Jing Dai, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

This is our first baby and we looked at Unilocal reviews to select Dr. Stacy Macdonald as our OBGYN. My wife delivered a 8 pounder healthy baby at 39W1D at washington hospital.

Once when she was not available for weekly appointment at 34 weeks we had randomly selected Dr. Jing Dai for that appointment.
I would usually start the review by mentioning the positives but in this case there are absolutely none.
Negatives:
1. Complete lack of communication skills. My wife had a low AFI count of 6.5 in the previous week visit and Dr. Macdonald had mentioned a wait and watch policy, when we met Jing Dai the first thing she jtalks about is about inducing the baby at 37 even without talking to us on what basis she made this decision.
2. While doing the measurements she used terms like «Ohhh the Amniotic fluid is too low»!! Even thought AFI measurement is not a actual science and kept saying things that scared my wife and equally even though there was absolutely no evidence based data backing her claims!
3. Her spoken English skill definitely need lot of improvement!
4. Came of as very unpleasant. She entered the room and offered no pleasantries, no smile exchanges absolutely nothing!
STAY AWAY FROM JING DAI and Washington Womens health group in general!

I am a patient of another doctor in this practice however I was having an issue and Dr. Dai had an opening the next day. Dr. Dai was thorough, diagnosed my problem and emailed a prescription to my pharmacy. She wasn’t particularly personable, but she was professional.

My experience with Dr. Dai was rushed, and my routine exam was painful and almost rough! I had to request certain tests be done that should have been obvious to her. Sorry, I’m looking for another GYN doctor.

Back to three years ago, someone give Dr. Dai 5 star rating. I just wonder how??? She is not professional, she did not know how to communication with patient at all, very rude. I wish she could smile to us each visit like those photos post online. Any questions you have, answers always: I do not know. Not even consider finding someone do know. Because there is no address on the blood test form, we have to search online. The sugar test because not informed precautions, make us went twice… Finally, I can not take any more, I switched doctor.

Appointment was easy enough to get, but actual visit left me feeling somewhat disrespected and demeaned. Questions were standard to visit, but doctor follow-​up commentary was unnecessary and borderline judgmental. The doctor also miss ordered tests that have yet to be resolved, misinterpreted an important test result, office sent billing to the wrong insurance also causing me time consuming follow up. I’m still receiving bills from an appointment months ago that was billed completely incorrectly and is leaving me with hundreds of dollars on a balance that has been difficult to clear. Please do yourself a favor, wait to book an appointment with another doctor.

I was so lucky to see Dr Jai at my last visit. I’ll now be requesting her every time. She’s the first doctor who’s made me feel welcomed because she understands the challenges with having an under-​active thyroid.
Other doctors have brushed me off saying that I have a mild case and that I have to live with fatigue, hair falling out, constipation, sluggish memory, etc without help from them. Just being acknowledged like Dr Jai did really made a big difference.

I don’t know how she got 5 star ratings from the other two. If I have an option of 0 I would give it to her. She is very un professional and rude whom I haven’t seen before. Doesn’t respond to the questions, confused and very arrogant as if she is doing a favor to me, grow up we are paying you. She knows only one answer which is I don’t know. I could get better information by looking up online than her. Not sure how she got her dr degree and certifications. Was very unhappy with her, this will be my first and last visit with her. Have seen better doctors.

the front desk lady was nice but the jind dai was little bit rude. i have seen much better doctors.

Dr. Dai is really good. I used to see her, Dr. Berrie and Dr. Prasad. Their team is good and I was happy to find a female only group. She delivered my daughter and she was really good, helpful, friendly and professional. Five stars for her.

Very professional, and nice. Takes her time to answer any questions you may have.

Dr Dai is very professional, personal and extremely caring. I have known her for slightly over 2 years now. Eventhough she didn’t get to deliver my baby, I have very good experience with her during my visits. I have seen her probably for more than dozen times. Great doctor!
