This store is my new local yarn store. They have a great selection of yarn from economical to high-end blends. The sales pros assisted my 7-year-old daughter, a beginner knitter, find appropriate yarn and gave me tips on helping her learn to purl. I left with a couple of skeins of really soft merino in a beautiful pinky purple dk weight. They were so kind and knowledgeable. I am dreaming of taking a class there. They teach the knit two socks at once technique!

I wanted to Exchange a pattern that I got last week in a rush while Christmas shopping I did not take the time to look at the needle size etc. I was surprised that I was not able to exchange it – first I was told it was because of copywriter laws then when I questioned that I was told it was company policy. Then I was asked if I wanted to buy another pattern – I declined and will go to another yarn shop with a better attitude.

Great yarn, great staff and great atmosphere. They have two adorable and well behaved dogs who work there. They’re almost better than the yarn. Almost. They’ve got Malbrigo and Tosh. Nice patterns. Fun people… the kind of place where they get to know you and offer help generously.

Two quiet, well-behaved, adorable dogs greet you once you’re inside. The shop feels cozy and the owners make you feel welcome. Reasonable prices. Yarn is attractively arranged, well organized, and the store is roomy enough to be easy to browse. Table, chairs, and benches, so you can sit and knit or crochet.
