Indianapolis, IN
Even in the winter, this is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are simple, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Situated right on Lake Michigan and at the helm of Main Street, it’s a perfect home base.
The lovely staff is what made the stay. We were arriving late due to the weather (the front desk closes at 11 pm), so I called ahead. The night receptionist told us not to rush, that she would leave our keys and a map to our room if we ran past 11. Then our work took us past the 11 am check out time, but no problem. The morning receptionist kindly allowed us to check out an hour later at no additional charge. They were both friendly and helpful.

Wixom, MI
This is our fourth time staying here and we have never been disappointed. The rooms are large, clean and homey. The full sized kitchens are clean and well appointed. The cleaning staff is thorough and accommodating. The resort is quiet, well maintained and places you right on the beach with great swimming and beautiful sunset views. We have not found a better value or place to stay when visiting our favorite area in Michigan.

Great location! The rooms are very basic but clean. Each room has a flat screen, a hair dryer and even mini fridge and microwave. Resort even has a pool! It’s located adjacent to the beach and is in walking distance of the downtown.

The most attractive feature is that it is located on a sandy beach. The hotel room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

We’re not super-​picky, but it scored an A in all the important areas: it was clean, the bed was very comfortable (OK, on this I AM picky!), and the staff was friendly and helpful. It wasn’t fancy, but the location was good, and they had the best rate around during the color season.

Cape Canaveral, FL
Great find after a long day at Sleeping Bear Dunes and state park. Family run business right on Lake Michigan next to the marina at the end of Main Street. Kids loved the pool/​hot tub and complimentary doughnuts from incredible Crescent Bakery in town. Morning walk on the pier… highly recommend this place to stay.
