I had a very bad experience with online ordering. I placed an online order for 3 cakes. When I went at the scheduled pickup time the cakes were not ready because the order did not reach the store. My credit card has been charged for the order and I have an email confirmation. The gentleman who helped me at the store said that it was normal for online orders to get lost. I had ordered the cakes for a party and found myself in a bad situation because of Panera. Panera should stop online ordering if they cannot fulfill them.

Service has gone down hill. Rapid pick up is a joke, they can’t fulfill your orders on time. kiosk don’t work half the time. Watched 3 people get really frustrated trying to use them. service is super slow! 7:30 am, 1 person in front of me, still took them 30 min. to hand over a few bagels to the customer in front of me. I mean really slow. like a snail’s pace. and the place is cold, the A/C is always on HIGH The manager is rude, talks down to customers. Has a sarcastic tone, very sarcastic. He noticed that people were backing up behind me, and when people started looking at their watches, because the one gal on the register was so slow, the manager started loud talking, saying that its early and people should have patients. really? well you as the manager need to have more than 1 person on the register and us customers in line need to get into the office. But no one said anything, we just waited like nice polite customers for our food and coffee. all the time while he was loud talking. then, he thought he was being funny by calling me Kathleen Turner. Very inappropriate! I avoid this place now, can find better food at all the other restaurants in the area.

If i could do a negative star i would. Horrible manager. After we left the place my wife told me he was rude to her. She was trying to help him to look at ticket for our order. He said. «I can read»! We guess what he can’t because we still didn’t get our orde right!!! After 45min of waiting we still got it wrong!!! We just took it and left!!! Wow they need a over haul staffing!

Came here today to have a quick meeting with a colleague and afterwards I got something to eat. When it was time to go home I realized I did not bring my phone with me and could not request my Über ride. I asked the young lady at the counter, Brittney, if I could borrow someone’s phone to request my Über. She did not find anyone who already had the Über ap downloaded so she offered me her own phone, allowing me to download the Über app and signing on to get my ride home. Brittney went beyond any expectations of customer service, this was human kindness in its purest form. Thank you Panera for hiring great people like Brittney!

Panera Bread was one eatery i wanted to dine at. just happens there was a short line when i arrived. noticed a sign saying i could bypass line if i want to the right. did so, ended up at counter looking at confusing menu. not just entrée listed but pick 2, sm? lg?. noticed people in line eventually ended up at cashier i was going to be at. decided to leave, didn’t want others to think i cut into the line deliberately. Nope, was just folllowing one of the posted guidelines…

male manager was not very professional or polite. rather condescending. i admit though that i was maybe a bit too comfortable in here with my shoes off. but in my defense, i did make sure that no other customers were around. either way, i acknowledge that perhaps i shouldn’t have, but the way this manager approached the issue wasn’t friendly at all. i was on my laptop doing my business, he comes strolling around, checks around a few corners, peeks at what i’m doing, then comes around to tell me to «please put your shoes back on.» without even giving me a chance to apologize, he hurries off to do something else, but looks back at me and goes, «this is a restaurant! Oh, by the way, I’m the manager here!» ok? i apologized right away and put my shoes back on but after thinking about it for a minute, i realized that the way he spoke to me wasn’t professional at all. i have a little advice for you, mr. manager. don’t talk to your customers like you’re talking to your own kids. Next time I’ll just wear flip flops. How’s that?

Came here on a Monday night for tea & dessert. Place wasn’t as busy as it usually is. We just wanted some tea and hot chocolate. We ordered a cinnamon roll and a chocolate chip cookie as well. Upon receiving the cinnamon roll, THREE fruit flies flew out of it(Barf). They were nice enough to switch it out for another one. But as far their policy goes — that they will give you a free pastry if your order is not right — was not honored. They gave us a number and said someone will deliver the hot chocolate but it never was. We had to go back up to the counter to request it. Also, if you want to warm up a pastry, they have a self — serve microwave, which is great because it gives you a chance to check out they pastry before you fry the fruit flies.

No different than any other Panera Bread(and that’s a good thing). You go in and get what you’re looking for, whether it’s pastries, sandwiches, coffee, etc. Depending on time and week, the place can be busier than not. Nothing to complain about here.

I came here around 2 pm on a weekday and took my food to-go. There are plenty of parking in front of/around Panera Bread as it is located in the same plaza as Claim Jumper, Rubio’s, Little Madfish, and Tapioca Express. The cashier who took my order was friendly; the pick-up counter service lady’s attitude was acceptable. The overall service was okay and it seemed like customer retention is not a priority. My order consisted of a cup of Chicken Wild Rice Soup, a ½ Steak White Cheddar Panini, and a French Baguette for $ 8.98+tax. The baguette and the cup of soup were good, but the panini was awful. The steak piece was small, overcooked, and really tough to eat. The overall sandwich tasted overwhelmingly of horseradish sauce and onions. The baguette of the sandwich tasted slightly over-baked. The food wasn’t as good as I had hoped. For the quality, price, and customer service, I would choose Boudin any day.

Been to this location a few times since it’s near my school. Perfect to study at, very spacious, quiet. Food is delicious. I took off one star because my iced caramel latte was watered down this morning.

