Quiet, cute spot to go to! Great service and good food. Recommended for anyone who loves pasta! Their truffle sauce is amazing!

We went today for the 2nd time, the food is excellent. Best minestrone soup, we also had lasagna and cannelloni and all were good. For desert the chocolate mousse was great and even the espresso.

We came here with my mother in law looking for a quiet and yummy dinner. We found exactly that. The meal was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a nice quiet conversation. The food was lovely as well. For appetizers we had melon and prosciutto and the antipasti plate. Main courses were Marsala, chef tortellini and spaghetti. All delish. Pans Cora is to die for. Yum.

After being here a few times, this place has become a go to for our family on some special occasions. The food here has never disappointed and the staff has always been really helpful. They have a number of specials each time we’ve been here and I haven’t had anything that I don’t like. If I had one complaint, it would be that the place is a little small and can get crowded, but other than that this is a wonderful little Italian restaurant.

Surprisingly good. We came once several years and and enjoyed our meal, but we feared the place might go out of business since hardly anyone was there. Coming back on a Friday evening tonight, most tables were full. The food was very good, despite relatively low prices. Service was a bit slow, but not unusually so for a nice Italian restaurant. Ambiance is quiet and cute. We will definitely be back soon.

Food was ok, ambiance was really nice, bread was a bit dry, on this particular night the restuarant was a bit warmer than I liked. Overall though I would go there again for comparison.

This restaurant is amazing! I highly suggest coming here for the delicious food. I had calamari and insalata il porcino. Both really exquisite dishes. The management is amazing too.

Surprise find! We were in the neighborhood last Saturday night and was quickly checking on Unilocal where to walk in for our dinner as we din’t do any special reservations anywhere earlier. My Husband found this place and we wanna to try it out as it was quite a long time since we had Pastas! It was not a full house, so no wait time issues. Liked the pleasant ambience with many portraits & photo frames hung in the wall along with Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci’s best known piece Mona Lisa. Attendant ‘Armando’ did a great job serving us attentively with useful and welcoming suggestions during the meal. Food was delicious including the complimentary breads and it’s garlic-balsamic vinegar side. We ordered one of their AntiPasti ‘Pepperoni Arrostiti’ as a starter and two of their Primi Piatti as our main course. # Complimentary serving — The balsamic vinegar and olive oil mixing with small chunks of garlic was just a perfect side to the soft and crunchy breads. Very generous serving, served us twice. # Pepperoni Arrostiti($ 9) — This was an instant hit. Impressive presentation style and the taste of roasted bell peppers, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil dressed with extra virgin olive oil was fantastic. # Fettuccinne Con Alfredo(made to Veg, costs $ 16) — It’s usually served with sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli & chicken, but we just had it without chicken. The cream sauce dressing was flavorful and scrumptious. This is a definite count on. # Gnocchi Fiorentina($ 14.50) — This has creamy potato dumplings with gorgonzola cheese. Again a score, had it with great satisfaction. This is a small sized spot, yet can accommodate 1 large group of 8 to 10. It’s bit pricey, but excellent food. Seemed family friendly and is located in between a line of restaurants, right next to Indian cum Pakistani dine-in Shalimar. The parking lot is small, but it was not hard for us to find a good parking space in the vicinity of Ristorante Il Porcino. Willing to try their menu more!

I love the decoration in the restaurant. Food was okay. Bf ordered the clam and mussel linguini. He specified the order to be free of mussels. The waiter bluntly asked WHY. The food was good. Although half the clams served in the linguini were closed. And the funny thing is that they were arranged in a way that would be hard to miss for whoever did the arranging. After eating, we waited for our waiter to pick up the check. It took him forever to get our check, even though the house wasn’t full. The staff was standing in the kitchen, wiping wine glass. We has to walk up to them to pay the check. We know we will be treated better elsewhere.

Great food, great service, great ambiance! This is our new favorite spot in Fremont. Not cheap but definitely high quality, authentic Italian food. My husband and I came for a date night and we had the portobello in a cream sauce as a starter and he had the mushroom fettuccine and I had the lobster ravioli. It was all delicious. So happy we found this place! Def coming back!

I think I agree with the others that the price is a little steep. Some dishes you don’t get the value and feel kinda ripped off, but other dishes give you a generous portion. So it is very hit or miss in terms of value. However, the food quality is really good. It taste more like home cooked grandmother’s kitchen Italian fare than your typical chain Italian restaurant. Food is flavorful without being too salty and we enjoyed every dish we’ve had here so far.

This place is adorable the service is excellent! The place is small and fills up fast, I think it could be considered romantic for a couple to go to. Great wine selection, they had six additional specials that were not on the menu. I ordered the risotto with prawns, my mom had the veal special and her husband had the rack of lamb was delicious cooked medium rare. I highly recommend this place my mom said said she was at a few other places in the area this one is her favorite!

