Product too much costly as compared to other Indian Store. Most of the product doent have price tag and very costly. It is close to my house but usually go whenever there is no option.

Am i the only one who has noticed their parking dysfunction with exclusive Oscar worthy spots for Bharat Bazaar«vehicles» . 1) See picture of their fork loader which is perpetually occupying 2 spots right up front and watch repair sign occupying another. 2) The shopping carts are tucked away so that it’s a half marathon to get them.(move the cart rail /holders closer to the door, for crying out loud) It’s almost as if they don’t want you to come in and shop. Customer satisfaction and their ease of access would seem low on their agenda.

They sell spoiled samosas. Last time I bought 15 samosas for a pot luck and kids ate even before we realized them they are spoiled. I called them and only thing they would do is they would look in to it :(Just throw the spoiled ones and ban the supplier. I am going to report this to about it and we will monitor the kids for next 24 hours. If you need Samosas and happen to in tis complex, please buy freshly made samosa’s from other Indian snacks shop in the same complex for same price not from these guys unless you want to end up in food related problems.

Customer Service is terrible. In an instance i was charged for 3 yogurts while i got 2, maybe a cashier mistake. When I called to give a feedback. I was told, no it does not happen, why didn’t you checked the receipt and items. For $ 2 item, the business becomes defensive and put the blame across. I’ve going to this business for 17+ years. They were first close to Milpitas. This is decent Indian Store with most of the items one needs for Indian Food. In similar situation @New India Bazaar, they fix the discrepancy instead of arguing for pennies. My choice is clear.

Diwali 2015 is here :) Well, I always sneak peek at the store during Indian festival time. They definitely do a great justice in bringing the spirit of the festival within us(being away from home), by making almost every necessary festive item available, whether it is decorative diyas & sparklers for Diwali or wide range of Rangoli colors or attractive frames and idols of Gods & Goddesses or Pooja accessories or Beautiful Bangles & Bindis(forehead stickers) etc. Quite impressed with their prices too, for they are very cheap compared to other Indian stores in the Bay Area and of course in amazing quality. Don’t miss their Quick Bites — Grabbed Hot & Fresh Dhokla(an Indian savory cake) from the store yesterday. It was very soft, puffy & tasted Super YUM ! Had the best one after a long time, outside India. Their Samosas are good too, tasted homely. High scores, ~ Neatly stacked items available in large quantities & huge variety. ~ Fresh Vegetables & Fruits. ~ Suitable for bulk grocery purchases because of reasonable pricing(way cheaper than other Indian stores, stressing the point again) & Good quality products. ~ No Expiry date issues so far. ~ Helpful staff. ~ Big Parking lot. Highly recommending ! No doubts on my return !

My experience here has been average. Lots of selections of spices, priced neither expensively nor cheaply. The produce selection and quality are fair, and you can get almost all for a lower price and higher quality at Ranch 99 or Food Maxx.

Note: This review is only for watch band replacement. 5 $ for watch band replacement. The existing band was fairly tough to take off but the guy did it very patiently. 5 mins is all it took and the guy was very modest.

I agree with many things the other reviewers have mentioned. I just want to point out that they sell the«worst Samosa». Why I am mentioning the«Samosa»? Because this best demonstrates their carelessness and neglect towards customer. In last many decades of operating, if they can sell this kind of Samosa(which should be a so no-brainer thing) then it shows the neglect and lack of motivation towards excellence. Because this could be fixed just by simple verbal instruction to their Samosa vendor that this needs to be at par with other stores, if not like the one you can get in India. But they failed to do that. This attitude reflects everywhere and mentioned by other reviewers.

This store maybe huge, but doesn’t carry anything. I went to this store twice and veggies were not fresh ATALL. They even had that old stink to them. I moved forward to find some paneer and they only carry like two brands. For the space this store has, you’d think they’ll have variety. Disappointed there. Then I wanted to get pre cooked roti(haldiram) but nope ! That wasn’t there either. They only have uncooked and then some pooja brand, which by the way is horrible because because I felt like I was eating tortilla. I’m new to this place so I guess I’ll find some other Indian store. To sum it up, not clean, old vegetables and not a lot of variety. Oh .um good music though.

Very poor collection compared to India cash n carry. Didn’t find a lot of things we wanted to buy. The paan was rotten, the samosa was okayish.

used them for many years and I increasing see low quality and rotten stuff. As if its not enough their«Pooja» brand stuff is not only cheap quality but also does not weigh as claimed on its packaging. 10lb package usually weighs only 9.5 or 9.2 or some such. They cut corners on storing vegetables, diary etc so they get bad with in few days of bringing home.

VERYBAD ! SUCKS! I bought the daal, and the packet did not have any expiration date. I did not notice it. After bringing home it started to grow insects inside. I went to return and the cashier said she will not do a full refund. Well they know that it can be complained to authorities for not following the rules. Yet very rude and unprofessional of not giving back the money of their own illegally sold item(no expiration and mfg date) C, mon RETURNMYMONEYBACK.

The cashiers here are SO rude, not just in the way they deal with problems, but also in the way they receive the customers. They hardly make eye-contact, seem to hate their job, and have a vibe of bad attitude around them. I definitely have avoided this Indian store and have preferred New India Bazar or Namaste Plaza instead because they treat their customers wayyy better. This place does have a watch repair shop and an eye-brow threading corner.

They are overcharging certain items when compared to other Indian stores, ex. idli batter@$ 9.49 compared to $ 7.99 at other stores.

Fremont got many Indian Market — but the best should be Bharat Bazar. It is large store with fresh vegetable and groceries. Mostly Indian — south Asian market. Their frozen food section is very nice — heat and eat kind of food are available. They also keep hot Samosa, curry for to-go. Price is under control in compare to other store.

At most Indian grocery stores, I am only hunting a few things: 1. well-priced produce and spices 2. British Cadbury(instead of the licensed to Hershey’s American garbage Cadbury) 3. in house deli items Prices for produce are average and you can find better deals at Ranch 99 and Mi Pueblo. Didn’t buy any spices. Large Cadbury sells for $ 5.99, and samosas(potato ones are $ 0.89 and paneer ones are $ 1.50) are good sized. Large variety of items, including costume jewelry, cricket and badminton gear, and altars.

indian moth and sticky webs in Laxmi Chappati Flour. We’ve been buying this brand flour for a long time and noticed it yesterday. I bought a 20 lbs bag of Laxmi Chappati Flour and found moth and sticky webs all around the inside of the bag. I hope the owner looks into it and correct the situation. These are serious illness causing bugs. Won’t be buying the same brand and at Bharat Bazar anymore!

I have come here numerous times. They offer great selection of groceries. It can get very busy in here at times, especially weekends. Now this market also has a jewelry repair in the back of the store. I took my ring to get sized. The owner was available and he was such a great guy! He fixed my ring on the spot by inserting an adjustable guard. The prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend this place. You can also bring in your watches for repair.

We don’t come to this supermarket often, usually just stop in after getting some dosas in the same strip mall. Things we have go from here include ingredients for pani puri, including the innards and the shells(admittedly I am not familiar with all the names of all the ingredients) and for the most part every part was tasty. Walking down the aisles, this place is not very well lit but appears clean and stocks most things you could need when experimenting with Indian food and snacks.
