Called in for«Rapid Pick Up» at 7:59 pm on 2÷4÷16, received confirmation that order will be ready at 8:08 pm. I arrived there at 8:25 pm, before proceeding to pick my «Rapid Pick Up» order, I made additional order, hot mocha, tea, and cookies. While waiting for my order, i went to pick up my «Rapid Pick Up» and was advised that it was not ready, the bread for sandwich and pastries was no longer available. I waited another 5 minutes for them to make my sandwich and was directed to the cashier again to pick another pastries. I then asked for my mocha, tea, and additional cookies and was order was never made. The young female who took my order was no longer at the front and my order was not there! I then called for another staff for help. He said he doesn’t know what happened but assisted me with order. Then the young female who helped me arrived at the front. I asked her what happened to my order. She said that she forgot but was sorry??? I told her how can you take an order and forget??? She then started to say thing like she said sorry and that I should just be ok with that. The man that was making my order was trying to stop her from saying anything else. I wasn’t there to argue, I just wanted to get out of there with my so called«Rapid Pick Up» so I ignored her. Also, both the water for tea and coffee was cold. The time they had listed for time brewed is 5:30 pm. I didn’t get out of there until 8:40 pm.

40+ minutes to get my food?! It’s a freakn sandwich! Options on the menu not available? And $ 30 for LUNCH? Total rip of a place. All hype this visit was. I hope the taste doesn’t make me regret the 2 stars I’m giving this place.

Horrible service. Line was at least 20 people deep with 1 cashier. I preferred a sandwich with no onions, add bacon(which is extra) and lettuce. After about 10 minutes, sandwich comes out. No bacon, no lettuce. Covered with onions. I go back and see a screen that shows orders they are working on. Three of them with a wait of 50+ minutes. For panera bread. Ridiculous. Will not go back to this one ever.

Since Panera has introduced flatbread sandwiches, they do not spend as much time on regular sandwiches and if one asks for whole wheat bread, they say it only comes on flatbread. The flatbread sandwiches do not appear to be an improvement over the regular sandwiches. Tuna used to be very good, but it is now a glob of mayo with a little tuna in it and instead of spreading the tuna on the bread, it’s a scoop in the middle of the sandwich. I would rate the tuna a minus 5. Otherwise, soups are often very good and service is a little above average.

Fifty strangers run in from the cold front to escape rain and thunder, and find themselves bundling up with one another… That’s a fantasy of mine. Anyway, the truth is we all come in individually to order chunky soups, pressed sandwiches, coffees, French Toast Bagel(it’s a thing), hot cocoa and scramble to find a table, but no fear, there’s so much space here that there’s no worry for a scramble. I like the girl who took my order, liked her for her warm heart. I liked the guy who ran from the kitchen and apologized for the order. See, this was an instance where I CONFUSEDTHEM. I said two times, in garbled speech, that I wanted it for here, in a mug, in not a to-go cup, yada yada yada, I used double-negatives when I said it again. The guy with a warm heart came to our table and said, «The barista put it in a to-go cup, I stopped him, and said it was to be in a mug. I apologize, I’m having him re-do it. It will come out fresh,» he said, and he ran to the kitchen, and came back within two minutes with a for-here mug that was lavishly presented with the caramel ribbon, the cocoa powder, the billowy whip cream, and the works. And beneath the surface, it was pleasurably hot! See, I’m not one of those Unilocalers that gets the order wrong and then comes onto the site to lambaste that it’s their fault, and spew vitriol on their service and all that. Not the guy who says it’s Always THEM, not ME. No sir. I do wish next time I could get a table by the very warm fireplace. I do wish next time I come in and they have my Pumpkin Muffie on shelf, which is like a muffin, except a short-top, and cheaper. I do wish next time I come in fifty attractive strangers come in wearing their PJ’s or yellow rain slicker with nothing underneath, with a sleeping back or yoga mat in hand… OK, I’ll stop. I’m getting weird. #likereally and #it’s-Panera-Bread-dammit-it’s-always-gonna-be-a-dependable-never-wavering-three-stars-nothing-more-from-me. Ah, maybe 3.5 stars.

