Nice people but I asked for a trim and got all my hair chopped off! Went to pay and was told this one’s on me! Thanks but what I really wanted was my hair cut like I asked for! Never again!

I’ve brought both my boys here and they’ve gotten the best cuts they’ve ever had. The staff is very nice and really k ow what they’re doing. Prices are really reasonable and they have great products too. We’ll never go anywhere else.

5 Stars for Silkia! Although this is a salon geared more towards men you will find one sylist there who is amazing at both men and women’s hair. She did such a great job! All first time customers get the MVP treatment. Warm towel on your face. Shampoo and Conditioning with Headmassage all while sitting in a massage chair. Definitely worth it, ask for Silkia!

Walked in on somewhat busy sunday evening. After waiting an hour, I asked to take my name out of the waitlist since I had dinner reservations, but was told that I was next. Waited another 15 minutes but my turn never came as 2 of the 3 hairdressers were unavailable, including the one who asked me not to leave. Walked out of there. Don’t go here if you value your time. These guys certainly don’t.

This Framingham location opened recently and appears to be doing well, so it will hopefully be around a long time. It is a national franchise, originating from Texas, and is located in the Stop ‘n Shop Plaza on Old Connecticut Path at the intersection with Concord St., Route 126. There is plenty of free parking. This is in nearly the same location as the old Firefly’s BBQ, which closed a little more than a year ago. It is across the street from the Metrowest YMCA, between a small plaza with JM’s Diner and BJs. Accessible nearby from the same parking lot is Lowe’s and Target. Sport Clips is a Men-only, no nonsense, walk-in only, unpretentious, haircut place with a Sports theme décor. It is a friendly and comfortable environment, brightly lit with TVs viewable everywhere you look, except in the shampoo/hair washing room, which is kind of a quiet, dimly lit, restful area to have the ‘MVP’ treatment. The MVP package includes a haircut and shampoo. But not a simple, quick shampoo. You sit down in a reclining chair that vibrates and massages you the whole time(about 10 minutes, I think. I kind of zoned out and lost track of time). The products used for the shampoo are Tea Tree, so your scalp kind of tingles. The MVP package includes a hot facial towel(two rounds of it, and was so hot it felt like getting a blast of heat when you open up a hot oven). It also includes a low-key scalp massage. The total MVP package is only about an add-on cost of about $ 6 above the regular haircut price. I recommend treating yourself to this extra experience, which, by the way, having done this, is a bargain at twice the price. I believe you can even pay a little more and double the time, which I will do next time. Men cuts are less than $ 20, and there is a discount price for children(under 12) and seniors(over 65). There are frequent promotions and discounts. There is a loyalty card that you receive a free cut after so many regular paid cuts(I think after six cuts). They also give free neck trims between visits. Just walk in and say you need a neck trim. For my first visit, I brought along my two sons, 10 and 8, who fought me the whole way as they know no other place to get their haircut other than Snip-Its and SuperCuts. When I finally got them through the door, the staff was very friendly and made them immediately comfortable as they were quickly distracted with a basketball game on all TVs. In fact, we recognized a few employees from our local SuperCuts, which made trying a new place much easier. There were ample make and female barbers present. There was no wait when we went on this Saturday afternoon around 3pm. Our clipper cuts were done well, in a reasonable amount of time, and was an appreciated value. They gave the kids each some sort of squishy toy– one a hockey puck and the other a baseball, so they are COMPLETELY on board with returning to this place, as am I. When we were leaving, there were a few people waiting, including a ‘mom’ with two children waiting for cuts. The mom seemed a little out of place as she didn’t sit down and get comfortable while her children fought over books, but I know my wife would be completely comfortable taking the two boys there. Positives– no salon smell. Not noisy. No listening to uncomfortable conversations from women stuck under hair dryers. Floor hair vacuums at work stations instead of people running around with brooms. Price and value. Great work product and outstanding MVP package. Friendly staff. Not a place you would mind waiting if you did have to wait. Great location. They sell Tea Tree, American Crew, and Nioxin hair products, which are all my favorites. Negatives– The sports theme made me thirsty and I didn’t see any drinks available anywhere. There is a Dunkin Donuts in the Stop ‘n Shop next door, but I did not see any to purchase inside Sports Clips. Not a big deal, but would be a good addition to their theme. Hmmm… maybe some popcorn too?!
