DON’T DOIT! Rude owner. Extremely poor customer service. All he cares about is taking the money and he disappears. Rented the ranch for a wedding. First guest comes to the office to check in and owner says«What do you want?». He messed up reservations and would not accommodate or refund. I was very embarrassed as our guests called him«rude» «a prick» and an «a-hole». STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE, PLEASE.

We loved our stay at Tin Star. We stayed in the Settlers cabin. We had wanted to stay in the Frontier cabin but they moved us. I think we ended up staying in a bigger cabin because they had some wasp issues in the Frontier but it didn’t matter because it was a really cute cabin also. There was no one in any of the other cabins. And we set up rocking chairs on the central deck to watch the meteor shower that was peaking. It was lovely, quiet and there was a cool breeze blowing so no mosquito bites. The cabin had a stove top, microwave, coffee pot, fridge/freezer, and all the kitchen cups, plates and utensils you could need. It also had a giant whirlpool tub. I mean a seriously giant tub. I’m not sure how often the whirlpool is cleaned but the shower/bathroom was really nice. Everything seemed well kept and the sheets and towels smelled fresh and clean. One of the care-takers of the property gave us a tour around the massive grounds the next morning. It was lovely. The only thing that would have set this over the top would be a breakfast. We really wished that there had been a breakfast option(because town is so far). Also note to Unilocalers– don’t use B&B Reservation service. They overcharge you and tack on lots of fees they can’t explain. Really disappointed about that but it’s not Tin Star’s fault. They are very friendly. We’d like to have a retreat here and it seems that they could accommodate us easily.
