Good place to hang out and shoot pool. Also it seems they have some fun activity going on every night… poker, trivia, karaōke, darts, paint night. Great place great staff. Once you get to know people, its a much better experience.

Maggie was awesome. I stopped at this bar on my bithday and had a phenomenal time. The service was great. I simply came to play pool and the waitresses were always making rounds asking if i i needed anything. When you go here you never have to leave the spot your in. The servers are always running around asking if you need anything. We did order some food and it was as awesome. And mind you this was on a sunday night!!! Great bar. I loved customer service. Drinks were strong, food was great and pool is free if your drinking!!! Lots of pool tables!

My husband and I came in on Saturday night and we actually were able to find two bar stools next to each other — a rarity in Frederick! The bartender was friendly and recommended several beers for us to try and even gave me a sample taste. My husband loved the beer he got and there was quite a selection! I got the Md Shore Platter — a special for the weekend and LOVED it. There was music playing, people playing pool and friendly staff and the other patrons were talkative and nice. The bartender(Maggie) is also the manager and was knowledgeable and always smiling, even when a guest was blatantly rude to her, which I was astonished at but she handled it with ease and a smile. Although the décor is slightly dated, this is a hometown bar with a great selection, yummy food and friendly people. Give it a go!

Went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was silent. One customer complained his tea was cold. We waited just a few minutes, but the lone employee disappeared in the back. We eventually left.

Food is pretty good, but the décor and service needs updating. We came here for an early dinner because we had a gift certificate. This place is a total dive bar with a crowd of regulars playing Keno. There is a sign on the door proclaiming no dirty work boots allowed. There is free billiards with purchase, which is extremely fair. They have specials every night. This place feels a bit old, dark, and a bit depressing. The customers didn’t seem to be smiling and conversing much, and there was no music playing, only the sound of ESPN on very low. However the food was mainly quite good and fairly priced. The onion rings have very good breading, and the ribs were quite delicious. Plus there were green beans(canned-which are my favorite) to make it a well-rounded meal. The peel and eat shrimp was overcooked(some shells were white!) and the fried zucchini was tasteless and not good. The servers move at their own pace, and you can tell they have been getting away with lackluster service for some time. We arrived in the middle of two shifts, and the incoming waitress was eating her dinner right at the bar and gossiping with other staff while we waited for our drink refills. Unprofessional, but she was friendly when she got around to us. Food gets a B, Pricing gets a B, Atmosphere gets a D, Service gets a D. Two stars because although we liked most of the food, we won’t be returning.
