Today I got a Gyro and the newest menu item called the«Town Fries». Both items were jam-packed with flavor and extremely satisfying! The gyro meat was moist and tender and melts in your mouth. I honestly can’t think of a time I had a better gyro. At the request of the staff I tried the town fries which come drenched in melted cheese and sauce. Being a connoisseur of fries covered with all manner of ingredients this was a fantastic treat! The small fries were more than enough for two but I was compelled to finish the whole thing myself. Don’t judge me. The guys working the place were extremely friendly and accommodating. The only drawback was a lack of variety in the beverage department. Other than that, a great experience. I will be returning… frequently.

I’m writing this while I’m here and I’m already not impressed. No greeting, the cashier asks you here or to go, only for the lady cook to say were closing when we still had a good 40 minutes.

WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER! I cannot believe this restaurant is actually open and runs. The service(if you can call it that is) rude and surly), they don’t greet you, they take your order at the counter in a very brusque fashion, once the food arrived they slap it on the counter and leave it there expecting you to come and pick it up yourself. The rudeness and bad service I could take, that is, if the food was anything to write home about. We ordered a cheese burger, a phily steak and a chicken gyro — all meal combos that came with fries and a soft drink. The portion sizes were small, the fries — greasy as if they had been re-fried. The philly steak was tasteless and soggy. The chicken in the gyro was hard and dry like it had been sitting out for a long time and then had been reheated. The burger was horrible — we complained about the burger — and the owner was rude and said ‘what do you expect for the price’, he also insisted it was freshly made — no way was it ever fresh, i know processed meat when i see it. He didn’t offer to replace it or an alternative. We will not be returning EVER. The place is also very unsanitary — dirty tables, dust & dirt all over the place and rundown. Let this be a warning to you! I wouldn’t be suprised if the City Inspector for Environmental Health shut this place down. In a city where there is a plethora of kebab/gyros places I’m at a loss as to how this place actually still operates. Thumbs down!!!

Yeah, I know this place looks like a bomb hit it. But the food is good here. I always order the spicy chicken gyro. Its one of the few times you can order something spicy… and its actually spicy. The tzatziki sauce is super good and gives it a nice creamyness. You can also tell the produce they use is really fresh. The place itself is not where youd wanna take a date. The vinyl booths are all torn and look bad. Theres all kinds of crap for sale on the walls, like mona-vie juice and Arab music CD’s by this guy that I swear must be the arab cousin of Wayne Newton. I guess its a really authentic arab restaurant because it looks like the American army blew it to shit. I don’t know why they have a Mexican menu… its clearly a Mediterranean restaurant run by Mediterranean people.

Had a spicy chicken gyro here, probably one of the best I’ve ever had and the owner is super nice and friendly. Also, had the fish and chips which was really good too, the tartar sauce can be better. Friend and I sat there eating talking with the owner on and off for an hour+ Not only do you get a good meal but great conversation as well! I felt like I was at a great bar where the bartenders are awesome ppl to talk with.

I really don’t like giving 1 star reviews but this place was disappointing on multiple levels and you can’t compromise on sanitation. The guy who took my order and cooked the food seemed like a nice guy. However I could not help but notice that the kitchen was really dirty and the icing on the cake was when he placed the buns that had been cooked on the ledge of the stove that was caked with dirt. After that, I watched how he cooked the food i had ordered with eagle eyes. The gyro was below average and lukewarm. I did not think it was possible to mess up a gyro which is pretty straightforward. In addition to the gyros, they also serve kabobs, schwarma and burgers. Sounds good but sorry, I won’t be coming back.

I had the chicken shawarma wrap meal. It was really good. I don’t eat Mediterranean too often so I don’t have much to compare it to, but I will be back to try more. The meal came with fries which were super hot and crunchy — just the way I like them.

Walked in. Felt dirty. Bathroom had a sign saying out of order. Checked Unilocal saw poor quality of reviews. Guy at counter didn’t greet us and had a horrible expression. We were the only ones in there. Table was sticky. Thought about it. Walked out. I mean u have a grand opening and your restaurant looks this run down and dirty AND you don’t deal with your restroom? And then I am supposed to trust your food? Later.

No way — i don’t recommend this place! I went there today after seeing the GRANDOPENING sign and these are my thoughts 1. Food quantity was a lot but NOTTT good. It tasted horrible! AND it took the guy 15 minutes to give us our food BUT why was it still cold? 2. The place looks old and run down from inside. Isn’t it supposed to atleast look new even if it was taken over by new management. 3. The guy was NOT friendly and had such a dry personality. Talk about customer service eh? Not recommended. Falafel etc — much better, go there instead

Today, we had the gyro and a combo kabob plate with chicken and steak. The cut of steak was tri-tip. The food was tasty and fresh, a solid value for the price. The combo plate was $ 10.99 and came with a decent green salad, rice and naan bread. Not sure how authentic the bread was, but it had good flavor. The steak was cook to medium well, but was still tender. The chicken was cooked thoroughly and was still juicy. The gyro was under $ 5 and served hot and fresh. I just had the gyro not the meal. The pita was fresh and gyro meat had a good flavor and cook the way I like it, which is, cooked until there is a slight crispness to the meat. The yogurt dress was very mild; I like a little more flavor in the dressing. Overall, a good gyro and would go back and order it again. The location is in a ran down strip mall. These ran down strip malls seem too common these days. The cashier, cook, owner combo dude, was friendly and cares about the end product.

Ordered the lamb/steak gyro. came with fries and a drink. I got is spicy, too. It was very good, I enjoyed it! There were no other customers which was odd. The guy(cook, cashier) was friendly and asked if it was good, etc. The sprite needed a little more carbonation. That was my only complaint.

This review is for the new Fremont location on Thorton and Dusterberry. The sign said Grand Opening and missed dinner due to late night at work so decided to stop by. Hole in the wall type of place where you order at the counter, you get the picture. Customer Service is none, guy takes your order, takes your money, cooks the food, and that’s it. No other communication other than maybe a grunt. Ordered Gyros and it was very bland and dry. Not very good. I am use to more of a Greek version of Gyros and I guess this is more mid-eastern(??). The prices are cheap but you get what you pay for.
