Tonys Painting & Remodeling

I purchased a home that needed some work. Based on the Unilocal reviews, I gave him a call.
Tony installed laminate flooring throughout our house, remodeled the bathroom and painted the inside.
He’s very knowledgeable and we are really happy with his work. Thanks Tony!

Very unreliable and unprofessional. Missed his first appointment to give an estimate, but I let it go, and he came the next day. Thought he was gracious and friendly then. Agreed to his estimate with no haggling, and set up a start date for the next week. Called to confirm midweek. Only after several calls did he call back to confirm. Then again called him and texted to find out how much paint we needed. No response. Called the day before he was to start, and again no response. The guy DOES NOT pick up the phone apparently. And of-​course, at the agreed, confirmed time and day, no show. Save the trouble and call someone else. I mean if you don’t want the job, or are too busy to do it, just say it up front and not waste my time for 10 days thinking that you are going to do it.

Tony came out twice to give us estimates for a few jobs. He seemed friendly and enthusiastic. However, after we ordered the materials, he disappeared. Why bother wasting his and our time working on the estimates if he didn’t want to do the jobs?

I was told the job would be complete in four days. Two weeks later it was complete.
«Tony» was not there five of the days. His assistant/​relative John was alone to do the work.
John was incredibly messy and got paint all over my fan, light fixtures, floor, and door knobs.
I had to make many phone calls to Tony asking him when he was going to show up.
I finally took a day off work to go to the house and see what was going on.
I believe that Tony lied on the phone a few times to my parents and myself about being at my home when he wasn’t.
Overall, the job got done and looks a lot better than it did before. So if you want the cheap guy and aren’t in a hurry, then Tony and John are nice guys and you might like their work. But if you are a neat freak, are on a time schedule that isn’t flexible, and don’t mind paying more, then you should hire someone else.

I can’t recommend Tony enough. He is detail oriented, an incredibly hard worker, positive attitude and very competitively priced. He painted my house on schedule and even took care of a few extra tasks on the side.

Tony is really responsive and has excellent availability. He did an excellent job on my front door. He went above and beyond by adding more coats of paint to make it look extra good. I highly recommend him.

We needed help with putting up bunch of frames on the wall which was tricky because we had to think about lot of measurements and the frames had wires in the back. He did everything all by himself with so much perfection in so little time that it blew me away. He also put together linen closet for us which looks great.
He was very good about answering our questions we had about other things we were putting together in the house by ourselves.
After trying his services, I can never go back to any other handyman. I would highly recommend Tony if you are looking for a person who can do your work with perfection for the fraction of the cost.

Tony did a great job painting our house and we are very pleased with his work. He responded to my call very quickly unlike other painters. We picked all the colors and asked for double coat, his quote was the most reasonable out of a few that we looked into. He did not leave any mess on the floor and finished all the work on time. Other than painting, he also fixed my room window screen. I am very glad that I was able to find such a hard working and professional painter. Thank you Tony!!!

We asked Tony to paint our home which had very high walls on the side of the stairs and also the living room had many windows. With more windows there was a lot of fine cutting which needed to be done and we were doing dark coloured accent wall in a lot of places. Darker colour has less coverage and requires more coats. Tony did a fabulous job in painting our home. He is very disciplined, patient and hard working. He didn’t slack for a moment and did a beautiful job with our home for a very reasonable price. His edges along the wall are perfectly clean and he applied 3 coats just to make sure that colour is even all over the wall. He would clean up before he left for the day and also made sure that he didnt make us buy excess paint at any time. He was meticulous in his work! I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for someone to paint their home. I am going to recommend his great service to all my friends.
