I love this place. I’ve only started going there in the last 2 weeks and am already on the first name basis with the owners. They’re incredibly friendly and sociable. Unlike the shop by my parents house I used to go to these guys understand customer service is the key so a successful business. They actually have a collectors club that saves you money that I intend to join very soon. One time fee and they hook you up for as long as you want. I from here on out am a regular at this store.

My son LOVES Wolverine & many other Marvel Stars Christmas or Birthdays, make Comix Corner a must stop on my list. I went here twice last week, Dan the owner is so VERYHELPFUL& knows where every title is or how to get it. This week I hit the 8 comic books for $ 5 rack & got some great selections. I also needed several new Wolverines, which Dan had on a back rack for $ 1 a piece. Plus I missed it before, but will hit it every time from now on, Dan has a bulk purchase area fairly new titles $ 2 a pound or a .25 a piece If you buy over 10 pounds it drops to $ 1.79 Great easy in easy out location on Utica Road. Plus he is 50 yards from the Fraser Post office so getting my sons gifts in the mail was easy!

This place was my home base for more than a decade. Only if they didnt have what I was looking for did I venture elsewhere. The proprietor is a very tall, unusually loud and fast speaking fellow who is happy to help. If youre looking for this week’s fix, this is the place to go.

This isn’t the shop to go to If you’re looking for memorabilia or tshirts. It’s very straight to the point– here’s this weeks comics on the wall and the back issues are in boxes. Friendly staff, especially if you’re a regular. Dan(owner) makes my visits very quick and I enjoy that. If you don’t see an issue that you want, ask him to order it for you and he will. Eventually, he started to pick up on what writers/artists I like and he just ordered things that i didn’t know about but love! Great shop.

Great store, great comics, and great service. I’ve been a member for over 15 years, and will continue to be going forward. If you are interested in comics at all, you need to go to Comix Corner and say hi to Dan and Keith. I haven’t been to the other location, but with Dan in charge I have no doubt that everything is as it should be.

i really wasn’t all that impressed with my visits to the comix corner during my short stay on the east side. the guy behind the counter was nice enough and the fact that he had a incentive for real collectors(those who buy monthly) was pretty cool. the thing that sucked was this place had the smallest amount of stock i’ve ever seen in a comic store. the store in my hometown of waterford, mi had a larger selection and waterford isn’t a huge town. love, juston

Who can forget Comix Corner? This place has been around for as long as I can remember. That alone makes me want to throw piles of money at them to read the newest rags and mags. One thing I did enjoy about CC when I was a regular, was the option to throw $ 20 at them, and become a member of CC; then, you give them a list of what you want them to hold for you, and once a month you can come in to get your books at a discounted price. Not bad, eh? One thing I do like are places that don’t favor one side of the DC Marvel rivalry. I mean, sometimes you feel like Silver Surfer, sometimes you feel like Sandman, you know? CC is a great place for everyone, large or small press, Marvel or DC. CC is also one of the shops that stocks gaming supplies; manuals, map-making supplies, dice, etc. Rolled your last D-10 into the heater vent? Run to Comix Corner! I can’t say enough good about this place because they’ve been on the East side for as long as I have. Anyone dedicated enough to geeks all over Michigan to keep this cultural icon open for 20+ years is someone who deserves my(and ultimately your) money.
