka.
Because of the manager’s poor response, I’ll turn this bad review of Haha into an advertisement for its competition, Asuka. Check it out people. Underrated. Great service. Small and family-​owned/​operated, so better service. VERY CLOSE to Haha, so it’s just as convenient if you live in the area. Located at the Sunset Square Shopping Center, 7089 N Marks Ave # 108, Fresno. Try the Hamachi Collar. Amazing.

Come in to enjoy sushi, drinks and watch a game… Boss was too cool to change the channel from espn2 to ESPN on one of his 4 tv’s… Just lost out on a customer whose been here a few times since opening…

My boyfriend and I love this place for many reasons.
1. It’s close to home! We don’t have to travel too far (i.e. River park or Fig Garden) to eat great sushi.
2. Great portions and food.
3. Reasonable prices.
4. Amazing atmosphere, HaHa Sushi has a lot of space and TVs if you want to watch a game. Also, the sushi bar looks great with enough elbow room.
There are only 3 CONs, I would say is there lack of servers during peak hours & no waiting area prior to sitting at a table. Last weekend, we ordered take-​out worth about $ 50 around 6:30pm. The server on the phone said it would take 30 minutes. When we got there, she had our food ready but said we had to wait for something else. So we waited in the door way, off to the side. Then another server came up to us and said «For how many?» While waiting, there were about 2 parties waiting for a clean table, during the time two people left cause they weren’t being helped. Then 30 minutes later we got our food and headed home. My mistake, I didn’t check my order, they forgot my tempura and California roll that came with my dinner bento box. Lastly, they need a website with their menu! I can’t find their menu anywhere.
Summary: Great place on the West side but be careful during peak hours they are busy + ALWAYS check your order when you take-​out.

I have had the opportunity to dine here upon their opening and again a few times afterward. Never been disappointed. The SUSHI always fresh and the Bento Box lunches excellent.

Do not compare to Mr Sushi. It’s great in its own write. Should have happy hour (2piece) sushi menu. I’ve gone to a bunch of sushi restaurants in OC where that allows new patrons to test out without paying a fortune. Maybe 2−5pm M-​sat? Otherwise had a great time here, will come back.

Empty tables everywhere, but my family was told we could not sit because they were all reserved. No body was coming in! We were going to order food to go anyway and we weren’t planning on sticking around too long. We were told to stand by the door and order there. I don’t know how the food is here, but I bet it’s not as good as the restaurant down the street that lets my family sit down.

Love this place, finally a sushi joint in my hood! :) Louie is great and his sushi chefs are amazing and interactive, great customer service, delicious menu and cool atmosphere! Will keep coming back!

Very good looking place. I sat at the sushi and Sean served me. Food was very quick and fresh. Sean is a very experienced chef and customer service was top notch. I highly recommend you check out this place!!!

From the outside you think this place is going to be small and cozy. However you walk in and this place looks entirely different it is large, has a sushi bar, and the décor is amazing. They created an amazing atmosphere for sushi fans.
I went for lunch and tried the calamari tempura. Delicious! The pieces were good size and cooked perfectly. I order the booty booty roll and let me see roll. The booty booty roll is one of my favorites, and this place does the roll right! The second let me see was similar to booty booty. The inside was shrimp tempura, avocado, and crab. The top was seared scallops with what tasted like a Dijon mustard sauce. It was sweet but tasty.
The service was great she make and checked on us a few times made sure we were having a good meal. This place will be one of they new places to go. The only down side is they aren’t open on Saturdays apparently.

They tried to copy wassabi but failed. I ordered a booty booty and i couldnt eat it. No taste, the rolls are way to thick and it doesnt feel like ur eating sushi. I gave it few tries but it failed me.

Haha Sushi delivered tonight! First time here and we’ll be back once a week as long as the service and food remain as great as we had tonight! lol got a 9 from us… Hot Momma an 8… And kiss of fire was a 6… Loved it all! Shout out to our waitress Bri. She was great and made our first experience enjoyable!

I got some Booty! Lol literally, I ordered the Booty Roll and it was amazing. We also ordered the Vegas Roll and the Avocado Mango Roll, which was perfect. It was light and simple with good flavor.
Our 2 year old was having a hard time with her chopsticks and cried a little. The employees peeled an orange and sectioned it for her which she loved and it was just the right bite size for her.
We really enjoyed our lunch!!! Thank you Haha Sushi!

If you plan on coming here 30 minutes before they close just know you cannot go inside and eat in, you have to order to go.
I dont personally eat sushi but my friend had it that night and she said it was really good
The reason for my 4 stars is because i ordered the chicken teriyaki (i dont like sea food) and they served a small amount of food on a huge plate. The sauce they put on the chicken isnt even teriyaki it was more of a honey mixture and the chicken was over cooked and some parts were burnt. If they can not overcook the chicken and make a actual teriyaki tasting sauce it would have been alot better.
The ladies that work here wear small tiny shorts and tights t-​shirts. They all look uncomfortable in their uniforms maybe a different outfit will relax them and not make them look so unhappy working

My husband and I were pretty disappointed with the food. I ordered baked mussels and they had little burnt pieces around the edge of each mussel so no matter what you did, it ended up flaking off as you tried to eat them. Also, we ordered a roll with spicy tuna and tempura shrimp… But the rolls are SO big you can’t fit the whole piece in your mouth… Some places it’s not a big deal, you can cut the piece in half and still get a little bit of everything inside the toll, but not here. There was so much spicy tuna and one little tiny shrimp, it was disgusting trying to eat because you just get mushy tuna and rice… I guess what’s described to be inside the roll is just not proportionate. Trying to eat that mushy spicy tuna was awful. We have zero intentions to go back.
We ended up trying Asuka on Marks and Herndon and LOVED it.

The people who own this are the same people who own Mr Sushi 2 in Clovis. (NOT to be confused with Mr Sushi 1 in the tower district).
They are phenomenal. Their rolls are so unique, I have yet to find some place as good as them and I’ve looked.
If you need roll ideas, the spicy shrimp tempura crunch roll, John Q, orange blossom and let me see are all excellent and very unique.
We always order baked mussels and edamame. Their prices are excellent and the service is great.
People reviewed bad service, but I think they aren’t giving them any slack, they JUST opened in November and are still hiring and working out kinks. Don’t miss out on good sushi and awesome employees because of one bad time.
Also, to comment on the reviewer who said something about their «booty shorts» which I find funny. They can wear shorts or pants, their choice. The length is up to them.
Anyway, try Haha sushi. You won’t be disappointed.

It was around 50 degrees outside and all the women who worked there were wearing booty shorts and a t shirt. I don’t get the uniform. Is the owner trying to give them some sex appeal? I felt bad they had to wear that. It’s just plain stupid.
Sushi was decent. A lot of their rolls had similar names to WASSABI. Pimp daddy roll, OMG, you know just really dumb, out there names.
Salmon bento box was tasty. Would NOT recommend the yakitori. I’ve had pretty authentic yakitori and this one is just beef kabobs. Not good, meat was chewy even though it looked well cooked. And just don’t get it. Not worth the $ 5.95.
Overall place is okay. Would only, maybe come back for bento box out of convenience since it’s close to our house.

Loved the food the first time in.
Second time around walked in at 9:00pm and their sign says it’s open till 9:30pm. We’re told we can’t eat their because they were only doing Togo orders at the time. It’s ashame to send possible lifetime customers away :(especially if your a new business.