You would think that placing your order 2 days in advance online would guarantee that when you walk in they’ll have your order ready for you. Don’t count on it. Used the online order service on Wednesday for dozen bagels to be picked up on Friday morning. As I walked in to «Pick Up» window I was told«Someone just walked in and bought all the bagels. We don’t have your order! What do you wanna do?» The reason I ordered 2 days in advance online was to guarantee my food to be ready for pick up when I scheduled it for. I don’t care if someone walked in and bought all bagels. You knew ahead of time how many bagels to save for my order. That should have been done before selling everything to someone who just walked in. And instead of asking me to wait for more bagels(and be late for work) you should have asked your walk-in customer to wait. No sorry, apology or discount for the inconvenience. When I asked if it could be delivered to my work, I was told«No, delivery is only if you have a large order.» Needless to say I got my money back and left without my order. Called the corporate office later to complain only to be put on hold. Like Seinfeld said, «You know how to take a reservation, you just don’t know how to hold a reservation!»

Panera’s never disappoints. It’s my go-to spot for those chilly nights when all you want is a sandwich and a hot cup of tomato soup. This location has a cozy little fireplace too. It’s always quiet in the evening here so it’s a great spot to pull up a seat & plug in your laptop if you need a place to getaway and study.

Tried the self service kiosk today. Works really well and cut past all the people standing in line. Went straight to the rapid pick up area. LOL. Now let’s see if I actually get my order ahead of them

After using Unilocal for years just to read reviews, I finally decided to write a review for this place due to the horrible service I receive time and time again. Workers always seem to be slow and mess up on my orders. There was no more mayonnaise packets therefore I asked the server if I could receive some on the side. She never came back with any and I then realized my sandwich did not come with cheese as it was supposed to. I then told the the same server if I could get the cheese. After 5 minutes, she still did not show. I then had to go up to the counter and ask her, and she then decided to ask the cooks then after I waited for quite some time. Overall, the service here is not what it used to be, and it’s sad to say because their food is very good but the service does not match unfortunately.

Been coming to this location for years, but for some reason the actual customer service has taken an absolute nose dive. On two occasions in one week, the front counter gals seemed absolutely lost and somewhat rude. case in point, on one occasion we wanted a certain raisin bread that was already wrapped and packaged to be sliced thick. They obliged, but screwed up with thin slices. So they went and got another bread in the display case and started to slice. When we asked why did they not get another prepackaged one like the original, they started arguing and telling us that they were both from the same dough in the morning. I know its petty, but IF a customer has paid and WANTS the bread from a prepackaged bread, do NOT argue and do your job. It was very unprofessional and the manager got involved. I also had ordered another one online for pick up and they actually called me to let me know that they were all out of the items. I said OK and agreed to come the next day. So I show up today and the girl in the front counter is confused with an attitude…

Okay, this rating is based off one of the workers on a Friday afternoon. I think his name was«Mike». I placed an online order for pick up at 1:30pm. long story short, by the time I get to Panera, is 4pm. As I go to the pick up area, and start to get my food, Mike notices and says«there’s no way that’s your order, that’s been there since 1:30» I explained to him that I was at the hospital and had just left after a long wait. Mike took the bag and prepped a full fresh order for me. I didn’t request for him to do so, I knew it was my fault I was late and wasn’t going to hold them accountable for it, but Mike took initiative and did so anyway. Because of Mike’s actions, every time I feel like eating from Panera, I will make the drive to this location, rather than the one closer to home. Thank you for your service Mike!

Very friendly staff and they deserve this 4 star. I ordered via app and scheduled to pick up at 9am. It turned out that i was 30 min early. I told them this and they decided to cook my order right away so that I don’t have to wait. Very thoughtful. I deduct 1 star off because they omitted my order once. I ordered 3 sandwiches and they somehow only gave me 2. :-(

Well, what and how can I say it? Came in, nobody at the registers, a young man came to one and I asked if he could help me ordering, said not his shift and called out to the kitchen for help. Young lady came to the register took the order; my wife asked for decaf coffee. Not available, so young lady said she was going to make it. 10 minutes later, my wife went to the counter talked to the attendant who said she FORGOT to make the decaf and told another attendant to do it… Agh!, I do not why service is not quite what it used to be. This is not just Panera, but, a recurrent way here in Northern Cal at least…

Hmmm, looks like his location has poor management. Slow service dirty tables, second time I am here and taking time to wait for the brewed coffee replaced. :(

