San Anna’s downsized and moved over to military. They still have the great cheese dip and their Mexican offerings are still pretty decent sized. I find there pizza to be pretty generic and Ok. I wouldn’t choose it for that. Its pretty doughy for how thin it is. Mixed reviews on the service. Had more good than bad but when its bad, its REALLY bad. We’ve waited an hour for our food a couple of times. Glad its still around but its OK

Very pleasantly surprised with the whole. I got the conquistador(a chimichanga) with carnitas pork, refried beans, and cheese, and a cream sauce on top. Plus a dollop of guacamole on top of that. Generous portions, no flavors that really stood out, but very well-crafted. Perfectly fried tortilla. I also tried some of their pizza. It earns 5 stars. The perfect ratio of lots of cheese, not too much sauce, and a nice thick soft crust. Fantastic all around! Salsa and chips are extra.

OK Nebraska… Chili and Chile are two different foods. Chili is what you eat in a bowl, maybe with a side of cornbread, not what you put on top of Mexican food. That’s just weird. Otherwise, the food is ok here, just not exciting.

Ambiance is about a three but the staff was a solid four and the food was a five. I haven’t eaten here in many years and was glad I stopped in. My wife got a taco salad that was pretty large with lots of meat. I opted for a taco pizza which was easily the best in Fremont. I’m going back again soon.

This place is amazing. Disappointed that they downsized so much, but I understand completely. They have the best cheese dip that I crave whenever I come back to town. I recommend the taco pizza if you are getting a pie, or the chicken fajita if it’s just for you. Cheese dip is a must.

Tamales are good. The blackened fish taco and chicken fajita are good. Try the guacamole. Excellent

We stopped in for a quick Dinner and we were not disappointed. We had the combo and it was loaded with toppings and cheese, service was good and the food was out in a reasonable amount of time. I’ll be back when I am in Fremont again. Upgrading to 4 stars have learned to stick with their version of a junk(Combo) pizza and have not been disappointed

What ISN’T to love about this place? The food is amazing, and the portions are huge. My favorite is the half and half dip(beans/cheese), and their pizza is to die for. Their chips are made fresh daily and you won’t be able to stop eating them. Definitely the BEST place to eat in Fremont.

Really nice staff! The atmosphere is very hole-in-the-wall dive, but be adventurous and read the special board! Have been several times and have always enjoyed their daily special«concoctions!» Authentic Mexican food? Nope. Tasty, Nebraska take on Tex-Mex? Absolutely! Proprietor is always willing to accommodate. Good food. Good value. Try the barbeque chicken pizza. personal fav. My wife loves the«snacks» chips, cheese, beef and a little salsa(sweet not spicy)

Really, the name says it all. They were helpful on the phone when we asked about vegetarians(refried beans are lard-free; enchilada sauce has meat in it). Unlike most places that say«no substitutions,» they appear to mean it. If you want chips and salsa, you’ll have to order them as an appetizer. The cheese dip is the classic Velveeta type. I had the cheese enchiladas with the green tomatillo sauce, which is basically chopped tomatillos and onions. The cheese wasn’t melted inside. My companion appeared happy with his bean burrito, ordered«with Mexican favorites»(beans and Spanish rice). Generous portion sizes. Margaritas and daiquiris available; the virgin strawberry daiquiri is OK. Separate kiddie menu if the kiddies must have mac and cheese instead. Basically the Midwestern interpretation of Tex-Mex.
