My daughter went there for ~3 years. They cancelled classes on us every now and then. One time I needed re-schedule because my daughter was not well and they refused. I asked them«If they asked the teacher that kid is not well» and I was told that even after hearing that teacher is not willing to re-schedule and give make up. I left FMMI and am never going back.

During the recent(Dec 2015) holidays, we got a call on 12/23/2015 that the Saturday class for 12/26/2015 was cancelled. On 12/26/2015, 10 minutes into the 30 minute class we get a call that we are late and can you come to class. We say that we got a call that it was cancelled. We are giving FMMI2 starts because when I called the manager(Yuko) on 1÷7÷2016, she said that they did not cancel the class and also said that they never cancelled a class. In fact, they called on ½/2016 at 10:30 to cancel the 11:30 class. In fact they have cancelled many classes. So, the manager(as well as others we had spoken to) lied about what happened and she told me she did not want to argue about the class since they never cancel them. This is not how to treat customers. We have cancelled all lessons with FMMI and will not return.

one of the ladies answered the phone, and when I wasn’t even done talking to her, she hung up on me. she was very impolite and disrespectful.

My 9 year old daughter started violin lessons couple of months ago with teacher Hannah and she is an excellent teacher. She teaches students of all ages and all levels. Hannah really knows how to engage the students and keep their attention regardless of the class you take being 30 minutes or an hour long. Hannah is very patient and has taught my daughter the importance of good technique and good posture when playing the violin from day one and continues to focus on these key aspects until your child is ready to move on to next level. Hannah has been in Orchestras, is actively part of the music community and she produces students that are selected into youth orchestras. My daughter and I would highly recommend Hannah as an instructor for your child’s fun music journey. The Fremont Music Institute staff is very professional and their policies are straight forward and realistic. They have many classrooms and they are very flexible with when you can take your classes. They offer a FREE trial class!!!

The teachers are fantastic here. Not only are they good with children, they are dependable and on time. The owner is also very nice and knows how to take care of business. I highly recommend this place for music lessons for people of all ages, especially younger children.

I feel so bad for Haerim reading the previous review, I feel like I need to defend her. My daughter absolutely adores her, and is enjoying her singing lessons. She just had a beautiful performance at the recital. Haerim is super nice and very patient with young ones. I guess it is all so subjective once it comes down to your own kids – you never know if it’s just your kid not being competent enough or not. It’s an easy solution to blame on teachers. The owner seems very nice. Yeah, they have these rigid policy for make-up lessons, no-refund, etc, but you need to ask your auntie to teach your kid if you want to avoid all these«policies». The classes are a bit pricey – but hey, you won’t get two recitals a year if you stick with your auntie. Next to a garbage dump? They may be able to move if you don’t ask for refunds ;-)

My son has been taking piano classes here for the past one year. His teacher Hareim Park is excellent. Recently he also started guitar classes. I have had a mixed experience with the guitar classes so far. I really love the place. The classes are a bit pricey.
