This is by far the worst doctors office I have ever been to! I can’t believe how rude and unorganized the office staff are! I have been going here for over a year only Bc Dr. Lyons is an awesome doctor, if it wasn’t for the unprofessionalism of the office staff and nurse practitioner(who in my personal opinion should retire) I would of stayed with Dr. Lyons. However, I refuse to wait 30 – 40 min just for a pre made 5 min appointment for shots! When ever I call to make an appointment I can never get through, I have to drive all the way there just to make the appointment! They never sent me a notice that my daughters blood work was back, which I needed for her to start school. The nurse practitioner is extremely judgmental and confrontational and when I told her I didn’t appreciate her being argumentative infront of my two ½ year old daughter her exact response was«she doesn’t understand» I responded with«she absolutely does!» Connie the nurse practitioner laughed at me and walked away!!! It’s been a few days and I’m still waiting for the call from the office manager that Connie threatened me with bc my sick daughter was coughing and sneezing in the wait room and spreading her germs. Anyone who waits an hour in a waiting room with a sick toddler knows it’s impossible to make them keep a face mask on and not sneeze or cough! I’ve never been so shocked and upset in a doctors office before! Please don’t take this review lightly! If you want to save yourself time and aggravation then please don’t come to this doctors office. I promise you it’s not worth the heartache!!! I should have listen to the first persons review and my friends who had similar experiences with Franklin pediatrics. I am surprised there aren’t more reviews bc everyone I know who went here switched within the first couple of years! Again please don’t go here!!! Super unprofessional!

I just got back from taking my youngest here for her one year checkup. We waited for over half an hour in the exam room to be seen, and I’m sure we would have had to wait even longer if I hadn’t made a fuss. I had both my kids with me, they were both sick with colds and neither one could wait for that long in the exam room. I gave up after the half hour and finding someone to ask how long the wait would be and was dressing her to leave when the Dr. finally came in. The exam itself took all of 5 minutes and then a nurse administered some vaccines. I realize there is paperwork involved with every single visit, so that being the case, they should really book appointments in segments longer than 15 minutes at a time. The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars after repeatedly being made to wait for way too long is because the Dr. herself is good. We see Dr. Gifford and although she’s a bit flighty, she is good about diagnosing and prescribing the right things. Really, I’d love it if she would just move to a different office because she is great — the office itself, not so much. I will say though that it’s a waste of time and money to ever call this office if your child is sick. Regardless of what you say, they will advise you to come in. You’ll pay the co-pay, wait for a ridiculous amount of time in a germ-infested sick room then they’ll take a quick glance at your child and tell you to «monitor it». Awesome. Thanks so much for the advice because I was leaning towards«ignore it».