Don’t rapid pick up here. They cannot fulfill orders within ten minutes and recently it’s taken as much as 30. My order has been wrong or incomplete the last few times too. Today it had a completely different name on it!(Which who knows where that came from!). So how am I supposed to find my order that’s under a different name? It’s just not a good system and its not in real time. Plus this location is always busy, not staffed enough for how busy it is and honestly its customers just look miserable. On a side note when I finally got my wrong named order, the brownie is disgusting. It’s all oily, seeped through the paper bag it’s in and it’s all because they never have any bakery items left by noon as it is. Don’t you think you’d make more or have more since you know you’ll sell out? That’s just money you are losing.

I received a $ 5 rebate after a promotion sponsored by an employer. So to keep the faith I kept going back. Usually I would stop in at Panera in Pacific Commons on my way for Costco to open at 10 a.m. on my day off. So that meant coffee(hazelnut flavor was delicious) and a high-priced jalapeño bagel. They got the impression that I was a very regular customer and sold me a dozen bagels in a bag for some reasonably low price, 6 or 7 dollars I think it was. Those got almost stale before we ate them all. The store has reasonably good seating, inside and out, and has a restroom that I think is top quality. The serving line is sometimes good, sometimes a mess. What got me to stop going, on top of substantial prices, was that they stopped letting us put a pat of butter onto the jalapeño bagel. I decided to stop elsewhere on my way to Costco.

This location is extremely busy! I order at the kiosk for the first time. I forgot to put my Panera number in before I completed my order Oops! There is not a system in place to give customers credit when that happens. However, my salad was served at my table in under ten minutes. Nice job Penera!

I arrived AT the register AT10:30AM. I was in line for the single order taker for 15 minutes for two customers. Was ready to walk out but was so hungry I decided to wait. Finally I get there to order my breakfast sandwich and she tells me it’s 10:30 and they are not serving breakfast anymore. I said comon, i was in line for a long time. She said she’d ask the manager, the manager told her that they were out of eggs! OUTOFEGGS! AT A BAKERY!!! I called B.S. I can see the eggs from the front counter. The short chunky asian manager lady is rude as heck, and a liar. Piss poor customer service, and after a couple more chances at this location I gotta say it’s hands down been the worst Panera Location ever!(for customer service) Another time I used the automatic kiosk for a simple cup of coffee. I ordered a Large… All they had was small cups! I instructed them I ordered a large cup, they didnt offer anything extra, not even a sorry. Losers! Ungh! Argh!

I’m here twice a week during the mornings for a good two hours. I order the same Mac & cheese with raspberry iced tea and eat while I watch netflix lol then I do my homework. After coming in for several weeks now I experience and see first hand how great the customer service is. Maybe it’s just because I see them during the morning when it’s not sooo busy but who knows! The African American male is hilarious and often cleans up after me(I always intend to, but he just gets my plates before I do clean up lol). The older Filipino lady always has a huge smile on her face and greets everyone that enters. The Caucasian lady with blue eyes I believe and her hair always tied is always cleaning up and straightening the chairs/tables. Those 3 workers always stand out to me for their great customer service and I just wanted to commend them!

A solid two stars. The customer service at this place is let’s just say non existent. They wouldn’t warm up the chocolate croissant — you have to do it yourself in a microwave that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a month! The bathrooms are a whole another story — management needs to invest in keeping them clean, stocked and they really do need a makeover — as in lets tear it all down and put in brand new EVERYTHING! The food is okay– I prefer the panera in Dublin. Don’t think I’ll be coming back here anytime soon

I come into any number of health-minded«Panera Bread’s» once in awhile, ordering the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich or French Onion soup, or some kind of other specialty and come up pleasantly surprised. I said«Up.» Yes, and this particular location is on the Up and Up. No, I don’t think«Panera» is that spectacular, but as a budget-eats chain only rarely can it be beat. And recently, their Frozen Lemonade was better than Disneyland’s, and cheaper, too. #cheapeats

I really want to see Panera Bread improve their food, because the convenience can’t be beat and the menu is great, the whole principle is fantastic, but the quality often leaves me in «meh» ville. Today I ordered a cobb salad, add croutons and hold the bacon, and I got a cobb salad with bacon and no croutons. I’m glad I ordered extra dressing(and got it-hallelujah) because there were three of those little plastic containers that were only half full each. The salad was okay otherwise, but whoever made it got globs of food on the outside of the to-go box like their fingers were all gunky with who knows what. Will I order from there again? Probably yes, but not as often because another similar restaurant that shall not be named(you can probably use google to figure it out) is right next door, and has much better food for about the same price. No online order and pay, but I’m willing to spend a few extra minutes for better quality.

I’ve been to many of the Panera Breads all throught the East and South Bays… all the same to me, but one of the main reasons why I go there is to study/get my hw done or to get my chai-tea latte fix… I don’t know what it is about the food, but personally I thought it was decent at first, but now all I taste is sodium… yeah, I feel like it’s become THAT salty… The bakery itself is still decent tasting though… Wi-Fi is just as bad here though… there’s times you get connection, other times you can’t…and it’s stupid cuz when you connect to the wi-fi there’s this message that says during the busy hours(like lunch or something), since there’s a rush, the wi-fi will slow down… but wtf… even when there’s hardly anybody there, the connection still sucks… But whatever… I’m glad Paneras are everywhere… beats having to stay at home attempting to do hw and then getting distracted…