I’ve visited two panera locations so far in my lifetime. I don’t plan on making it a bucket list item to visit them all since it feels like they’re all the same. Since it’s so close to the hospital, my boyfriend and I stopped by here to pick up dinner to go. Our original idea was chipotle but once we parked, we saw the line. I’ll wait patiently for food, but not for chipotle on a Friday night. There was a line inside of panera but it wasn’t nearly as long. My boyfriend hates waiting in line. I don’t particularly count it as a hobby of mine, but he refuses to wait in a line for anything. It makes life a bit more… Interesting, to say the least. Anyway, we saw that they had computerized ordering stations. That made things much better. We love the self check out stands at Lucky’s, Safeway, and more recently Target. So why not at panera?! Genius. The ordering system lets you add on to your initial order, but it doesn’t help when you’re ordering later in the evening and they’re running out of things. That’s where the awesome staff comes in however. The girl who created our order was very patient and helpful in letting us know that there weren’t any more chocolate croissants or bread bowls. Even though it was busy, everyone working there was churning out the food quickly. So why only three stars? I’ve come to realize that I’m so generous with a higher rating on here. But it’s usually earned. Five stars for the employees, three stars for the food, and one star for the prices. Do the math, and that’s three stars. The food is decent. It’s not anything special nor is it awful. But the portions are pretty small. I feel like I would have to order a lot in order to really be full. I don’t seek out the best bang for your buck deals to solely satiate my hunger. But I do expect a decent sized BLT for $ 11. Prior to tonight’s dinner, I visited another location solely for a bagel and tea– that would’ve probably earned four stars. Oh well, this place is here if I ever need it. But I won’t be dreaming of or craving it! And lastly, shoutout to the adorable dog waiting for his/her human outside! You are such a sweet, patient little pup(but in reality you were big)! Too cute, made me smile.

The asiago cheese bagels are delicious and since it’s Tuesday we got them 13 for $ 6.99. However, tell me why the girl cutting bagels thought this looked correct… we had a good laugh when we opened the box

I have been to this Panera a few times in the past and have bought bakery products, at prices not too far out of line. Then I was visiting the Panera in Pacific Commons for hazelnut coffee and jalapeño bagels on the way to Costco on my day off. I stopped going to that Panera because they stopped allowing us to put pats of butter onto the expensive jalapeño bagels. Since I often walk to Peet’s Coffee for exercise and to visit Raley’s and Whole Foods, I think I will give this Panera another try. An additional incentive, as Stephanie G. noted in her review, is that this Panera has free wifi. In the past, I did not use wifi, but now it is an important factor. Also, in the past I bought quite a few packages of Panera Cheddar Broccoli soup(through Costco). I would absolutely love it if Panera would offer that product, but at a price that is reasonable enough. I want take-home packages.

App Ordering: First off there was a long line which seems to be a common theme at this location. I found out you can order on app via mobile. So, I took a seat at table near the fireplace and got my order in before the guy who would have been in front of me in the line. The tables are numbered so when I ordered I just entered the table number on the order. Some how it took 20 minutes for my food to arrive and it wasn’t complete, I had to go chase down my Berry Smoothie. I told the manager how long it had taken for my food and the the order was incomplete. She just said«is there anything else I can do for you» uh… By the time I took my first bite, the guy who was walked in, in front of me, was walking out to leave because he had finished. Oh, and my soup wasn’t warm any more of course. The tables don’t seem to be wiped down or bussed. Ultimately this place it just too busy and the workers are just too overwhelmed.

I haven’t been to a Panera Bread in a few years. I forgot how pricey some of the items are, but this place is something you go to once in a while and not every day. I ordered the Chicken Tortellini Alfredo with a cup of black bean soup for the Pick Two menu. My husband ordered the Steak & Swiss Panini and an 8 oz bowl of Cheddar Broccoli soup. Both soups were really good! I’ve been craving black bean soup for a while, so I enjoyed it. Although, I do wish they would mash the black beans into an actual soup and not just give me black beans in a cup because it didn’t really look like it’d be called a soup. The Chicken Tortellini Alfredo was good too, but the chicken tasted way too salty for me. The pasta itself was so delicious. As for my husband’s sandwich, he liked it, but it was a bit greasy. He wasn’t complaining about the soup though, he loved it. Overall, I wouldn’t make this a regular place to come to, especially with the price for everything. Like I said, once in a while is good enough to come here.

The price you pay is for the warm food, quiet study area, and ambiance. Meals here are pretty small, costing $ 11 – 16 for something good. The Pick Two deal is still around. I suggest the Classic Grilled Cheese sandwich and the Tomato Soup. It won’t fill you up but it is a delicious combo! You also get your choice of bread, chips, or apple with the Pick Two. For the Pick Two, it is NOT worth getting the panini! They are cut in half for all sandwiches and paninis, with each $ 4+. If you want a panini or sandwich, get the whole one for your moneys worth. The staff here is pretty nice and chill, matching the ambiance. It does get pretty packed during dinner time, but most people grab it to go. Now, they have online ordering and a new app for it! The wifi is a bit spotty, but it’s always going to be a good place for some quiet relaxation or work to get done.
