This place is amazing!!! The sandwiches are too die for — the Tarantella is my favorite as well as the Colleen. I’ve also purchased cheese here which was all very very delicious. We got a cheese out of the cold case in a little plastic tub — a blend of cow, goat and sheep milk, it was divine. A great little business that has really improved the downtown food scene.

The choices of cheeses are overwhelming but after Sharon (the owner) gave us wonderful recommendations and samples I have settled on a chunk of Cotswold and Huntsman. OMG. You have to go there. Love this place!

This is our new favorite place. If you get a chance try the Prairie Breeze cheddar it is so good! We have had the cherry tomato soup, the Coco Chanel and Santi’s Sicilian and it was all extremely good and affordable. Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful. We’ve decided this will be our new Saturday lunch spot.

Happened across this small shop while walking around after the High Wheel Race. I wanted to buy everything in the shop, from the blue dog cream cup to the craft IPAs to the delicious cheeses. I know those so-​called nutritionists warn you to limit your cheese intake but they contain dairy which means calcium which makes for strong bones, so cheese is actually super good for you. Right?
Anyway, I did not buy cheese but since I fortuitously had not had lunch yet, I purchased a Betty Brie sandwich. It consisted of brie obviously, ham, mustard, and cornichons on toasted ciabatta. It was gooey, cheesy perfection. I will definitely be spending a lot of time at this shop!

Impressed. They carry about 100 cheeses right now and are looking to expand to 200 soon. Very knowledgable staff and really friendly. I found the prices competitive. We got two sandwiches — Colleen’s Chevre and La Vita (the exact name is escaping me but it’s cheese with fig jam), both were great. Different samples of cheeses and fig cake were available to taste. Lots of little gift items, chocolates, and wines were available for purchase. I’m so glad when places like this open in Frederick!

Stumbled across this little gem. Wonderful selection of cheese from around the world.
The best, however, is the owner, who has a great knowledge in all the different cheeses, makes recommendations, and offers samples.
Very inviting, very friendly, and fairly priced.
I will most definitely be back.

I love that more and more specialty shops are coming to Frederick. I also love cheese. Today was a good combination for me. Crisafulli’s has a great selection of cheeses, each with a card stating where they are from and a bit about the cheese. Besides cheese, they also have various organic chocolate bars, antipasta and spreads and WINE! I was here on a lunch break at work and had their delicious caprese sandwich and wish I could take a bottle of wine back to work with me.
