Professional and friendly! Great place for a great haircut! Jay and Patrice are the best and they never forget a face. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday they open at 6 a.m. All other days they open at 7.

I’m a huge supporter of downtown businesses and i’ve been coming here for 6 years with my son. It’s a great place for adults to get a haircut but not a child that does not like haircuts. We’ve jumped ship to a bigger box store hair cut place where the young lady cutting his hair is patient and smiles and is so sweet… not asking for a lot. Just a smile and some patience.

This place is still here?! Well, this is definitely not «retro,» but instead it’s the real deal. It’s been here as long as I can remember, though the barbers come and go over the years. Every kid needs to have the experience of going to a real barber shop and not some silly supercutz. And it’s a real downtown business from before downtown got all gentrified. check it out!

What’s not to love about the downtown barber shop with old-​style chairs and blue/​red barber pole? Frederick men (and moms) seem to love this place, because I don’t think I’ve ever walked in here — at various times midweek — where there hasn’t been several people or families ahead of me, and several after me by the time I’m done.
If you’re looking for the latest Johnny Depp do, this isn’t your place. But my #2 buzz is in capable hands here, with a shave is thrown in for good measure.
