We moved from San Francisco 9 months ago and have been looking for some non mediocre Mexican food, this place was awesome. We ordered 4 tacos(pescado, caranitas, pastor and lengue) the tacos were proper double tortillas, a heaping of well marinated flavorful meat, and simple onion cilantro garnish. The laroca and queso papusas also hit the spot with oozy cheese and zucchini flower. My wife got a mission level caranitas super burrito. We had also tried Azteca restaurant recently and found their selection more Tex-Mexy and not as good as cucina.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Mi Cocina, a young Mexican kitchen in the heart of downtown Framingham. Being a self proclaimed«taco freak», a medley of Cocina’s variations on the dish was only appropriate. We sampled the pollo, asada, carnitas, pastor and camarones. The standouts of the afternoon were the camarones(plump and sweet) and the asada which was tender and flavorful. The addition of sauteed onions to each taco was a detail neither unnoticed nor unappreciated. To bring it all together, the salsa verde was balanced with a nice kick. With affordable prices and a friendly staff, Mi Cocina has positioned itself to become a star amongst the Framingham food scene.

this place is great. it’s a pseudo hole in the wall, with great flavor. i usually call in and pick up stuff to go when I get into the framingham station from boston. the tacos are great, and the chimichangas are awesome too. i haven’t tried any of the other menu items cos these are my staples here. i should give the other items a shot. give it a go — you won’t be disappointed!

Unassuming place in downtown Framingham, food is fresh, tasty and cheap. Tacos are authentic, the Carnitas tacos are the best. Pupusas are a must try. Soups are delicious. You can find parking in the back lot. You know is good where locals eat there.
