food is solid, Danny and his wife are terrific hosts very nice and accommodating but what pushes this location to a higher grade has to be the mysterious mai tai mix, be cautious I never do more than 2 and a generous ½, 3 if you have no plans the following day

Hang Tai has some of the Best General Gau’s(Jordan Chicken) I’ve ever had. Contrary to the Business Listing, they did not offer Delivery when I called today(Sunday). Not sure if delivery wasn’t available for today only, or if they just don’t deliver.

Worst service I have ever received. Would not take a passport as a valid form of ID. The waitress turned around and walked away from us while we were asking a question about the menu. Everything we asked/said she would just say«no» really loud. So incredibly rude. Will never be back here.

Best Chinese food in Franklin. Great drinks, great food, and great bartender. Black pepper steak is my fav, order it w a side of white rice. All the traditional American Chinese food is yummy too(ie: crab Rangoons, beef teriyaki, chicken fingers)

5 for food. My son loves the pupu platter. Try something like that if you’re new. The people also love to keep brining you water so it may be nice or annoying depending on how you see it.

Rude, rude indifferent service; drinks slapped down on table as if you were doing something wrong…(and this was the first drink!)…never asked if we wanted something to eat, we had to beg for that too. I have another place for delicious Mai Tais and snacks WITH customer service!.. p. s.2 stars were for flavor of the drink… atmosphere/décor were in keeping with the staff.

Ok so I’m a big fan a Chinese and Asian fusion. Here are my thoughts, place was kind of dead on a Friday. The bar area the regulars were there, since bar tender was calling them by their name. I ordered the generals gaus chickens it was good, I also ordered the beef in oyster sauce. Holy cow the salt was a little to high I left more than 90% of the dish. We also shared a fried rice which was basic nothing to say wow about, and udon noodle with beef which was good but not great. Would I repeat coming here probably not. The review before me hyped it up. I tried Mah tai, gross, premix stuff. So don’t get them. Service was okay, waiter never came after delivery of food until we flagged him and it wasn’t that busy. Didn’t refill waters even putting them on the edge. We had to ask. Waiter was nice when speaking to us, but a little inattentive. If you ever had Jackies Galaxy or any if the other Chinese this doesn’t compare. Place is inside, very basic nothing crazy, decoration wise. I’m not from Franklin but this seems to be only Chinese place in the area and can understand the previous reviews. The appetiZer was good. We had dumplings with peanut butter sauce that was the high light of the whole meal.

I really like this place, I used to just stop here for a mai tai while waiting for my wife’s sushi order across the street but now I just like coming here regardless! I’ve only had a few items but all were great and the staff and regulars here really are awesome. Someday I may become one but for now I’m am just a «visitor/outsider» and not yet fully accepted into their Polynesian cult. It may have something to do with my boyish good looks and clean close shave…

The food was great the atmosphere was wonderful and the service was really really nice. Some of the same things that I’ve gotten at similar restaurants this place is really good. We did lunch but I’d like to go back for dinner someday soon!

I haven’t written a review in while and they need a new one. Just went last night and it was as amazing as ever. Great service, great food, and great drinks. They have remolded the dinning area and it looks amazing. Very chic. The amount of food and the flavor is outstanding. We always have enough left overs for dinner the next night. Their crab rangoons, peeking ravioli, garlic noodles and beef with broccoli are our favorites. They also have the best mai tai’s in the area.

Oh hang tai how i miss thee… The quality of their food was allways outstanding and always tasted like they used more than teh premade jars of goop that most places use… I still long for their rose shrimp always amazing. Then there is their amazing staff that no matter how long in between visits… allways remembered my order as soon as i walked in… treating your servers nicely goes a long way! Try: Crab Ragoons… always crispy and had fresh crab in them… never sweet :) Shrimp Rose: just so good and have yet to be able o find another place to make it for me. MaiTai: Fresh sour juice… and nice and strong like they should be. Almost worth the trek back to the burbs.

Love Hang Tai. The bartenders are great. The food is great. Some regulars can be creepy but all in all a solid suburban Chinese joint.

Food is ok here, but not up to par like some other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to… I give Hang Tai such a low review because of their staff and my last two experiences here. 1) The waiters/waitresses and even bartenders are quite rude. You get rushed along to order and pay. If you are in the lounge area at a booth, like we were, the waitress we had hung around literally 6 feet from our table — annoying! 2) Also, some drunken fools approached a friend and I at the bar one night. They were being argumentative with us and were trying to cause trouble(keep in mind, we didn’t even know these 2 men) and the bartender was just standing there watching us get harassed by these men! Clearly these guys had too much to drink, but I didn’t come to a place to be harassed! It’s also nice to know that none of the Hang Tai staff would take action for their paying customers.

Food is great. Drinks are great 2 – 3 Mai tai’s and you’ll be feeling all right. All the bartenders are great too. I go all the time and would recommend it. No negatives about Hang Tai, other than not enough seats in the lounge at Medway.

Hang Tai used to be great; lately the food tastes like it’s been reheated more than once; it can still be good, especially if you order something not found on the luncheon special. The drinks are powerful for sure, and the bar is always busy, but I miss the quality and freshness of the old days. Had a craving for egg foo yong a couple of weeks ago, and poured the gravy that came with it down the sink. it was awful! The people who run it are very welcoming, but lately they’ve lost their mojo in the cooking department.
