My husband and I had dinner there. He ordered the Corned Beef Sandwich. The bread was old and dried out. It’s a sandwich, shouldn’t the bread be good? I had the Reuben. Horrible. If I had 1 tablespoon of kraut on my sandwich I’d be surprised. They must use the round instead of the brisket because it was very dry with no marbling whatsoever. We ordered 1 piece of fish to try it and that was quite tasty. Prices were ok, but they must have an inexperienced cook in the kitchen to make such bad errors. Very disappointed.

The food has been fantastic on my last 3 visits. I highly recommend the twin Irish filets and/or reuben quesadilla. The last two servers left some friendliness to be desired, and seemed to be annoyed when those I was dining with would make a simple request(like more hot water for tea). However, it’s a great place for hanging after work and I will likely return soon.

Worst stew ever! The Irish Lamb Stew was horrible! The potatoes were under cooked and hard. I ate pieces of meat which I guess we’re cartilage, at first I thought it was how lamb meat tasted. The service was ok, I guess I came in on an off day. I am not going to find out because I will not be coming back.

The food is good so I bought a gift card for my dad. The moron who rang up the gift card gave herself a $ 100 tip instead of billing the $ 100. When I spoke to the manager he was extremely rude. So the $ 100 gift card cost me $ 200 until they credited my account 5 days later. I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t have an extra $ 100 laying around. This was a real hardship I had to borrow the $ 100 until my account was credited. I will never buy a gift card here again. And if the manager doesn’t learn some customer service I won’t return for the food either

Great place for meeting friends for the best happy hour in the area. 7 days a week. You have to try the sweet & Spicy Wings. They are the best. Drink prices are great. One of the best places to watch all your favorite sporting events. The Reuben sandwich is out of this world.

First time here. Had a good time. Not crowded at all, I assume because of the crazy snow and freezing rain storm. Food was good and portion were large. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We had the Shepard pie and the fish and chips. Lots of tv’s to watch the games. We will come back.

Nothing but good food… good beer… good service! We had the pretzel and beer battered cheese curds, fish n chips, bacon wrapped meatloaf sliders. The food had the best flavors! Come here and see for yourself!

Very poor food and service. It took us a long time to get our food. The chicken sandwich was very dry. Not a place that I would like to visit again.

I love Mulligan’s. It’s become our regular date night spot. The food is always good and fast. The service is great too. A few of the many times I went there, they were out of their delicious vegetarian chilli I love. They felt so bad they remember this and every time I go there now, they tell me right away that they have the chili I love. Great food. Great service. And an excellent place to stop in late Saturday night for desert. I love the Kiss Me I’m Irish martini as a sweet after dinner drink.

This review gives me a chance to address one of my culinary pet peeves. OK… here it is. Why do so many restaurants try to offer 5,000 things? This menu is so ridiculously huge, there is no way to do it all well. The best thing I had was the appetizer sampler which probably was pre-purchased frozen product. My Reuben Soup had very little flavor and my Guinness® Braised Beef Stew was so salty, I could barely taste any of the ingredients. My friend did like his Burger, so I’ll probably be back and try a Burger or Corned Beef. Our Server was friendly and they are wheelchair accessible.

Great place to go for Happy Hour! ½ price appetizers, discounts on domestic and tap beers… great appetizers, not just your typical bar food. We had beer cheese dip that came with a variety of vegetables and pretzel bread for dipping and corned beef dippers that were served on pretzel buns, opened faced, with thousand island dressing and horseradish for dipping sauces. Both were excellent and a steal at $ 5 each for happy hour. Their drink menu is very large and the service was excellent from our bartender Karrie. I wish we lived a little closer because we would be back more often, but we’ll still make the stop out, especially when the weather is nice. They have a nice outdoor patio area as well. The rest of their menu looks great also! Can’t wait to come back!

Nothing better than a fish fry on a Friday night in Wisconsin. It’s been months since I’ve been to Mulligan’s but last time I was there, they had a great happy hour special with half off apps. Was a great deal. My sister and I were thinking of places to go for a fish fry, particularly places that would still be serving food since it was already 9pm. She said she knew Mulligan’s would be open and heard they have a good fish fry. The place was busy when we got there but we were seated right away. We both ordered our haddock beer battered, the best way to go. I glanced over at the table who ordered theirs breaded and it just did not look good. For my side I chose the potato pancakes and my sister went with the colcannon mashed potatoes. Both were good though I think the potato pancakes were a bit better than the mashed potatoes. The price isn’t bad either, $ 10.95. Will be back!

Another case of bad management. The staff is there, they just don’t know any better. So, to the server that ignored me all night, you weren’t tipped because you passed me dozens of times while my glass was empty for 10 minutes. My appetizer plate was not cleared for 15 minutes. You never asked for my dinner order. I would have liked a refill. I would have liked desert, or at least an entrée. You didn’t even pay any attention until I dropped my credit card out in defeat. Maybe you didn’t want me to stay and spend any more money. Your loss.

