Huge selection of mostly mediocre food. The price is very cheap and great if you want to try and fill up on lots of cheap food. They could do with a few less selections and higher quality. Also the entire place needs a good cleaning. I get the impression that the old saying penny wise, pound foolish applies here to their business model.

This place is pretty disgusting, there is mold growing on the support pillars by the windows. Sitting in the booth will leave you staring at black mold during your entire meal. We literally had to move to a table to get away from the mold. The food wasnt that bad, but the service was horrible. The lady seemed to have an attitude when our party chose to order water instead of soft drinks. When bringing our drinks she threw the straws on the table and walked off. If i were you, I’d steer clear of this place!

For a buffet, it’s an average rating. At any buffet you can expect sometimes cold, sometimes old food. This place is like any other. However if you come when it’s fresh and warm, you’re in luck because the food is delicious! A full buffet with sushi, dessert, and ice cream. The wait staff is very polite, with the exception of maybe one older lady, but they are always quick to remove your plates and fill up your drinks. Isn’t the best restaurant in town, but if you want cheap, quick Chinese, this is where you go.

I have been here twice on a weekend when they would be considered busy, which in buffet terms should mean fresher, hot food choices. This is not the case on both occasions. The food was brought out warm and tough, not hot and fresh… warm and tough. Both visits exactly the same experience. Next to no sushi, I do not like sushi but thought I would throw that in there. The selection is like any other, less then some others, but just like any other of what they do have. Quality is lacking, straight from GFS to the microwave to the counter type of quality. The only saving point for here is that children are charged per age which can save you some money if you have a big eater for a child.

We walked in on a Thursday night at 7:00. The place had 4 – 5 customers but seemed a bit slow. The food was very old aged and nasty. Some of it looked like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. Pretty Gross really. I did manage to find an item or two that looked like it had been cooked today so I chose to just eat those. For a Chinese buffet what I ate(which wasn’t much) was average at best. My wife stated her food was nasty to say the least. My waitress offered to refill my coke. She took my coke with the straw in it and brought back a sprite with a straw in it. I told her umm I had coke she said sorry and gave the sprite to the guy at the table behind me and brought me another glass of coke with a straw in it. I asked are you sure this is mine? Could I please get a fresh glass with no straw and she seemed a bit offended but obliged. We brought our baby with us and my wife took her to the bathroom to change her. She came back with a horrified look on her face. I asked what’s wrong she said there is no baby changer and i think the entire bath room was just cleaned with a garden hose. They literally just sprayed off the counters, walls, floors and toilet seat with a hose. Everything was soaking wet and unusable. Cost $ 26 for two buffet orders a tea and a coke. If you decide to go here good luck.

This one of the best Chinese food buffets we have ever eaten at. The food was cooked appropriately, not over cooked. It was very tasty. The environment was well lit. There were tables and booths to sit at. The tables and food serving area were also exceptionally clean and well maintained. This place is not run down. Additionally, the staff was very friendly. This is a buffet, not a full service restaurant. If you are OK with that, this is the Chinese restaurant in Frankenmuth MI to go to. We were very satisfied. If rating as a full service restaurant, I would rate this as a 4. However, I am rating it as it is, a buffet. Therefore, I am giving it a 5! Peter & Becky

The real difference between Chinese buffets is that some are busy and some are slow. The ones that are busy are consistently updating their food, so it is usually hot and fresh. The ones that are slow typically have food that has been ‘aging’. Panda King’s food is what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. They have all the staples; lots of sauce, sodium, and reasonable prices. There have a small selection of sushi, but it looks like it was pre-made and you can guess the quality of it from there. If you are going to go, try going on a Friday or Saturday evening. It is usually busy and you will be getting some fresh food!
