Good food and delightful staff! Falafel was a bit dry– but overall a nice experience. My husband loves the lamb curry!

One of my favorite places. The Indian foods are very good; the Middle Eastern selections need some work, but they’re not too bad. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The owner/manager has high standards and it shows.

What a great little place! I went for the spicy chicken gyro(I was torn between so many things that sounded so good) with the hummus to start the meal. The gyro was HUGE, good ratios of meat, sauce, veggies. The hummus was quite tasty and the pita was perfect.

Beside the strip mall atmosphere, Baba Ganoush is one of the better Mediterranean and or Indian food places around. The dishes are an interesting mix of anything that can come on a pita, whether that is paneer, chicken tikka, or kebabs, also available as a platter. The atmosphere is not much to speak of. The outdoor tables are nice and dog friendly. Service is a bit grumpy, but warmed up as we ate. It’s counter service only, but food is made fresh and fairly quickly. The naan is fantastic and fluffy. The chicken is perfectly cooked tandoori style with a nice moistness and packed with flavor. For a strip mall lunch spot, it’s hard to find better.

Wow– so good! The chicken shawarma Bowl was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. Chicken kabobs were moist and delicious — serving size is generous. Will come back!

Excellent Mediterranean restaurant. Stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It’s fast casual but was very good. I had a chicken gyro which came on an amazingly light and fluffy piece of Nan bread(as opposed to the normal pita). Price was good too. Definitely will be back

Phenomenal food. First time I went, I had no idea what I was eating but enjoyed every bite. I think it’s the best food on the planet!

I met a friend here yesterday for lunch, halfway between the towns we live in. We both had a hard time finding the restaurant, but it was well worth the search. Excellent, delicious food, large portions, cheerful staff. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Fredericksburg.

We love this place for the food! It’s quick and a paper napkin kind of place. Don’t expect super friendly service or an amazing atmosphere. If you’re looking for great naan and hummus this is it! Even my three-year-old loves it.

Seems like every time we are in the area, this is our go to location for dinner. Very friendly staff and food is fresh and delicious! Bonus: You can have(bottled) beer with your meal if you’d like. Almost always have leftovers and leave fat and happy.

This is in the Eagle Village shopping center. Pretty plain looking place, with a TV with football on. They didn’t leave a good impression at first, as our food was slow to come out, and they forgot our naan to start. But, the owner did bring us out spicy hummus to make up for it. That being said, the food that came out really made up for it. Lamb saag and the chicken kebab came in huge portions and were perfectly spiced. Excellent side of chickpeas, as well. More expensive than the average Indian restaurant, but high quality.

Not so much to write, they are a little on the disorganized side but food was good. Credit card machine didn’t work so the owners asked for cash and took off a couple of dollars from the bill. Will go back if I am ever in the area again. Humus and baba ganush were good, chicken was goo but the falafel was too crunchy.

This is great Indian food at a reasonable price. And you don’t even have to go to India to get it. I ordered Saag Salmon, a combination I have never tried before. Spinach and salmon with fresh cilantro and a couple of small pieces of potato. There was lots of salmon and it tasted fresh! They asked how spicy I wanted it and I said medium. It was a little more spicy than my comfort level but it came with rice snd naan. From my experience, food is usually more spicy in college towns! I had a little trouble finding the place. When you turn off the highway, take a right turn and go back toward the highway. Take a left and it is on your left. Next to a coffee place. Not much ambience. For a romantic dinner, get take-out ! And BYO beer! Highly recommended if you love Indian food! Veg dishes as well as meat and fish ! I rarely get this excited about a new restaurant. Try it !

This has become my favorite kabob place in the Fredericksburg area. My wife and I ordered takeout from here the other night and we were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food. They price is maybe couple $ more than your usual average kabob place, but they definitely make it up for it with the ridiculous amount of food. A take out meal could certainly be broken into 2 portions. Baba Ganoush currently offers a coupon on which helps out with the cost. Will definitely be back again!

