Legacy Home Accent

I stop here every time I am downtown and find something that catches my eye each time. The staff is outstanding — telling you something about a piece you never thought of. Great selection and prices not outrageous. Love it! From art work to books to Crabtree & Evelyn body lotions, jewelry, home decorations — all stunning!

This is one of my very favorite stores in Fredericksburg! Every time I come to town I have to go in and browse; very unique items and always something here I want to buy — something for everyone on any list that I might have! Another neat thing is this store has so much for all types of taste and doesn’t duplicate other stores in the area! A MUST stop and shop when I’m in town!

Legacy is a fantastic shop! They have great home interiors and a fantastic selection of ladies’ fashion accessories! Their scarf collection right now is AMAZING. They change the items seasonally and have so many fantastic pieces for any type of home. No matter your style, there is something for everyone. Love this shop!

This place is a funland for decorating enthusiasts. I definitely don’t claim to have the talent for design, but love this place just the same. Every time I stop in here there is always something new to excite me and gets my inner home decorator to come out. During my last trip I was struck by awe of the Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations that greeted me upon entrance. I normally don’t decorate too much for the holidays because I hate to waste the time and money on something that won’t last. However, I was about ready to break my rule after browsing through Legacy’s seasonal offerings. The glittering turkey centerpiece is still calling my name.
If there is a specialty worth pointing out among all the great items it would be the pillows. There is not a central location for they in the store, but you will no doubt notice them esthetically scattered throughout the different displays. I have to admit that I have somewhat of a pillow fetish. If I had less self control I doubt there would be one chair, couch, or bed in my house that wouldn’t be piled with pretty, although total useless, pillows. If you suffer from the same problem you might want to put this place on the danger list. It’s pretty hard not to burn up the plastic buying one of every pillow in this place. I’m glad I always have a buddy with me when I go, or I might have long since gone bankrupt buying stupid (yet awesome!) pillows.
If you are looking for quality, unique accents for your home, or you’re just wanting some afternoon entertainment shopping, Legacy is the place to go. Just make sure to block out a fair amount of time so you can check out everything they have to offer. It will take you a while to go through it all.
