Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park

Highlights of this campground:
* Extremely tiny sites
* $ 63 a night for the most basic spot
* no camp fires at your site unless you spend an extra $ 30 on a portable fire ring (although they do have a community area that has a few fire sites)
* It’s close to the airport, so there are planes flying low overhead constantly (this was cool for the first hour or so, then it got old)
* Children’s activities seemed to run late
* the flies, goodness, the flies! They were EVERYWHERE. We couldn’t figure this one out as the park seems incredibly clean, but they were gross.
Helpful tips: Bring extra cash.
* mini golf was an extra $ 3 a person
* Pedal bike rental is $ 15 an hour
Staff was friendly. I wouldn’t personally stay here again. I thought it was very expensive, and not really a great value for what you got.

We stayed here October of 2014 for a Halloween weekend and again this July of 2015. Great experiences both times. Quite a bit for children to do in the campground with organized activities and close to everything Frankenmuth has to offer. As said in other post, bathrooms/​showers are very clean and staff is great. We’ll be back again in October.

FJP is an extremely clean campground. Spotless showers, plenty of activities for kids, terrific indoor pool/​hot tub, and very friendly staff.
