DO NOT GO HERE! They use MMA! MMA Is very dangerous and damaging to the nails! I found out the hard way after going to my usual nail salon and soaking them off, only to discover they used MMA. If you’re not sure of your nails are MMA, soak them in acetone, and if they become slimy, it’s MMA.

I have had my nails done a few times by Helen and each time I have been happier and happier she is great with suggesting colors and takes her time to do the job right…

T did an awesome job on my pedicure. She did very pretty art work that matched my nails. I will always be coming here! Thank you.

I got acrylic nails w/​gel done here today and I was very happy to see how many color choices they had in the gel polishes. However, a small crowd started to come in right as I sat down to get my nails done and I could tell the woman doing my nails was getting flustered. She started jumping from person to person to finish people’s nails to clear spots, she even went from doing someone’s toes to touching my hands to put the final gel clear coat on (yuck!). The people here are very friendly but they need to stick with the client they started and not rush, I think my nails would have turned out much better had she taken her time. I love the color on my nails but the acrylic is very thick and she didn’t bring it all the way down to my cuticle so it looks like I’m already in need of a fill (mind you I’ve had them less than a day). Not very satisfied, I’ll be trying a new place.

I used to love City Nails, most of the people that work there are so sweet. This last time I went my experience was not so great. I always get the gel mani and pedi. The pedicure was amazing that’s why I have 3 stars, but the manicure lady seemed like she didn’t even want to help me. Usually the older lady with short hair helps me and her polish lasts me over a month, I have to take the polish off myself and she’s is so sweet! The lady that helped me was younger, with short hair, I had never seen her before. She didn’t even say a word to me, despite me telling her I wanted my nails straight, she made them oval, and she didn’t even put the polish on my entire nail! It’s only been 2 weeks and my gel has already chipped off by itself. I will probably give them one more chance before I stop going there.

I love this place! I’ve been looking for a regular nail shop to go to and I found it. Helen does my nails and both times I’ve left very happy. Plus I get many complaints on my nails afterwards, and the staff is very friendly. When I go I get acrylic with gel and pay $ 30 which is a very good price in my eye.

The first time I went I got gel polish on my nails and toes. The total was $ 30 so it was pretty inexpensive. The lady that did my nail polish was really sweet. Her name starts with a T.
The polish lasted me about 3 weeks, but it didn’t look that great. I decided to give it another try because they customer service was great. The second time I just got gel polish. It hasn’t lasted me even two weeks and it’s already lifting and chipping. It’s only $ 15 so I guess you get what you pay for.
I will not be returning. I rather pay more elsewhere and have it last me longer.

Employees have incredibly rude attitudes, besides that my nails look rushed threw, different sizes and shapes, I explained to the employees that I just wasn’t happy with my nails and they simply didn’t care unless I was willing to pay if I wanted it changed, so once I payed for they change in my nails, they still where different shapes and sizes, the employees had rude vibes, my white gel coffin nails (I wouldn’t consider them coffin nails based on the look) ended up being 85 $, at that point I was irritated and unhappy with my nails, I just paid my dues and left, definitely wouldn’t go back.

I love the shape. My daughter got gel nails and I got a full set of with almond shape and gel polish. We are both happy. The lady helping me was pleasant. Not overly chatty which is fine with me. The man doing my daughters was nice. He was gentle and nice. It was quiet which was nice. Probably because we went early. Overall happy. I plan on going back. The prices are fair too! I believe the girl who did mine was named Helen.

My pedicure was fast and lasted a longer than any other I’ve had yet. They took my larger group with only a 15 minute notice. Very nice and professional.

Love this place! The best at good gel nails! They stay nice for 3 weeks! Everyone is so friendly and the place is quiet too not like Queen Bees.

Saw this place while getting costco gas, and thought I’d look into it. I’ve had a tough time finding a place that does decent nails unless I want to spend like $ 50 – 60 bucks. Super nice people but my appointment was for 5:30pm… Didn’t get sat until 6. A little annoying but hey, I saw another girls nails on here «Amanda L.» And wanted mine just like that. I asked for a full set with gel polish.
Anyways… Because she used two colors of gel polish (the pink with sparkles) she charged me an extra 5 dollars trying to count the sparkles as a design… To me it’s silly because she just dropped a dot of the sparkle and pulled it around on the nail trying to make it a little messy on each finger. That is NOT a nail design… Not to mention I asked for thicker acrylic but some nails are thick, others are thin. It looks awful. My nails were all filed weird on the top so at an angle my nails look like they slightly curve up, and some even look like little bumpy hills… The worst part is after only a WEEK… ONE WEEK… I need a fill. Nail Studio charges less for nails, they last forever, but they are just slightly limited on designs. I will not be back to this place, and I strongly recommend to look elsewhere before settling for a place like I did.

Just went in for a quick gel polish change and ended up getting underarm wax, very clean shop and professional and pleasant experience. What I really appreciated, was the fact that they didn’t try to up sell !! I will be going back for a pedicure. While I was there, an older gentleman and a few friends came in for his“monthly” pedicure all the way from San Diego! :) they must be good!

Excellent experience here! So friendly, went with some family for my wedding. Had a regular pedicure, great massage and color. Also got a gel manicure, they were meticulous and very caring about my nails. They treated our group so great! The massage chairs worked wonders on my back. The shop is small, with about 6 chairs; but very very clean. I highly recommend this place.

Okay well, I heard about this place from a girl who worked at Sephora & her nails were sooo nice. So being that I’m always looking for a good place to do my nails in Fresno I decided to check this place out. I went in for a pedi, full set & a wax. And I have to say that the only thing I was ok with was the pedicure. 1^st off let me say that this is a very clean salon & that’s a big plus for me. The people working there are also really nice but their work is really not that good. First I got my pedicure and I was fine with it. After that I got my lip and eyebrows waxed. I’m suuuuper picky on my eyebrows & told her that all I wanted was a clean up & a slight arch… She completely thinned then out. Then she went and waxed my lip which she did horrible at she completely burned my & the side of my lip was competition scabbed. I can’t even begin to explain how bad it looked. Afterwords we went on to doing my full set. I told her I wanted them thin & narrow which of corse I didn’t get. My nails came out looking just completely ugly & I hated them. I won’t be going back here. I’m only giving 2 starts because of it’s cleanliness.

I got to spend some quality time with my cousins back home in Fresno. There’s not much to do in Fresno except go to the movies, go shopping, or go to the nearby Indian casinos. We decided to do the mall but also to get our nails done before we hit the awesome club scene that night.
My local cousin suggested a new Asian-​ran salon in a little strip mall in the Riverpark area. I’m all for anything brand new (more chance of a clean environment with working massage chairs). It was a big, open, clean, minimally decorated space with 6 spa pedicure stations and 6 manicure stations. They had 3 customers and 3 staff working when we walked in. I think we waited for about 5 minutes. Excellent service for being a walk in on a Saturday afternoon. I was happy with my $ 30 mani/​pedi, which took about an hour. Staff were all friendly and accomodating. It was also a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. No loud banter among the staff or the other clients. Definitely appreciated that and would go again next time I’m back in my hood.
