The biryani is probably the best in the area. Spicy and definitely unique Hyderabadi style. Authentic and tasty Indian food(Hyderabadi and Andhra cuisine) at reasonable prices. Try the lamb and chicken dishes. The snack items(esp.the cut-mirchi) seem to be local favorites. The location is not quite accessible since it is inside the India market grocery. But can’t complain given the price point and the great taste!

I first learned of Andrea Bakes in 2006 when Andrea Vernetti made my wedding cake. Almost 10 years later, people still rave about the moist, rich, delectable cake that was served that summer day. But many pastry chefs can make a memorable cake. The thing that sets Andrea Bakes apart is her uncanny ability to take a picture of something and turn it into a piece of edible art. Whether it be a four-tiered San Francisco 49ers cake for a die hard fan or a Star Wars themed cake complete with miniature Yoda on top, Andrea’s execution of your vision is always on target. There is no occasion she can’t tackle. A few years ago, I recommended Andrea to a friend whose parents were celebrating 50 years of marriage. Andrea took a blurry, grainy photo of a cake from the early 1960s and duplicated their original wedding day cake with precision. Sometimes here cookies and cakes made for children are so elaborate they don’t look like they could possibly be made of sugar, flour and frosting. From snacks like mirchi bhajji to main courses like Biryanis, spice palate leaves you fully satisfied. Must try is the Irani Chai that takes you back to your homeland in India. Can except authentic Indian food at a very reasonable price for the quantity they provide. The menu always gets creative and impressive. Great delivery services and the team is very friendly. I strongly recommend their catering services, it feels awesome when all your guests leave your home fully satisfied and appreciating the delicious food they had. Good luck team spice palate and keep up the good work.

Tasty food, perfect price, on time delivery. What else do you need. I have been ordering from them for a year now. have my office in Milpitas and stay in Sunnyvale and they deliver to either place even if it is last minute notice. They don’e even charge the delivery fee. I hope they continue the same going ahead.

I came across spice palate last Saturday while stepping out of the store, yes while stepping out. I was under the impression that it was managed by old management and I did not even bother to look at the counter because the food before tasted awful… just before I left the girl at the counter handed me a sample of Pani puri so thought let me give it a shot… I went back to give my feedback to say it was good and being from the South and that too Chennai I came across Mirchi Bhajji(Milaga Bajji) and I went for it. I must say its I was taken back… very authentic and seemed exactly like the one my Mom made… When ever I go back I will definitely order it. Best part the billing counters are separate and I liked that.