I’m very upset that i have to give such a low score. I used to love coming here when I lived in the area. Now, not that it’s a far drive, it’s just inconvenient for me to get to regularly. Tonight I decided to visit because I had a coupon and fond memories. Ugh… We were seated promptly and the waitress was attentive but that’s about it. My husband ordered a very poorly poured Black & Tan — it was all tan with a lot of foam. I had ordered a lemonade but it was gross, like sour water, and I didn’t want to drink it so I asked for a root beer instead. When the bill came I was charged for both item. I know it’s only $ 2.50, but I couldn’t drink it because it was awful. I wouldn’t charge someone for something that they can not consume through no fault of their own. That’s just poor customer service and left about as bad a taste in my mouth as that lemonade. Last disappointment of the evening: Fries cost extra! Seriously Mulligans, what happened? I don’t even want to come back after tonight.

Mulligan’s is refreshing Irish Pub(A Gathering Place). Eighty percent of the time the fare is wonderful and the fun contagious. Unfortunately, this St. Patrick’s Day Mulligan’s missed the target completely. We had 11 friends come for the breakfast — not one was pleased with their food. Eleven unsatisfied customers. Regardless if it was the Full Irish, Shepard’s Pie, or the Corned Beef Hash the food was not good. On the other hand our server was excellent even on this busy day. This is the second bad St. Patty’s Day experience — this is the last!

Mulligans. There’s just no improvement. I continue to bring some business here because it’s the best thing closest to the office. But I need to list some of the constructive criticism(although no one is probably listening…) — Shorten The Menu! for Pete’s sake there are about 250 things listed. Just knock it off already. No business can offer a high quality meal with that amount of options. Stick to what you do best and just offer those. Aren’t you Irish, or something? I just don’t get it, Mulligans. — So Much Hit and Miss! Blueberry goat cheese steak salad, served with balsamic on the side. Pretty effing good aside from the wimpy steak showing. Keep this one on your shortened menu but BEEF up the BEEF! Shit. (continue reading for the«misses») — Tomato soup — how do you eff that up?! I think it was tomato basil as a matter of fact. My co-worker and I were expecting a nice bright red, seasoned maybe a sparkle of olive oil and garlic… mmmm. Sounds nice doesn’t it? Well, that’s not what we received. It was thickened or something. I know this from the thick, cloudy, white balls of chunks in my soup. You guys, I couldn’t screw up gravy at home this much if I even tried. Don’t thicken tomato basil soup. Period. If you thicken any other food ingredient ever, I can tell you my grandma’s trick: shake a small part of the hot liquid really really hard in a small container until the starch or flour is mixed in… pour into larger batch of liquid that needs thickening. Done! :) Repeat, if necessary. This particular night(cause I brought 6MORE people from work to this joint) we only had appetizers: — Rueben Quesadillas Yes! Just Yes! This one tasted made for real. The tortillas not greasy. The meat seemed to be fresh and this one I’d really recommend. — Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls Dear God No. Irrefutably and utterly disgusting. Yes, there was a punch of spice. But Sysco gross food all the way. If I am wrong and this food only tastes Sysco terrible, change the recipe at once! And that’s not even the worst part… it was so salty that I could not even finish one half of one piece. Please, just don’t. — Mozzarella Sticks Ok, I am self-coining myself the mozzarella stick Queen because I loooooove them so so much and also the marinara sauce that accompanies the precious logs of euphoria. These sticks here a complete crap!!! I’ve had them in dive-ass bars 1000x tastier. Stop buying from Sysco! This is stupid! You have some nice options and a nice place. Please stop serving dumb stuff and shorten the menu to things that can really kick ass!

Some days, we all want to be Irish. But alas, drinking and serving Guinness only makes us Irish wannabes. Mulligan’s has a long way to go. The menu choices were interesting. Some regular old items, some seemingly Irish items, and a few unexpected things. The service was fine. The server wasn’t old enough to drink and was either a super picky eater or a vegetarian. If that’s the case, then she should be asking everyone else about the food so she can respond to a simple question about what’s good here. The food was… how to describe it? It was like the dollar store flip flops of food. Flip flops range from fancy to frilly to comfy to sporty to cheap and sometimes you get lucky and find a really comfy pair that you wear for a long time that were even cheap. The ones from the dollar store are never those lucky finds. The«Irish Nachos» are a ridiculous joke. They claim to be chips, which they are not. They are reheated potato slices. They were otherwise just nachos. Nothing Irish to see here, folks. And, they were made the bad way, as in, cheese sprinkled on top and then melted just enough to not be melty, but get stuck together and force the eaters to get their fingers involved in topping rationing. My husband’s burger was bland and ho-hum. My reuben was icky. Greasy, badly portioned, and dry. Yes, I said it was both greasy and dry. The venue itself looked like it was only keeping up to diveish Irish bar standards and not really trying to be a restaurant. I don’t have any need to return and you, dear Unilocal reader, can find much better Irish wannabe-ness elsewhere.
