The most perfect little breakfast/lunch place in kingwood! Definitely a great family feel, especially with Katie as my server! I’ve never had a complaint about anything here. And it’s byob!

Every time I go here, there is something new and delicious to try. Home baked biscuits are great for breakfast. The grown up grilled cheese was amazing. I like that they make different kinds of salads to taste instead of only offering French Fries with everything. The manager told me that there is a new menu coming out soon with the addition of specialty tacos and burgers. I am glad I get to work down in this area often because its a lost art: the home cooked roadside American café!

i have to admit the food here is very good. its typical road side americana diner style but its always delicious. my wife and i have been here multiple times now and EVERYSINGLETIME the owner(or manager — or maybe ginny herself ?) is so unbelievably rude. we have experienced the exact same thing the review below experienced. she has now seen us and recognized us as return customers and acts like we’re the worst people in the world. the other thing that makes us really uncomfortable is that she reprimands the wait staff(who i think are usually very sweet) right in front of the entire restaurant. if this woman is the owner then she could at least muster up a smile and some eye contact. now that jimmys and dillys is open i’d much rather give them my business for ice cream and burgers.

I’ve eaten here a few times and it was always ok, but it has been awhile since I had been back. The food is ok– nothing to write home about. I’d say breakfast is really good, although messing up breakfast is hard. The reason I am giving this place a 2 is because my last visit was so uncomfortable. I was there during an off time and I sat up at the counter. I was happy to see that breakfast was served all day and my waitress was very nice, but there was another employee there who was either the owner or some sort of manager. She never acknowledged me. She counted receipts right in front of me, she talked about the schedule with the waitress right in front of me, but she wouldn’t look my way, smile or say anything. It made me really uncomfortable to be that close to someone and have my entire presence ignored. That woman actually brought my food out and I thought it was her chance to redeem herself. She handed the plate to me while looking elsewhere and never said a word to me. The waitress did check on me and she was very pleasant. When I went to pay the woman was standing there with the waitress and I said goodbye and the woman just kinda looked blankly toward me, as if to say, «Will you just go now so I can continue my conversation with the waitress?» and never said a word to me. My breakfast was very good, but the dining experience was so uncomfortable and unprofessional(mind you this person that seemed to have a higher position is the person that was unprofessional, not the waitress) that I don’t think I will be heading back there any time soon. The awkward, unpleasant experience completely took away from a good breakfast.

A great family friendly place anytime of day. We frequent there often and always have a great experience. They serve breakfast anytime of day which my family loves. The food is freshly made and delicious and even if it’s not on the menu if they have it they will make it.

Typical dinner food, with typical rude uneducated dinner waitresses. Limited menu. Outrageous prices! Waitresses gossip about other locals within earshot of customers; trashy and unprofessional. Save your money! Go elsewhere!

I bought 3 small ice creams and one with sprinkles and was charge over fifteen bucks. I asked if that was correct and was told«yeah». We have eaten there also the food is ok. Driven nuts every time when I try to pay because the employees aren’t allowed to use the register. We do like the Sunday car show

This is my second time coming to Ginny’s and for the second time I have been disappointed. The first time that we came I bought ice cream cones for myself and three sons. All four ice cream cones melted or fell off the cone within 5 minutes because the lady explained the machine had been malfunctioning and the ice cream was very soft. I had spent $ 20 only to have 3 disappointed children. Even though I was not offered new cones for the kids or a refund I decided to give Ginny’s a second chance because, as a local, I prefer to give business to locals. I went into the restaurant today because after ringing the bell for food and waiting for over 5 minutes no one came, not even to tell us to hold on. I went inside and waited in line for another 10 minutes me to be asked asked to move to another line, by the icecream window where we originally were. The woman who served I seemed annoyed that we were in the wrong line and was very unpleasant, not to mention $ 3.21 for a kiddie cone with sprinkles is outrageous.
