If you want to rent a washer/​dryer or refrigerator hassle-​free, I definitely recommend Appliance Resource.
I’ve been meaning to write about Appliance Resource for a while because it’s been a smooth experience. For 29 dollars per month, the helpful people at Appliance Resource delivered and installed a washer and dryer unit (free delivery and install), set it up to make sure it worked, and left without a hassle. They were on time and didn’t scuff the walls. You can see in the pic the laundry room set-​up; they had it all up and running in about 15 minutes. The prices for renting a washer and dryer range from 20 dollars to 39 dollars a month; refrigerators are 35 dollars a month. Over the last several months, the washer and dryer performed well – they were both large capacity and efficient. I do have one issue with the service here; they only allow payment via post and check – there is no online billing or credit card payment without a fee to run the credit card. Also, I think you have to do it over the phone. The late fee for payment is 15 dollars. So it’s somewhat of a pain to have to use a stamp and write a check every month in 2015, but it’s worth it for good service. I should also mention that there is no long term commitment needed.
