Aamco operates as a front as car repair but in reality is entreprenurial crime taking advantage of consumers who don’t know about the mechanics of their vehicle bureau of automotive repair should work quickly to shut down the Amco on Gates Avenue they are shame to society they operate with no integrity they do a poor job and they are happy to steal from consumers with little regard for the consequences on the individuals lives I have personal experience with it what are you going to do call the policeit’s a civil matter if one person is held by my story and does not get ripped off then my experience with Amco on Gates Avenue is not in vain

do not trust. they will take your money and will leave your car in worse shape than u brought it in. they do not care about the customer only about robbing you!!!
update:
Aamco refuses to give me a refund on the «transmission job» even though it’s been ONLY 1 month and the transmission they supposedly put in isn’t working! my car doesn’t even go past first gear now. BE ADVISED THESE PEOPLE WILL ROB YOU BLIND AND THEN ATTEMPT TO JERK YOU AROUND UNTIL THE 60 DAY WARRANTY ON THE TRANSMISSION EXPIRES AND YOURE LEFT WITH NO OPTIONS.
I will continue to update this review to warn anyone else about the shady practices of this business.

Did a good job rebuilding my transmission but… when first told of all problems related to fixing transmission they said transmission fluid line was leaking. They didn’t include fixing that problem for me when it was examined. I was under the assumption that was to be fixed? It relates to transmission ?? They didn’t even bring it up during payment before starting work ?
Oh you want that fixed also?
Yes please!!!
After its done it’s now brought up before picking up? Oh .but bring it back and we’ll do it? Now have to drive it with leaking trans. fluid?!?
Make sure they fix all related problems people.

What a helpful shop. My customer broke down close to this Aamco. Arman the manager has been totally been pleasant and excellent with communication both with my customer and me. Since I am paying for the transmission there are two customers involved.
Knowing they will carefully inspect their work since my customer has to drive back to the Bay Area really puts me at ease.

My boyfriend and I both have spent over 1000 dollars in are cars being repaired here we both have saved up as much as possible and spent so much hard earned money and the company was not honest and employed mechanics who were obviously using. I had to redo everything they fixed as well as damage they did while trying to repair my car not a trustworthy company! I have yet to find a great mechanic’s shop any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
