They make good Indian food! Some dishes like the naan, vegetable paneer dishes and appetizers are in par with some good restaurants I have had in NYC. But when it comes to the Chinese part it is not that great! To be more clear its not consistent. The other day they used basmati rice to make my chili garlic fried rice(it’s basic cooking 101-they don’t mix well) I had to stop after 5 spoons, specially after paying 1.5 times the money than any good Chinese restaurant. Also in their vege biriyani, the masala was very mushy and din’t mix up well. P. S. Stay away from their rice dishes. Overall a nice place to go if you are craving spicy Indian food!

One of the best fusion restaurant. All of the foods are excellent. All of the appetizers are mouth watering. Waiters are excellent and the ambience is nice too. Try Veg Momos, Chilli paneer, Crispy baby corn, Szechwan fried rice. This place is BYOB. Usually we order little extra so we could take home some back.

This place needs more love. In my humble opinion, the food is better than any of the fancier and higher-rated Indian joints in the area. The Goan Fish Curry and Butter Chicken are especially outstanding. We’ve only ever got takeout, but the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Unless something changes, this will continue to be our go-to Indian restaurant. Long may it prosper!

This was a great find! We’ve been here twice once for take out and once eat-in. My husband and I ate in on a Tuesday and couldn’t believe that the place was hopping. We had a short wait for our table. Both times we had the indian food but will be back to try the chinese. We had Tomato soup which was flavorful and had a nice kick of spice in it. The Mulligatawny soup was too spicy. The beet and goat cheese salad was a big portion and really fresh with raw beets. For the main, my husband had the tandoori chicken that was also a big sizzling portion, very well-spiced and tender. I had the Lucknowi biryani that I can’t wait to have again. The chicken in it was boneless and you could get hints of the cloves, cinnamon, and ginger. Neither one of our mains were too spicy. Service was friendly but on the slower side. Given how busy it was that day, I’m not surprised.

Best indo chinese fusion restaurant in the area !!! The menu is really innovative. We went on a girl’s night out and the service we received was outstanding. We ordered the Achari portabella and it was out of the world!!! The mixed grill platter was great but the salmon deserves a special mention. I was worried about the chili lamb and chili chicken that we ordered because most of the restaurants makes it with a thick coating of corn flour… But boy… this Chili lamb was so succulent and meaty !!! The best that I have eaten in any Indian restaurant so far… Schezuan fried rice was amazing too… Desserts were great but my friends complained about the quantity. We ordered Falooda and Cassata. Delicious but meager portions. Over all its a must visit and worth a try… Definitely going back there. I am giving a 4.8 !!!

I ordered dinner for my family from here using grubhub. When we showed up, we found out that grubhub hadn’t actually sent them out order. Hungry and irritated, they quickly made our order for us and even delivered it instead of making us come back for it. Fantastic service and great food. The cardamom lamb was amazing. I will order from here again.

Me and my family went here and my first impression was that it is too small. But we were seated right away. The ambiance was different for an Indian restaurant, which I personally liked very much. The appetizer came pretty quickly and were really good. We ordered Spring rolls and assorted pakoras. The food took a while to come after the appetizers but it was definitely worth the while. I would recommend the chili garlic noodles!!! Overall the food was really yummy and the staff was really friendly. Must go!!!

Came here for the dinner but looks like I am just serving on the air and water for more than an hour. The food is good but if you like to wait for the food for at least 1 hour then this is your place. Giving it 3 out of 5 for the food but none for the service and time taken to deliver the food.

Good food and great service . They have a huge menu, we tried Kai chi which was awesome. We had ordered veg starter which was also good. Pretty much everything we ordered was tasty. The best was — Triple Schezwan fried rice. Will certainly recommend this.

Usually I hate eating out at Indian restaurants, because I think that many Indian restaurants overprice their food. BUT, this place was so decently priced and they give you SOMUCH really good food. My boyfriend ordered the Butter Chicken and I got Paneer. We also ordered 4 naans. When the food came, we did not expect to be getting such big serving sizes plus a bowl of rice! The food was fresh, flavorful, and we each brought home enough leftovers for a second meal. The staff is a little slow during lunchtime, but the amazing taste of their Indian food makes up for that. We’ve come back twice after the first time we went here, and this is now my go to place for lunch/dinner!

I ordered the shrimp pad thai for pick up and was annoyed that there was absolutely no employee in sight when I entered the restaurant. I waited for about five minutes and even saw a group walk in and try to figure out whether they should seat themselves. Eventually a server emerged from a back room and helped me. My order was a little under 14 bucks which I thought was steep, but maybe the noodles would be delicious. The pad thai was pretty dry and even bland. The shrimp was flavorful, but the only other dominant flavor was the eggs and onions– quite disappointing. The order did come with two sauces– something like a spicy ketchup and a delicious vinegary jalapeño sauce that saved the meal. There was a hair in the food, but I wasn’t 100% sure it wasn’t mine and that’s the story I’m sticking to because I was starving.

I went out in search of a taco or burrito but my Unilocal app went a bit goofy so I just drove up Rt27 and picked a place based on the sign out front. I landed at Spice Rack a very lucky break. It’s a really nice place for a strip mall, lovely décor great for a date. It was empty at lunch time but I was commuted as soon as I walked in so I stayed. Good thing I did because the place was fantastic. The lunch menu is simplified and very clear description helps the novice Indian food fan. The staff is wonderful very pleasant and truly geared towards hospitality. My corn soup came out hot, it was terrific tasty and hot. My spicy curry chicken was outstanding. The portion was fulfilling and also served hot and the spice level was also perfect. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Lunch was terrific and was $ 10 bucks I was amazed how little this excellent meal cost.

A new addition(but definitely a good one) to the already bustling Indian food scene on Rt 27 around Franklin Park. We were here on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate my birthday with family. My wife felt like eating something spicy, my parents are vegetarians, my mother in law didn’t feel like going too far because of a back condition and I wanted to try a new place. After running a few searches on Unilocal with various filters, this place came up as a best fit for all. We decided to get an order each of the Achari Portobello, Veg Manchurian(Dry) and Kai Chi wings for appetizers. The Achari portobello was a very good take on the Achari(an Indian dish which is flavored with spicy pickle masala) in an appetizer form. The Kai Chi wings and the Veg Manchurian tasted good but had a very similar flavor profile. We had also ordered a Manchow soup for each one of us and it was very tasty with bright«far-east» flavors coming through in each slurp. For the main course, we went with an order each of the Black Pepper Chicken, Saag Paneer and Shahi Dal Tadka along with an assortment of breads. The Saag Paneer was outstanding while the other two dishes were fair. The bullet naan which was among the bread assortment was a spicier take on the Mughlai flat bread. Everyone of us was stuffed and happy that afternoon.
