I had a wrap ($ 6.79), which came with my choice of side (kale-​apple slaw, fruit medley, bagged chips, or a piece of fruit). Since there was no additional charge for fake chicken strips, I ordered one of the «chicken» varieties. Being a vegetarian, I’ve had my share of fake meats. Chicken strips are probably the worst out there, and these were no exception. They felt and tasted like erasers. Not Tropical Smoothie’s fault, that’s just how they are. So, next time I come my only vegetarian sandwich choices are the hummus wrap, or one of the omelet ones.
I tried a smoothie, also. No complaints. Its hard to make a bad smoothie (as long as there is enough sugar). Smoothies are around $ 5, and there is plenty of variety to please everyone.
There are 5 tables in the place, but it seemed that most people were getting take-​out.

Sitting here right now enjoying this delicious smoothie. It was pretty busy but they were quickly cranking them out. It’s nice and new and clean and everyone is friendly. Did I mention the smoothie is delicious?
I’m a big fan of Tropical Smoothie in general but it’s been a few years since I have been in one. They still have some old favorites but lots of new stuff, too. Can’t wait to try some of the new food items (but I’ll have to have a good old Jamaica Jerk wrap first).

Fantastic. Stopped in for a smoothie and was amazed that they are actually affordable, unlike Smoothie king. The quality was great, very fresh, staff were helpful. I can’t say anything bad about this place.

One love, one heart! This place rocks! The owners are young professionals, the service is mostly run by someone who could be your grandma/​momma. The environment is pleasant. The Island music is a great touch, and the smoothies are DELICIOUS. BUT, not only are they tasty with fresh ingredients, they are affordable. I like the smoothie king, but I can’t afford $ 10 smoothies all the time. The prices are low and the drinks come in 24 oz! That’s a lot of smoothie. Add to it or take away ingredients as you wish. They are near the health and fitness gym. I have been twice already and plan to keep going back. Nice to have an option for a great protein drink on this side of town. Oh did I say that the place has a bar and stools, as well as tables to just sit with friends for a bit? My almost 10-​year-​old loves it. GREAT Friday night treat!
