Great camp resort just outside Fredericksburg. They office campsites, RV park and cabins. The campground bathrooms were very clean and all cabins had fire pits with basic kitchen utilities. I visited in November, so didn’t try out the pool, but the large jumping pillow was a blast. Along with the pillow, they had a game room with ping pong and a pool table. There is also a small store onsite with your basic needs.

This really was as good as it gets! We just returned from a 2-night tent camping trip(Thu/Fri nights) and we have nothing but good things to say about our experience there. First, it’s beautiful! It feels new and luxurious. The style of the buildings is very perfectly Hill Country, very pleasant to look at and be in. The bathrooms feel more like a sit-down restaurant than a campground. They even have granite countertops. And did I mention, spotless? Just like every other part of the campground. There is a lot of heart and soul put into this place and you can tell that the staff just really enjoy being there. We constantly saw the familiar faces out and about setting up games and activities for the kids, changing out trash bags, cleaning up, asking if we needed anything, and generally going out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We set up tents in sites #4 and #5 in the garden area. I would recommend these sites, especially to those with kids as you can see the jumping pillow and volleyball/sand pit area very well. These sites are also well-shaded. Each site has a moveable picnic table, and an electric hook-up. Be sure to bring your own grill. We showed up without one but luckily the staff had a little one for to use. They even helped us start the coals up. The only criticism to note is that the fire bowls at our sites were damaged beyond use. We borrowed one from a vacant campsite so it was not a problem, but on a weekend you might not be that lucky – bring your own if you can. However, there is a very large main fire pit area in the communal space as an alternative. Also, it has been raining a lot lately so bugs are out and about, especially ants. Jellystone treats for them but they can’t keep up. Bring ant repellant or something, maybe cinnamon to sprinkle around the tent and campsite. We will definitely be returning to Camp Jellystone in Fredericksburg. In fact, none of us wanted to leave, and the kids all wished we could live there. We hope to make another trip with some family who will rent a cabin that is right in the tent area(Cabin #8 I think) – perfect! It’s a great place for both campers and glampers. Many thanks to everyone at Jellystone that made this a 5-star experience!

So amazed with this place! The facility was so clean and well-kept. They had plenty of space for showering and washing dishes and it was really modern. We don’t have kids, so we didn’t participate in any of the family activities, but we did walk past the amphitheater and it looked awesome. On Saturday we went to the wineries and most of them were within 5 minutes which was really convenient. This place made camping easy for me as I’m not a rough and tough type. It was a nice transition to an outdoors experience. Can’t wait to come back!

One of the best! Easy check in and friendly service. The grounds are beautiful and modern. Pool, hot tub, jumping pillow, outdoor movietheater, gorgeous clubhouse with store great room, pool tables, ping ping table and more! Wine tasting on Saturdays although we missed it. It’s a little on the expensive side, but worth it.

Wanted to tent camp before it got sweltering hot but my family doesn’t really rough it, this place was perfect. Worth it for the bathrooms and showers alone, then you get a pool, movies at night, a wine tasting, hay rides for the kids, and even game rooms. The owners were wonderful, also we got to tour a cabin and those are great, also. We will totally be back. Close enough to town and wineries across the street, we day-tripped to Enchanted Rock State Park one day and Pendernales Falls State Park the next.

Wonderful place! Lots of activities for the kiddos and within a mile of about 5 Vineyards! Allen and his wife were very sweet and welcoming. Camping sites were nice sized and well kept. Bathrooms were so clean, nice and great showering accommodations. We will be back… Very soon :) The only downside is that they were planing new grass and making improvements.

Texas wine country Jellystone is a camping rv park near Fredericksburg Texas that has 85 rv sites 8 cabins a huge shower house a heated pool and an amphitheater for movies and local entertainment. All brand new and clean. The kids love the general store and riding the tractor on a hayride around the 200 acres. Us adults love the peaceful country atmosphere. Wine enthusiasts love the 33 vintners near this camping ground. Soon tent pads will be added for more camping choices. My favorite is the cottage number 1 with 1 bedroom queen size bed two flat screens and sleeper sfa in living room. Kitchen has full size refrigerator, ice maker, granite counter coffee pot, toaster and all nesssary equipment for a simple meal. The hot tub was warm enough for a nighttime relaxing soak. The stars were beautiful. Yogi booboo Cindy and ranger all came out to greet the kids.