Had a lovely veggie Italian meal here. Was a tad bit expensive given the quantity, but the taste was authentic and awesome. Would go again.

We did a takeaway from this place. We were trying it for the first time . Food we ordered : –Fettucine Primavera which was supposed to be tomato cream base. It was neither creamy not there was any taste. Almost seemed like they had forgotten to put any seasoning. There was absolutely no salt in it. A bite was all we had of it. — Penne Salccisia(In tomato sauce and sausage): Better than the fettucine but again lacked flavour. — Melon wrapped in prosciutto: It was literally a huge piece of lemon wrapped in prosciutto. Not at all appetizing — fried calamari: The only thing we could eat of everything we ordered. The only good part was the calamari fritti and the bread which they packed well with all the required sauces. I was really looking forward to the food here but my first time was definitely disappointing. I’m hoping their in-house service than take-away.

Great atmosphere. Great service. Appetizers were great(bruschetta, calamari, and the antipasti plate) I got the ribeye special. It was overdone(I ordered medium rare and it came out well) and cut too thin.

Went here to celebrate a birthday… very accommodating with young kids. Great service in general. $ 15 for a corkage fee. We didn’t like the wines they had so we brought our own. The best food was their food specials. — Lamb shank was awesome. It’s served on some spaghetti. really delicious but it’ll set you back $ 35. — Steak was okay. it wasn’t that well seasoned. I like a little salt and pepper and it was more charred for me. — Calamari was fried to perfection. Did NOT like the ketchup they served with it. they should be using a marinara. — Clams and mussels steamed was just okay. — We got two pastas. one with sausage and another was just a tomato sauce with angel hair. It was okay. not al dente enough for me. The décor is something they could work on… it’s unfortunate. But it’s in Fremont suburbs. so it’s not really a big deal. Just don’t expect fancy dt décor.

We’ve been meaning to come to this location for a long time and finally we made it happen. Craving for pasta, we dine in cheerfully. But it looks like the server we had was not cheerful as we were. Still, we ignored that fact. Like I said, I’m curious as to how their pasta taste like. Seems like they have a good review. Location is small and surrounded by other small restaurant. You might think of skipping them and proceed to Chinese or Sushi nearby. But we stick to our plan. First, the server wanted us to order a wine. I think he kept on pushing. I love wine but not that time, I wasn’t in the mood. We ordered our food. They served bread which seems like a bread from yesterday, not so appealing. I had the seafood pasta with white sauce. Seafood is always perfect, but the pasta was a mixed of overcook and undercook. Disappointing. Our dinner went fast. Again, he insisted that we should have a dessert. But we refused. They have a Unilocal deal — $ 20 for the price of $ 40. I grabbed one for I think it’s worthy because our visit was not worthy. As much as I want to try the spaghetti next time., I really have to think about it.

Yeeeeeeah like Brandon B. said below, I generally don’t make bad decisions when it comes to restaurants. I have a pretty good track record of recommending places to friends and family, especially in terms of food I personally love because I’m really selective about it. I’d come here a few months prior with one of my girlfriends who is also an Italian food aficionado and at the time, it was fine. They even managed to whip up an off-menu carbonara and I have fond memories of their gnocchi in gorgonzola cream sauce… yum. Well I am glad I have my memories because I truly don’t know what happened to this place. I guess it’s a bad sign when places that have been around for a really long time begin offering Unilocal deals and discounts. I ended up making carbonara for my husband the following night( ). I’m gonna give myself 5 stars for that instead.

So I got a Unilocal voucher($ 10 for $ 20 Deal) & decided to go check this place out. As I walked in, I felt a bit hesitant(I thought I was under-dressed in jeans & tee) but I felt more comfortable after another party of 5 joined us. We ordered the vegetarian pasta primavera(at least I think that’s what it was) & the minestrone soup for me. I stole a bite of the pasta & decided to order one for myself(but a bit more spicy for me). After our meal we even decided to order another primavera to-go. I was too full for dessert, but was tempted nevertheless! They’ve got an amazing dessert selection.

I feel like the best way to describe this restaurant is that it’s very Italian in terms of décor and food. The restaurant itself is quite small and can easily be missed in the strip mall. Service was great however, as the servers came by to check on us a few times etc. Portion here is quite small though– true italian portions, and not he american portions. Knowing that, my sister suggested we order an appetizer(which I would also recommend as well). We started off with the calamari, average at best. The entrée however was quite flavorful. I ordered the Triangoli(home made pasta stuffed with mushroom and sun dried tomatoes, served with marinara sauce). I think there were only 4 ravioli sized stuffed pastas on the plate, so honestly I would not have been full without the appetizer. Interesting little italian restaurant I have to say. Worth coming by to try for yourself.
