Most incompetent business I have come across in forty years period. Contracted them to replace and install a new kitchen floor. I was promised that their installers who were from Indonesia were competent and experienced. The first hour they were here they cracked the molding and wall while removing the original floor. I should have fired them on the spot but let continue as they laid the subfloor. The next day I called my usual contractor who I should have used in the first place even though he is very expensive. He and his partner came over and said the whole subfloor was improperly laid and had to be removed. The Stoup General Manager and lead foreman came over and agreed that the whole subfloor and grout had to be removed. I fired them immediately and they refunded ¾ of the materials and work I paid for. I signed a release which I now regret as my crew was short of tiles although the Stroup salesman measured the floor on two different occasions. From start to finish this was the most unprofessional crew and company I have ever dealt with in the housing industry. I cannot believe how many unsuspecting people without a construction background have been deceived and will be stuck with their shoddy work. Avoid using this company at all costs. I am shocked, dismayed and appalled that Flooring America would let Stroup represent them in this manner.

The customer service was awesome they helped us pick out flooring that we loved and that was with in our budget then scheduled the installation around our schedule which is not easy. We had Tile put in our kitchen Hard wood in the living room and carpet in the bedrooms as well as a tile backslash workmanship was excellent the installers were very friendly and very good at their trade. We have an old house with a lot of issues. They took care of all the preexisting issues and made our house look new. we could not be more pleased! VERYHAPPY! we will use them again next time for sure.

This company is bar-none the best flooring retailer in Frederick County. I met Gil Stroup through him doing business with my company. He is a true professional and gentleman. His staff is also friendly and helpful. I had wood floors installed in approx 2⁄3 of my townhome to match the existing wood floors. Even though Gil did not stock or carry the line, he got it for me a competitive price and did the work for me. His crew did an excellent job. They worked as fast as they could(big project), were extremely polite, and even stayed late on a Saturday evening to finish the work. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves. You should consider doing business with this company even if it were to cost you a little bit more money. You will not be disappointed with the work and experience.
