This is a great park that isn’t too far where I grew up I’m pretty much my whole life so I have a lot of great memories here. This park is pretty maintained. The grass is usually clean and freshly cut and the sprinklers are always run pretty regularly usually at night around 7:30 or 8 p.m. And people often walk around the grassy areas and sometimes people like to play soccer or I use to play frisbee. I remember coming to this party with my friends when I was younger and we would have a picnic here. I’ve come to this park so long that I actually remember when it was a playground with a wooden structure, but they change that so that it is safer. The wooden structure had a possibility of maybe getting splinters supposedly, but I never got splinters so then they change the playground to a plastic type of playground. On the swings I used to see how high I could go and I’d jump off and land in the sand it was so fun. Like most parks this park closes at dusk, but some people still like to walk around a little bit even after that time. There are some trees with long branches that hang down really far and I remember I use to get a blanket and set it out with my friends and talk under these. I remember I use to get some of the branches and make some wreaths out of them but that was when I was 8 years old. I walked, jogged, rode my bike, threw balls and Frisbees, swang on the swings, played on the playground at this park. It’s not very big but it’s nice to have near this housing track.

A beautiful, beautiful park nestled in a residential area. I’m told it’s not always kept up so well, but when I went today, the field was spectacular. The grass was perfectly manicured, like a gold course! Only negative is that there are some sneaky holes here and there. Watch your ankles. If you’re playing a sport on the field, best to take a quick look and mark off hazards.