This place is fantastic, our family has eaten here many dozens of times. If you’ve had middle eastern grilled meat kabobs, mezzas and pseudo-Indian curries, this will be familiar. A mix of They also have other things like gyro, salads, etc. They have an all you can eat lunch buffet until maybe 3pm that’s a good deal. They also have a tasty small appetizer of their homemade pita bread with white cheese on top. Like garlic cheese bread or a white pizza. I’m surprised their green cilantro salsa is so very sweet. I’m more familiar with it being salty and spicy, and I would prefer it that way. They have a second green«baba sauce» that seems to be that mixed with mayo. To avoid confusion, I’d request and confirm there’s at least one of each in your bag, or whichever one you prefer. Keep your eyes open for some unusual choices in their bottled drinks and frozen desserts. Examples can include Stella Cidre hard cider, middle eastern non-alcoholic fruit flavored malt beverages, and ice cream pops in flavors like cardamom kulfi, mango, etc. We get great service from«Romeo,» he’s friendly and accommodating and keeps us coming back.

This place is soooooo yummy! I ordered the lamb gyro wrap and it was amazing! The only reason I didn’t give this restaurant a five-star rating because the wait for the food was a little long. Definitely a stop for anyone who likes Mediterranean food!

We were sold the buffet, which at $ 11 is a good deal. But we had to wait some time for rice, naan, and butter chicken. Tried a little bit of everything and there really wasn’t anything I thought was very good. Favorite was butter chicken but it was sweet and tasted like the sauce was a base of ketchup with other stuff added in. Nothing was fresh(except the things we had to wait on) but for a pretty slow buffet that was expected Not familiar with Fredericksburg options but I’d go elsewhere

This place is awesome! I always just get the curry, and they make it spicy number 7 for me. I like the curry there because they use dark meat and authentic sauces/spices. Very much tomato based for the vindaloo. The bread/naan is perfect and the baba ganoush is so garlicly… its perfect. You can’t beat their prices too and the customer service is excellent… Romeo. :-)

Stopped in for lunch this afternoon. On the door before entering there is a sign for 7 lunch dishes for $ 7. In addition there was a large lunch buffet for $ 9.99. We were slightly early for lunch, probably 11:45, on a Thursday — and there wasn’t a soul in the restaurant, although it opens at 11am. There was no table service — we walked up to the counter where we were offered the buffet or a list on a board above to order from. The $ 7 options were available either in bowl or in wrap form. I had a chicken curry bowl, and my colleague had the chicken shawarma wrap. The bowl was excellent — basmati rice, then tomato and cucumber and salad fixings, topped with a generous portion of curry chicken in a delectable sauce. The flavors and quality of food ingredients were both five star. My colleague’s wrap was enormous — she ate only half of the delicious looking pita/wrap bread. I will definitely come again, for the prices, quality and quantity of food. As for ambiance there is little — it has a cafeteria vibe, or the vibe of a peruvian chicken joint. There was beautiful mediterranean artwork on the walls, but the tables were bare, and the environment was sparse. I’d recommend it for a tasty lunch joint.

I was on my way to have sushi with my mom when she saw Baba Ganoush and insisted we go here instead. After all sushi restaurants are everywhere, but it’s not always easy to find good Mediterranean. We were not disappointed. The staff were incredibly friendly as soon as we entered. The young man at the counter suggested we try the buffet since we had not been there before, and explained all the options. I was surprised but pleased to see Indian food at the buffet, since it wasn’t advertised by the restaurant name. Everything I tried was excellent. The babaganoush and hummus were thick and well seasoned, and was wonderful with the fresh naan that was brought to the table. The tabbouleh was fresh and made predominantly with fresh parsley(as opposed to bulgar). The stuffed grape leaves, which I have not been a fan of in the past, were deliciously tender and have changed my mind about them. And the 6 Indian dishes over rice were all amazing, especially the chicken masala. The meal was topped off with a great rice pudding. Overall the food surpassed my expectations, the service was friendly and attentive while not being overbearing), and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely return whenever I’m in the area.
