Excellent selection. Best liquor store in the area. Didn’t know about their out of state license policy but they wouldn’t be the first. Massachusetts has long history of strict laws involving alcohol consumption and purchase

This store has a ridiculous policy. They refuse to sell alcohol to people with out of state ID’s. I moved to mass from out of state a year ago and have never had any issues at other liquor stores or bars. I offered to give multiple forms of ID’s but the girl at the register refused to sell me anything. If you’re out of state don’t bother going here unless you are over 30 years old.

I walk in to village mall to pick up beer for a friend who is having a BBQ. I traveled from New York and wanted to get cold beer closer to the event. This place refused to serve me (I’m 24) and will refuse anyone out of state who was born after 1987. I thought I was done with age discrimination. Village mall liquids definitely put me in my place.

Great place! Huge selection of microbrew beers, and all the staff I’ve ever dealt with have been great too. Very helpful… they’ve put me on to some good beer I might not have ever tried!
