If you are on a strict food budget, this store is for you. Lots to choose from, but mainly off-brands. The store is busy with shoppers so lots of people know they can save money by coming here. Check-out, even at a busy time, was quick and easy. The clerk was very kind in making sure the purchase was packaged as requested.

Grocery outlet is like a mix between foods co. and the .99. There are so many great deals here. but the selection is a bit off. You might find some brand name things at a low price but you’ll also find unique off brand products that are really worth trying. First off, it is not hard to find this place because it is right off of Blackstone and ashlan and the sign is huge. Second, you’ll find ample parking when you pull in because it shares the lot with some businesses that don’t bring much traffic. When you walk in you will be greeted with a friendly face. I always have been. The specials are all over and you’ll see as you start to shop, they’re everywhere! The store is clean but not new and that shows but it doesn’t have a funny smell or anything. They have a good selection of organic and gluten free products in the frozen and pantry sections. Their seeds, nuts and healthy oils are very inexpensive so I get my healthy stuff here! After searching all the other stores, I came here and found organic 100% açai juice for my smoothies! I also found a bunch of other goodies for half the grocery store price. They also have movies, shoes, beer and liquor, maybe some clothes too. I didn’t look to much in that section because I just came in for snacks. I would recommend grocery outlet because they live up to their name. It really is a bargain!

This grocery outlet may not be as new as the location on west shaw, but don’t let that discourage you from shopping at this location. This grocery outlet has one of the best beer especially craft beer selections I have seen at a grocery store. I mean WOW it puts the other location to shame with the amount of craft beer it sells. I love that it has all the other great products that make grocery outlet my favorite shopping location, with the selection of a specialty beer and wine store. Next time you drive by this location stop in and really give the spirits section some of your time. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Iwent to store the other day and was being followed by I believe were new employees… come on now I am not a thief and would not steal some old expired food product(s) anyways my shopping experience was not a good one so I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere … at a store where I am guaranteed fresher produce and quality food products… no expired packages on shelf which are still being sold at prices to fool the consumer into thinking that they are getting a good deal. BYMISTAKE I PRESSED2STARS when I feel they don’t deserve any. none.nada.zilch

Our family shops at this location often. I find great deals and actually find everyone that bags and checks very helpful. I have written a five star review before! I am the mom of our family and always come here before Costco and Whole Foods. I spend around $ 6 – 800 a month here. Tonight as we checked out, we had $ 155 worth of food, the man that rang our groceries was very sick. He obviously needed a tissue, as he wiped his snot dripping from his bright Red nose onto his hands as he touched all the food I would have fed my family. I was completely disgusted. I felt sorry for this man. I won’t say his name, but it starts with a C. I couldn’t believe that management would allow someone so Obviously ill to work. I decided to call the manager as I got in my car. Instead of Unilocal.I like this store! I wanted to be consoled, told that he would be sent home, maybe a sorry would have been nice. As I will take my groceries home a dowse them in Lysol and throw away the fruit and veggies he touched. Instead a lady answered, I was polite, explained what had happened. I asked for the manager, She said«I am the owner of this store.» She was rude, quiet and just said, «ok.?» Nothing else! Nothing!!! I didn’t ask for a return. I didn’t ask for anything. She was So rude! And she hung up. I won’t be coming back to the Ashlan store. I’m sorry to anyone else, including the poor employees. She is obviously a wretched person to work for. I will take my polite self and shop elsewhere.

I shop here first. The place is clean, returns are easy, employees are friendly, and oh, the prices! You simply cannot beat the prices at this place. Down sides: check the expiration date before you buy, if you plan to use something in the next week it’s not a problem. They don’t accept Discover, and the bread isn’t usually fresh and they don’t have every product that a regular store has. But I shop there nearly every week. They have house wares, cleaning supplies, toys, gift wrap and cards, it’s not just canned food, people!

Simply the best prices! I easily save $ 40 to $ 50 a week on my groceries. The staff is friendly and it has a small grocery store feel. I find items I’ve seen in the more expensive grocery stores for much lower prices.

I enjoy going to this Grocery Outlet. It is fun looking around and finding good bargains(or spotting the ones that aren’t). The freezer items can often be a good deal. The cheeses are good price. It is hit or miss in the dairy section. The canned foods and shelf stable items have surprisingly good selection and usually good price. Only place I have found Jhirmack shampoo. The seasonings are good price. I can sometimes find good price on drinks like soda.

Inexpensive good quality food. I didnt have any issues with my purchase. I enjoyed my rice krispie treats, white cheddar cheez-its and Hormel chicken dumplings, yes all name brands! I will be returning again.

Grocery Outlet has become my go-to place for WINE! An ever changing selection lands here; just as most of the items sold here, you never know what will be there. Picked up some gems from Sterling Vineyards and BV. Have fun buying a bottle or two from an unknown winery and Googling it to find out that it really does retail for $ 24 and you just paid $ 5.99 After stocking up on 10 bottles, I loved getting my receipt and they announced«you just saved $ 200» and I know that I really did!

Since they emerged from the 70’s as «the Canned Food Outlet,» I’ve shopped at Grocery Outlets. This one seems to be the best, with bargain prices for great products, friendly employees, easy access to Hwy 41& decent hours. Be sure to look online for a Grocery Poutlet when you travel, they’re all over California and the West.
