Amazing atmosphere and really hope food! You feel like you’ve gone back in time in the Dungeon where the bar is — which is pretty cool!

We love this place! This was our second year celebrating Valentine’s Day there and their food and service is fantastic. It is a bit pricey, but sooooo with it! Their crab dip is a must! It was so good that there wasn’t time to take a picture! The crab cakes are phenomenal! The broiled seafood platter is with it. You get a taste of everything for $ 46. 4 scallops, 5 shrimp, 1 full size crab cake and 1 full size crab imperial. It’s so much, but you will have leftovers for another night!!! The wait staff is great and everyone is on top of their game. Even on an extremely busy night. If you haven’t tried it, it’s a must! We are making plans to go for Sunday brunch soon!

Crab Chowder was excellent. Fired oysters was delicious. Dutches seafood platter was good. Steak and lobster tail was good. Steak was a little salty but good. I would recommend the green beans over the twice baked potato. Both were good. The serves was outstanding. We had Pete for our server. We will return.

Today was my second time visiting this restaurant and I was not disappointed. We had the the Mushroom stuffed caps, Crab cakes and the Chicken & Crab sandwich. The ambiance was very tranquil but inviting. A great place to network if you aren’t shy! We will certainly be back!

I love Dutch’s Daughter. The best Crab cake ever. This is our second time we visited this trip for a family Christmas trip. Our family brought us out here about 4 years ago for dinner when we’ve visited them. It will be a must dine every time we are in town. I highly recommend this seafood place to everyone. We loved everything we ordered… hot&spicy shrimp, lump crab cakes, crab sauté, raw oysters, and they serve full bar. We had some specialty bourbon too… The 3 levels restaurant makes you feel welcome and totally warm atmosphere… 5 dinning rooms… We have only been to lower level which is very nice and comfortable… Very huge and beautiful place to treat yourself to!!!

No body has a better filet mignon! Add a crab cake and, WOW! HANDSDOWN the best bar tender down in the dungeon! I wish I could recall his name! Bad on my part. Anyway, BEST martini’s EVER! The blackened salmon is SOVERY good as well. The atmosphere is wonderful. The servers ARE the BEST! Who needs a Ruth’s Chris steakhouse with Dutch’s around? Top notch!

Absolutely incredible food. Worth the prices. I haven’t had a meal this good in awhile and the portion sizes? ?! I had to take TWO boxes home! I enjoyed the portabella mushroom chicken dish and my friend had the seafood scampi thing. SODELICIOUS and I’m a discerning eater! And our appetizer was just perfect, get the baked brie! I will definitely be back, just as soon as I get more money ;) WORTHIT

Love this place, been there 3 times now and somehow each time gets better. The oysters are the best I have had anywhere. Blue Points served on a plate of rock salt. Just the best food around while you are in the Frederick area

From beginning to end, this establishment knows what they are doing– the food is incredible, but the servers set the bar so high! Karen was as lovely as could be, thoroughly enjoyed my experience with her. Crab cakes– amazing! Crab soup– amazing! Potato chips– amazing! The biggest cheese sticks I’ve ever seen in my life– amazing! Lol also– great happy hour prices! PLUS the owner runs a non-profit called United to Save Animals! BONUS! Will continue to dine and recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Very good steak. Awesome bread with cinnamon and honey butter. Crab Cakes are solid but lack compared to the G&M and Faidley’s of the world

As always, dinner was delicious! I love the 9 oz filet. I order medium rare and they nail it every-time! Twice baked potato is one of my favs! Hubby likes the pork chop, huge and moist! Dutch’s Dungeon, the downstairs, has a great atmosphere! Great place for happy hour with friends or business! Beautiful outside eating in nicer weather! A must try!

Just had a great dinner at Dutch’s Dungeon(around the back side of Dutch’s Daughter). I had the 9 oz filet that literally melted in my mouth. My husband had the broiled seafood platter and loved it. We go to Dutch’s about once a month and have never been disappointed. It serves very high quality food, so you pay a little more, but it is well worth the price.

Random stop for something different on way home from Deep Creek. Delicious lunch. Cream of crab soup, blackened catfish sandwich and a cheese steak. There homemade fries were good too..

Bizzaro World, This place is like the old Sir Walter Raleigh’s from the 70’s but on steroids. Twice baked Potato? Really? Best Crab Cakes? really? It is not hard to make good crab cakes, but 30 bucks for one? But I guess if you like old boring Americana this is your Place. They should have spent less money on the horrible décor and Hired a Chef.

The Restaurant: The place looked a tad bit swanky inside. But has character. Went on a Friday for lunch and was not crowded. The Service: Attentive staff. Took a while to get the food out, but who’s in a hurry to eat lunch and get back to work?! The Food: I went with my gut feeling and recommendations on Unilocal and ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich. Sandwich was good and the crab meat was marvelous. I was getting full fast so I ended up picking out the crab cake and ditching the bread. The order came with house french fried chips. WOW! I loved it, they were cut to a good thickness and had the perfect crunch.

This is a tough review. We came here on a $ 100 gift card. It’s a very nice place on the inside. Reminds me a bit of a country club I used to work at during college. It’s very dark, lots of fancy napkins, circle 6 top tables, linen cloth, etc. It’s seems like pretty standard upscale cuisine: steaks, pasta, seafood. Ok so we had the following: –jalapeño stuffed with cheese/chicken –kids pizza for the 11 year old –steak and lobster with sweet potato –crab cakes broiled with twice baked potato –side salad with adult meals –sangria –grapefruit crush –Boston crème cake –cheesecake with Carmel drizzle –ice cream pie So now that we all look like pigs! OMG that’s kind of embarrassing to list it out like that. LOL Anywho…my crab cakes were good. no filler, but boo. they has shells! I simply cannot handle a shell in my crab cake. The jalapeño appetizer was actually really good. Everything else was pretty standard and nothing special. So our total bill was $ 200. We went one hundred over our gift card. For me… if I am going to spend this kind of money… there are simply better places to go.

Amazing food and service! Everything was fresh and clean. The food wasn’t masked under tons of butter or sauces… Real Seafood Lovers will be in heaven as was I! Pete our server was nice and polite too! Took great care of us.

I was pleasantly surprised by my meal in the dungeon, the downstairs tavern room in this massive place. The menu didn’t appear to have s lot of creative ideas on it, so I ordered the pork chop, said did my wife. When they ran out of pork, I opted for the filet instead. It was well cooked, delicious. My wife’s pork chop was excellent and not overdone. My mothers crab cake was one of the best I had: lots of crab meat and very little else. When we come again, I’m getting that.
