Great ice cream and really nice people working there. I was traveling from Florida to New York and stopped for food. Saw this place and gave it a shot. So happy I did.

We had the nutty buddy and a chocolate milkshake. There’s something wrong with the ice cream. It melts like crazy. I was in an air conditioned car and the cone still created a huge mess. And although I had a chocolate cone that was quite dark there wasn’t much flavor. The shake was decent. I would not go out of my way to go back. Especially since I now have to clean my seatbelt, carpeting and console.

We stopped on a road trip and let me just tell u this is not the place for travel ice cream. Even small is the size of a large at a typical ice cream place. Although the ice cream is very good it is very messy. Previous reviews recommend the nutty buddy which is fantastic if u can eat fast before the chunks of chocolate begin melting off the sides. It got to the point that my crazy old mother threw my ice cream out the window because of what a mess it made. If you want to enjoy a nice ice cream at their picnic tables its great but if your hitting the road with it i wouldnt recommend it.

We stopped by recently on our drive from Maryland back to North Carolina. Just happened to see this place as we were leaving the Taco Bell in front and decided to let the kids have a treat. So glad we did. The kids had shaved ice and really liked it… the portion size was large and plenty of flavored syrup. I went for the«nutty buddy», which is basically soft-serve ice cream in a sugar cone, dipped in chocolate and peanuts. It was SO good! The best nutty buddy(far better than the frozen pre-made ones) I’ve ever had. The ice cream is pretty rich, probably one of the best soft-serve ice creams I’ve ever had too. Definitely recommend this place! Positive: Really good soft-serve ice cream. Try the«nutty buddy»!
